How to manage different load frequencies in OWB?
We are using OWB repository 10.2.0.1.0 and OWB client 10.2.0.1.31. The Oracle version is 10 G (10.2.0.3.0). OWB is installed on Linux.
We have situation to bring data feed into database using OWB on different load frequency. Eg. Daily, weekly and monthly.
Are there any builtin features/best approaches in OWB to implement the above?
Does runtime audit tables maintain such load frequency data?
If not, do we need to maintain our own tables (custom) to maintain such data?
How do we able to validate before starting ETL process with respect to previous load frequency for current load?
How did our forum members handled above situations?
Any idea ?

If you look at the OWB public function WB_RT_GET_LAST_EXECUTION_TIME you can examine the query OWB uses to return this information. It is based entirely on public views that you should already have synonyms for in your OWB user.
Now, how you want to implement logic to determine if a mapping is run is entirely up to you If you are using process flows you could embed your call to start a mapping in a custom transformation that queries the repository and starts a given mapping if it deems the correct interval to have passed. We do something similar as a means to perform a process flow restart (it will skip over any successfully completed mappings from the last run if the last COMPLETE run did not finish succesfully), so that a restart picks up where the last run failed.
The main caveat I would make to mining the runtime repository is that someone purging old data might very well purge the data you are depending on, so you might want to build a couple of tables to hold your own metadata for you. E.g. one table holding the mapping name and desired interval between loads, and another holding the mapping name and last run date. The second table could get updated by the post-mapping procedure of each mapping.
Anyway, the data IS there in the repository. How you intend to access it or how much you are willing to trust its persistence is up to you.

Myself and my brother have been sharing the same apple id for all the itunes purchases. We both have iphone 4. Since the introduction of icloud, we are little confused about the id managing process. Yesterday, we both updated our iOS to iOS 5. And, just after installing iOS 5, we were asked to enter apple id and password. We both entered the same id and password. Now both are iphones have overlapping contacts and other stuff.
Now, we have deciced that we want to make separate apple id's for ourselves i.e we want different apple id's for our iclouds (plus game center) and same apple id's for all our itunes purchases (if we are allowed to do that).
So now we have no idea how to do this after once entering the same id during iOS 5 installation. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

How to manage different iTunes Libraries from same computer

I have my own AppleID, iCloud account, iTunes Match account and my own Library.
But I have just one computer and one AppleTV.
How do I manage my granddaughters accounts, so they can listen to their own libraries on their iPod touch?
I don't want to mess up login to iTunes with another AppleID and then having to wait 60 or 90 days to log back int.

How to manage different supply parameters for the same item based on demand quantity?

We are using unconstrained ASCP. We have some products that can be produced in a 'small' machine or can be produced in a large tank. If ASCP has created a planned order for a quantity less than 1000 it will be made on the small machine with the supply quantity = demand quantity. For example, we have a demand of 250, we will make exactly 250 on the small machine. But if the demand quantity is greater than 1000 we will make the supply in the tank with a fixed order quantity of 1590. Financially it will cost us less to do this and scrap the difference because the small machine is very expensive to run compared to the tank.
The challenge is, say we need 1200. ASCP generates a planned order for 1200 and all the dependent demands support 1200. Now we want to make 1590 and we are short of materials. This assumes we have set the item with no supply parameters. On the other hand, if we set a fixed order quantity of 1590 but only need 100 then we we have to scrap the materials for the balance due to a short shelf life.
Any ideas how to set a supply quantity using different parameters based on the demand quantity?

Hi Mark,
I personally don’t see any standard solution for this requirement especially with an unconstrained plan.
However, if it is feasible, you can try below solution with a 'constrained plan with decision rules enabled' and check if it works,
1.   1. Define two different items – Item A and Item B
2.   2. Item A uses small machine in its routing and can have any demand that is below 999. So, Max order quantity = 999.
3.   3. Item B uses Large Tank in its routing and is a substitute of item A. Also, fixed order quantity = 1590.
4.   4. Define component substitution relationship between A and B. A and B will have identical BOM.
In a constrained plan with decision rules enabled, optimization logic will ensure that planned orders are generated for Item A whenever there is demand below 999. And for Item A, supply will always be equal to demand quantity. When the demand is more than 999, optimization engine will select substitute item B and will generated fixed supply of 1590 for it.
Check if this satisfies your requirement.

I have a driver already developed for an instrument and want to incorporate another model into it. These instruments have the nearly the same instruction set except one is a subset of the other. I would like to know the standard way or the NI way of combining these drivers. Is there a way of storing global data? I'm using LabView 6.0.

There are various techniques used when creating a driver that supports multiple models or models with different installed options, where there are slight functional differences between the models and options.
If there are VIs that only pertain to a specific model or option, then modify the VI prefix to associate that VI with the particular model/option. For example, a function general family driver might use "ag33xxx" as the general prefix, but VIs that only operate on the ag33250 might use the prefix "ag33250".
It sounds as if you need to remember this model/option to modify functionality within a common VI. For example, the commands might differ between two different models. To handle this situation, you store model information in the User Data V
ISA property. At initialization time, you can detect which model you are connected with and either store the model number directly or some ID to represent the model.
Both these techniques are used in the Agilent 33xxx function generator driver . You will see how User Data is set in the Initialize VI and the retrieved in the Configure Burst Modulation VI.

You can edit the think time in eTester by:
Expand the tree node and right click on the address bar to select Address Properties, you can then edit the text box called Delay Before PlayBack
If you like to specify think time between actions instead of action groups: right click on the actions ans select properties, there are 2 text boxes in the new window; one for milliseconds and the other for seconds

Open the Desktop Software, select the Tools menu and go to General tab and make sure the "Start BlackBerry Desktop Software when a device is connected" options is unchecked.
Press OK and close the application.

AA new company with a different currency - how to manage it?

Hi experts,
My client has until now 5 company codes, with same currency EUR. Those 5 companies are into a same chart of depreciation.
We now have a new company code but in a different currency. I don't know how to manage this.
Do i need to create a separate chart of depreciation ?
Or do I just need to create a new depreciation area in the different currency?
How do I have to proceed?

can anyone tell me about how to manage one-one streaming thru different networks?.... For eg:- in a LAN connection, suppose 2 machines have ip's 192.168.0.1 and 192.168.0.153. but when the first machine is connected to internet, it's ip changes to say, 220.56.0.89. But the second machine even if it has internet facility , it's ip is still 192.168.0.153. how can i get the global IP of the second machine?

Backup to what where??
Do you mean backup to your TC sitting at home? Apple recommends you do not do it. It is too easy to corrupt and the speeds are too slow unless you have high speed fibre at both locations.
Do you mean cloud? Yes, you can probably backup your files to the cloud but you will need to pay for the extra storage and it is still very slow due to upload speed being a fraction of download.

How to manage work center in Production order

I am producing a material having one operation (suppose cutting), which I have mentioned in the routing. I have also mentioned the work center in routing on which cutting operation will be performed. When I make the Production order of 1000 pcs there comes only one work center. But practically, they are producing these 1000 pcs on two different work centers ( 500 on one and 500 on second). How to manage this in SAP.

What is the individual capacacity of the Work Centre -CR02-Header -No of Individual Capacity ?
I think you must be using similar kind of work centre of 2 no 1000 pc .Now , when you are creating routing for this , you should hit Required Spilliting in Routing Operation -Select Operation line item and then Double click -Select Spilitting and enter splitting No 2.
At the same time in CR02-Work Center -Capacity Tab -Hit the Header -In the Bottom of the Detail Capacity Header -Avaialabile Capacity -Include 2 as Number of Inidvidaul Capacity and SAVE.
Now based on thr required spilittinga and invidual caapcity , it will consider the Work Centre Load .
Other wise , you can enter one more operation line in routing with similar Labor hrs , work center and control key in routung for production of 1000 pc .

How to manage the iPod shuffle manually

I have an I Pod Classic which I registered on the Dell and it is managed through i Tunes which holds my 'library' of songs . I recently bought an IPod shuffle and registered it on the same machine. I missed the opportunity to manage it manually and it loaded the shuffle with a selection of the current library [ it could not load all the songs as it obviously does not have the capacity.]
I want to know how to view what is on the Shuffle and how to edit it manually.The manual I have downloaded , page 17 , gives advice such as :
"In iTunes select iPod shuffle in the list of devices and then click the summary tab. In the Options select 'Manually manage music.'
When in I Tunes I cannot find the list of devices and therefore have no access to the Shuffle libary or how to change it.

i am trying to solve one problem. I have one iMAC where i have two user profiles connected to different AppleIDs. Next to it there are two iPhones and two iPads. I am trying to find out, how to manage photos from all these devices using one account on iMAC. Second question is if there is any finction in iPhoto that can publish images to NAS server? Second alternative for me is to byu iCloud drive space and use Family sharing for publishing photos. Bellow text schema is attached, it is only my idea and i dont know if this could work like this. How you change the download frequency for a single Podcast?

I have iTunes 11.1.5 for Mac, and I can't find how to change the down load frequence , aka "check for new episodes" setting for individual podcasts. I've tried using the settings menu in the "My Podcasts" and the "List" podcast view. When I do this, I see these setting:
Keep
Download
Sort Order
Play Order
If I click on the "Defaults..." button, the top setting is "check for new episodes"
I have no problem with being able to change the default download frequency setting, but I am at wit's end with locating where I can change that setting for individual podcasts.

How to separate different views and parts of a single line of business(LOB) universal app for windows 8.1 with many users.

Hello am an intermediate Windows Phone/Store Developer. Am currently in the process of implementing a LOB app that will have three different types users, an admin, a student, a teacher . Depending on how a user logs in i would like certain pages to be exposed
to them and the rest to be hidden. The app will also store data temporally on a local db then sync regularly to an azure database(Can the recent entity framework 7 that supports store/phone apps allow code first databases or are there features still not fully
accessible in WinRT apps)...This i believe can handle but also kindly point me out to existing implemented resources/examples i will appreciate very much.
What am finding problematic is how to consume different app data stored by various users logged in for these different views. Will i need an asp web api is it really necessary cause i want to avoid it cause i have about three months to do it. I do not want
to create three different apps and one ASP Web AP, i want one single app and an api if possible, i know windows usually sandboxes apps hence app to app communication will be hard if not impossible. So my question is, is it possible to implement different
user session management with a login (Windows Live ID) which i can abstract various parts of the app from them depending on the users login id in the app. E.g How can an admin logged in the same app as the student have access rights to certain pages in the
app that a student will not see. How do i route different users to certain pages and can isolated storage store these persisting as a setting.
How can i know which login id belongs to which of the three users? How do i then assign different access to different controls of the app with their id,provide custom views routes,access right,session management. I think i can do these without an ASP Web
API is It wise? Building pages in the apps is easy but i want users to see different views of the app instead of one standard app depending on there login id, how can the NAVIGATION URI be used here. How can azure and features like active directory,azure mobile

I must have several (at least 2) locations for the item in the Warehouse and a track of this location and search possibilities.

I added a user table '@Location' who linked to a user field 'U_Location in Item master data --> lnventory data line and an ather user field 'U_Location' in sales order
I met the value of location in the table (list of locations for any warehouse), I select the location of each item while receiving merchandise in the user field of inventory data line (Item M data) and this value appears in the sales order 'U_Location' user field ( only the location value in the default warehouse for this Item)
or
create an user field 'location' in Good receipt PO to fill it while receiving merchandise that appears in the sales order to give possibility to find/select the location of the item at this order and in Item master data
