i want to maximize the MDI window in web form.
can jdeveloper solve my problem.

Maximizing the MDI window

Hi,
From unix OS i am running the forms, can any help me by telling how to maximize the MDI window.
SET_WINDOW_PROPERTY(FRMS_MDI_WINDOW, WINDOW_STATE, MAXIMIZE) works only on Windows OS.

If you look in the Forms on-line help, all references to the Forms_MDI_Window constant always relate it specifically to Microsoft Windows. I don't think the MDI window exists in any other environment.
So in your unix system, try maximizing the window defined within the form instead.

In formsframe.java It is written that the author is Francois Degrelle so i want to ask Francois: My goal is to privent the users from resizing/maximizing/minimizing the mdi window. I have jre 1.6.0_10 which jar file do I need formsframes5.jar or formsframes.jar (those files are in formsframes.zip)

How to maximise the browser window in Forms 9i?

I want to maximise the MDI window in an Oracle 9i Form. Many posts here say to use:
Set_Window_Property(Forms_MDI_Window,Window_State,Maximize);
but it doesn't work for me. Some posts suggest there is a bug that prevents it from working. If this is the case, is there some javascript I can run to do this for me? I am already using javascript to close the browser window when I am finished with the form, so a little more wouldn't hurt.

When you are running inside the browser, you have no MDI window to maximize. (But there is a frame size that is set on the URL line or in the config file, which cannot be changed from the form).
When running SeparateFrame=True, you have an MDI window, and if you issue the maximize, Forms will set it to cover the full screen, but it will NOT be maximized.
And if you use get_window_property, it will always report window_state=normal, even if the user maximizes the window.

Get rid of the MDI window

Does anyone know how to get rid of the MDI window at run time?
I could achieve this by setting the data window to be a dialog
window, and set the set_window_property(forms_mdi_window,
window_state, minimize). Is there a better way to do than
that?

Closing the MDI Window...

Hi Guys,
I have a set of 10 forms which are being called from a
another form through Forms Menu. Lets take the scenario as Form
A opens Form B via "Open Form". From there on using Forms Menu,
Form B opens the rest of the 8 forms using "Call Form". My
requirement is that incase the MDI Window is closed all the
forms should get closed along with it. Suppose I open Form E
from Menu of Form B (Call Form) and then Open Form D from Menu
of Form C (Call Form). Currently if I have to close the
application, I have to indivisually close all the forms. So If
there are 5 forms open I have to close the MDI Window five
times. Is there a method by which on click of a single button
the Application as a whole should close, instead of user having
to closde all the forms individually.
Please help me if any body has done this before. Is there a
way to find the process id of the current forms session at the
Windows level, in which case I can right a C++ progam to kill
the process itself.

we are trying to close the sole document window we have inside of our MDI application, leaving the application itself open. By comparison, you can leave MS Word application window open without having any document windows in it. I am starting to doubt it's possible at all in Forms. To re-phrase the question, is having at least one document window open at all times a requirement for MDI application?

Did you mean change the Lync: Change the Default Font and Color of Instant Messages just as Edwin said above?
If not, as I know, there is no natural way to change it.
If yes, on the latest version of Lync 2013 client, there is a new option “IM” on Lync client “Options” list. And you need to change the default Font and Color of IM in the interface of “IM”.

Whatever the version, you can click on the gutter figure and edit it.
Click once on the column and a second time on the Gutter measurement.

You can use the Transaction STMS choose the option "Import Overview" . In the GOTO tab select "History" and choose "Import History".
Here you can find the history of requests imported to the prod system.

3. Using SICF how to set the ITS services ( Like BBPSC01 )for internal ITS so as soon as i place the order it should stop at the break point which i have set in the application.

Setting up Debugging for Integrated ITS
Tcode SICF.
Select service (e.g. default_hostàbcàguiàsapàitsàbbpsc01).
Change service settings and insert parameter ~GENERATEDYNDPRO=1.
Find program to debug. E.g. SE93. Enter bbpsc01 à Display and get Program field (SAPLBBP_SC_UI_ITS)
Execute SE38 and enter program name.
Turn HTTP Debugging ON. UtilitiesàSettingsàDebugging. Click Actv and username.
Add HTTP Breakpoint. Display source code and select Utilitiesàbreakpointsàset.
On External Debugging select HTTP Breakpoint.
Remember to remove breakpoints, deactivate debugging and remove parameter GENERATEDYNPRO.
Can run program RSBREAKPOINTS to find which programs you have breakpoints set in.

Please check Discoverer configuration guide which tells you which parameter to change in preference file(pref.txt).I think you change the value.
