    I used NetBeans IDE 5.5 to create a Web Services (JAX-WS).I test many simple services(like add(i,j)),and then create a simple main class to test it,it works find
    but if I code

    the client recieved:

    ,I try many ways it just can't work.I can't find what the wrong is...
    ps:client is created by right-clicking in main.java, choose Web Service Client Resources > Call Web Service Operation

  • !!! How to print javax.xml.soap.SOAPElement -- help plz

    hi
    I am receiving an javax.xml.soap.SOAPElement in a stand alone client ,from a webservice.Like:
    SOAPElement soapElement = port.findParty("35020722624");
    I want to print the entire XML in the soapElement . how can i do that ? please let me know asap.

    Hi,
    You could try a recursive method like this:
    public void printTree( NodeList nodes, String padding )
         for ( int i = 0; i < nodes.getLength(); i++ )
              Node node = nodes.item(i);
              String name = node.getNodeName();
              System.out.print(padding + "<" + name + ">");
              if ( node.hasChildNodes() )
                   System.out.println();
                   printTree(node.getChildNodes(), padding + " ");
              else
                   System.out.println(node.getNodeValue() + "</"" + name + ">");
    {code}

  • How to get javax.xml.soap.SOAPMessage handler?

    Hello,
    I'm trying to evaluate WebLogic AS 10, especially evaluate it if it's possible to use our custom access control module build using JACC API inside it. The problem is, we're using SOAPMessage handler, but it seems WebLogic does not register any handler at all at least by default? That's at least what I see after example H:\bea\wlserver_10.0\samples\server\examples\src\examples\webservices\jaxws\java2wsdl\SimpleEjbImpl.java
    modification:
    public String sayHello(String s) throws SystemException {
    System.err.println("CALL sayHello: " + s);
    Object obj = null;
    try {
    System.err.println("registered handlers: " + PolicyContext.getHandlerKeys());
    obj = PolicyContext.getContext("javax.xml.soap.SOAPMessage");
    } catch (PolicyContextException ex) {
    ex.printStackTrace();
    if (obj != null) {
    SOAPMessage msg = (SOAPMessage)obj;
    System.err.println("SOAP msg: " + msg);
    else
    System.err.println("This is not SOAP message!");
    other method code is unchanged. Anyway, when I run this example I see in example server console that there are no registered handlers and in such situation following call to PolicyContext to obtain SOAPMessage handler fails with the IllegalArgumentException: unknown handler
    My question is, what I have to do in order to setup WebLogic to use standard handlers like SOAPMessage handler, EJBArguments handler etc.?
    Thanks!
    Karel

    Hello,
    it seems I've found the reason myself. At least WebLogic does not seems to support JACC by default and it needs to be switched on manually.
    Thanks,
    Karel

  • How to get an XML string from a Java Bean without wrting to a file first ?

    I know we can save a Java Bean to an XML file with XMLEncoder and then read it back with XMLDecoder.
    But how can I get an XML string of a Java Bean without writing to a file first ?
    For instance :
    My_Class A_Class = new My_Class("a",1,2,"Z", ...);
    String XML_String_Of_The_Class = an XML representation of A_Class ?
    Of course I can save it to a file with XMLEncoder, and read it in using XMLDecoder, then delete the file, I wonder if it is possible to skip all that and get the XML string directly ?
    Frank

    I think so too, but I am trying to send the object to a servlet as shown below, since I don't know how to send an object to a servlet, I can only turn it into a string and reconstruct it back to an object on the server side after receiving it :
    import java.io.*;
    import java.net.*;
    import java.util.*;
    class Servlet_Message        // Send a message to an HTTP servlet. The protocol is a GET or POST request with a URLEncoded string holding the arguments sent as name=value pairs.
      public static int GET=0;
      public static int POST=1;
      private URL servlet;
      // the URL of the servlet to send messages to
      public Servlet_Message(URL servlet) { this.servlet=servlet; }
      public String sendMessage(Properties args) throws IOException { return sendMessage(args,POST); }
      // Send the request. Return the input stream with the response if the request succeeds.
      // @param args the arguments to send to the servlet
      // @param method GET or POST
      // @exception IOException if error sending request
      // @return the response from the servlet to this message
      public String sendMessage(Properties args,int method) throws IOException
        String Input_Line;
        StringBuffer Result_Buf=new StringBuffer();
        // Set this up any way you want -- POST can be used for all calls, but request headers
        // cannot be set in JDK 1.0.2 so the query string still must be used to pass arguments.
        if (method==GET)
          URL url=new URL(servlet.toExternalForm()+"?"+toEncodedString(args));
          BufferedReader in=new BufferedReader(new InputStreamReader(url.openStream()));
          while ((Input_Line=in.readLine()) != null) Result_Buf.append(Input_Line+"\n");
        else
          URLConnection conn=servlet.openConnection();
          conn.setDoInput(true);
          conn.setDoOutput(true);
          conn.setUseCaches(false);
          // Work around a Netscape bug
          conn.setRequestProperty("Content-Type","application/x-www-form-urlencoded");
          // POST the request data (html form encoded)
          DataOutputStream out=new DataOutputStream(conn.getOutputStream());
          if (args!=null && args.size()>0)
            out.writeBytes(toEncodedString(args));
    //        System.out.println("ServletMessage args: "+args);
    //        System.out.println("ServletMessage toEncString args: "+toEncodedString(args));
          BufferedReader in=new BufferedReader(new InputStreamReader(conn.getInputStream()));
          while ((Input_Line=in.readLine()) != null) Result_Buf.append(Input_Line+"\n");
          out.flush();
          out.close(); // ESSENTIAL for this to work!
        return Result_Buf.toString();               // Read the POST response data
      // Encode the arguments in the property set as a URL-encoded string. Multiple name=value pairs are separated by ampersands.
      // @return the URLEncoded string with name=value pairs
      public String toEncodedString(Properties args)
        StringBuffer sb=new StringBuffer();
        if (args!=null)
          String sep="";
          Enumeration names=args.propertyNames();
          while (names.hasMoreElements())
            String name=(String)names.nextElement();
            try { sb.append(sep+URLEncoder.encode(name,"UTF-8")+"="+URLEncoder.encode(args.getProperty(name),"UTF-8")); }
    //        try { sb.append(sep+URLEncoder.encode(name,"UTF-16")+"="+URLEncoder.encode(args.getProperty(name),"UTF-16")); }
            catch (UnsupportedEncodingException e) { System.out.println(e); }
            sep="&";
        return sb.toString();
    }As shown above the servlet need to encode a string.
    Now my question becomes :
    <1> Is it possible to send an object to a servlet, if so how ? And at the receiving end how to get it back to an object ?
    <2> If it can't be done, how can I be sure to encode the string in the right format to send it over to the servlet ?

    ok thanks, i can get the elements, but why did it not validate it?
    I want to read the child nodes of "weblogic" not by their name but by their index. Because i dont want to confine the reader so i want to read all the child nodes of weblogic (looping over them). i m doing the following but its not returning me the correct result and giving me the wrong count of child nodes.
    Element elementNode = (Element)doc.getElementsByTagName("weblogic").item(0);
    NodeList nodeList = elementNode.getChildNodes();
    int length = nodeList.getLength();
    System.out.println("length = "+ length); // the length its giving is 5 but i shuld get only 2
    for(int i=0; i < length; i++) {
    Element elmChild = (Element) nodeList.item(i);
    System.out.println(elmChild.getAttribute("value"));
    what might be the problem?

    I would think if you intanciate the XMLReference and use IIDXMLElement GetChildCount / GetNthChild would do what you are looking for.

  • How to map C/C++ unsigned char[] to Java

    hi all,
    I'm using w2k OS.
    Given that C code:
    BYTE *fBuf;
    fBuf = new BYTE[256];
    Is there anyone of you know how to pass/map the unsigned char to java?
    regards
    elvis

    why did you classify this as byte? how do you did
    that?They probably guessed. It is probably a good guess.
    You can use the following to determine the size exactly.
    First determine what "BYTE" is exactly. You will have to find that in an include file somewhere. Your IDE might do this for you automatically.
    So, for example you might find the following...
    typedef unsigned char BYTE;
    So then you would know that the type is actually "unsigned char".
    Once you have this information you then look in limits.h (this is an ANSI C/C++ file so it will exist somewhere.) In it you find the "..._BIT" that corresponds to the type. For the type given above you would be looking for "CHAR_BIT" (because unsigned and signed chars are the same size.)
    On my system that would be...
    #define CHAR_BIT 8
    That tells you that there are 8 bits in the BYTE value. So now you need to find a java type that also has at least 8 bits. And the java "byte" value does.

  • How To Color a Text string using Regex (java.util.regex)

    Hello,
    How can I color a text string using regex class in 1.4?

    Yes, did you notice it said something about incredibly vague functionality?
    Let me break it down for you
    > How can I color a text string
    Strings do not have color... You can color a component (a label, a button), but you can't color a string
    > using regex class in 1.4?
    Using a regular expression? How would a regular exression color anything? Do you have embedded color codes? Are you searhing a string for some secret word?
    What are you talking about?

  • How to put a String(date) into Date (java.util.date)??

    hi there
    I got a GUI here and I need to read some JMaskedTextFields from it. I put them all into Strings. Now I need to pass them to the search-function, but one of the search arguments is not string. Its Date. I tried to initialize Date with Date(String s) but he doesnt take it. Now Im asking how can I do this the easiest way?
    The String has only digits and a . betwenn them, like this: 12.02.1978 and I want to pass this into the Date.
    thx for helping :-)

    thx
    Now I got it so far, it looks like this:
    String datumVon = suchen_kriterien_datVon_JMaTextFeld.getText();
    String datumBis = suchen_kriterien_datBis_JMaTextFeld.getText();
    SimpleDateFormat formatter = new SimpleDateFormat ("dd.MM.yyyy");
    ParsePosition pos = new ParsePosition(0);
    Date datVon = formatter.parse(datumVon, pos);
    Date datBis = formatter.parse(datumBis, pos);
    System.out.println(datVon);
    System.out.println(datBis);
    The Problem is that he only makes the first print when both dates are given. If I only give him the first, so he prints the first. If I give him only the scond, so he prints the second. But when I give him both, he only prints the first!!! why?
