How to maximize the opening form in Access 2010

We have a number of Access 2000 front end apps which use the autoexec macro to maximize the main form. When we migrate them to 2010 the options have changed and maximize is no longer one of them. This makes a cluttered user screen with windows popping
up in various locations as the user works with the app. I would also like to hide the database window from the user but for now just getting a clean screen with only a single form or report would be nice.PGordini

I have several calculated fields in a sub form and when I try to add the form and its sub form to a navigation form the calculated fields in the sub form stop working.

I made a simple demo and reproduced your issue by the steps below:
1. Create one form with two textbox and a sub form which has a textbox in;
2. Set control source of the textbox in the sub form as “=[Forms]![Form11]![t1]*[Forms]![Form11]![t2]”;
3. At this moment, the form worked ok, and then add the form to a navigation form
4. The calculated field in the sub form did not work;
In this demo, the reason the calculated field did not work is that the “=[Forms]![Form11]![t1]*[Forms]![Form11]![t2]” is wrong. In the navigation form, it could not get the sub form “Form11” and could not get the textbox “t1” and “t2”. To resolve this issue,
we could get the textbox “t1” and “t2” by getting the parent form of the sub form.
The code like below:
Private Sub Text2_Click()
'Debug.Print Me.Text2
Dim a As Integer
Dim b As Integer
a = Me.Parent.t1
b = Me.Parent.t2
Me.Text2 = a * b
End Sub

Maximize the oracle forms window in internet explorer

how can maximize the oracle forms window in internet explorer? my current display setting is 1280x1024. im using forms 10g r1
pls. i need your help.

It's probably important to know that although you can command the forms_mdi window to maximize, it won't actually "maximize". It will remain in the "normal"state. This is a current limiation that can likely only be overcome with a custom java bean.

Hi,
The the best way to debug the form is to put a breakpoint in the function module generated by the smartform.
Procedure:
Open the smartform we want to debug.
Goto Environment -> Function module name.
Open the function module in SE37. From the menu GOTO -> main program. Open the last include.
This incude contains the entire code ie the code we have written in initalization + form routines + program lines + sap generated code.
Even we can search for the text nodes, folders, templates, tables, graphics, address nodes etc with their names.
Put a breakpoint at any point you want.
If we issue any doc which triggers this form, when the control reaches the break point it will stop.
Please note that hard-coding the break points in the code ( Program lines ) is not recommended and it can´t be done unless if it is development server.
So, always put a session break point in the related function module.
We can use SFTRACE transaction to know the sequence of the control flow.
If you want to break at each and every text that is printed on the output form put the break points in the forms.
1. %write_text to break at text element.
2. %WRITE_TEXT_MODULE to break at text module.
3. %WRITE_INCLUDE_TEXT to break at include text.
Please put a break point at the first sy-subrc check.
If the control reaches this point, you can find the name of the element in the varible NAME and the content in the text node in %TEXT.
Its easy to understand the sequence of the printing if we put a breakpoint as stated above.

How to clear the open documents in case if document currency and local curr

Hi,
Can anyboday advise how to clear the open document of a particular vendor for a particular company code. Here the issue is that balace is netted to Zero in the document currency but not in the local currency. The document was posted in Currency CAD and the local currency is GBP.
When i check the FBL1N, there is it showing net balance is ZERO, but document is still in open
status. I tried using Transaction code F-44, but it is not allowing me.
Can anyboday advise how to perform this. Points will be awarded.

In the Company code global parameters(OBY6),select the check box "NO FOREX RATE DIFF.WHEN CLEARING IN LC"
and try clearing again.(You can have a F1 help on the check box to see what exactly it is).

for development, you need to install Oracle Developer
Suite 10g. This includes Forms and Reports.this topic interests me too, because I've downloaded Developer Suite and Database (both for 10g) from Oracle website, installed them, but I couldn't connect to a database.
What should be done for me to create a database link and be able to connect locally, in my personal Desktop computer? (Not to a server)
Once it was told me here that I should download 10g Database - I did it, and installed it, but it didn't work. Later, some of my job partners said I should install them in a sequence - that is, 1st the Developer, and 2nd the Database. But it has failed too. And I don't know how to configure a database connection.
