How to migrate to SSIS 2012 from Integration Services dtsx file?
I am struck at migrating the dtsx file to SSIS 2012. How to migrate that dtsx file to SSIS 2012.I made it to migrate from SQL2000 to SQL 2005 dtsx. Now I want to migrate or upgrade it to SSIS 2012.How to achieve it.Help me please.

Hi sammy,
Based on your description, you want to upgrade SQL Server 2005 packages to SQL Server 2012. If there are some individual packages, I suggest that we can directly add the SQL Server 2005 package to an existing project in SQL Server Data Tools (SSDT). For
more details, please see:
Right click on the SSIS Packages folder in the Integration Services Project in SSDT and Select Add Existing Package from the context menu.
In the Add Copy of Existing Package dialog box select Package location as File System from the dropdown.
Click on the ellipsis button next to the Package path textbox.
Locate the SSIS package (.dtsx file) which you want to add from the file system.
Click OK in the Add Copy of Existing Package dialog box to finish adding and upgrading the package.
If those packages are located in a project, we can open a SQL Server 2005 Integration Services (SSIS) project file in SSDT, and then use the SSIS Package Upgrade Wizard to upgrade multiple packages in the project.

I encounter the below error while running SSIS Package from Job or integration service. However on execution completes success fully while running from data tools. The issue occurs after migration to 2012 from 2oo5 dtsx. PFB the error.
SSIS Error Code DTS_E_PRIMEOUTPUTFAILED. The PrimeOutput method on OLE DB Source returned error code 0xC02020C4. The component returned a failure code when the pipeline engine called PrimeOutput(). The meaning of the failure code is defined by
the component, but the error is fatal and the pipeline stopped executing. There may be error messages posted before this with more information about the failure.
A buffer failed while allocating 10485760 bytes.
The system reports 26 percent memory load. There are 206110765056 bytes of physical memory with 150503776256 bytes.

The package also runs successfully from other servers. This happens only in one of our server.seems like issue with some sql configuration.Hi ,
Are you running using SQL Agent Job and Data tools on same server or different?
If it is executing fine using Data tools and failing with Job it might be User credentials issue.Try
to run Job with your credentials by using proxy .

How to create a project/solution from a completed dtsx file?
I have been working with the MSDN tutorial (with sql server 2008 R2) at

and now I'm trying to work with one of the completed lessons (lesson1.dtsx). I was able to open Lesson1.dtsx from BI by selecting the Open File option. This opened up Lesson 1 in the designer with the Flow task and LookUp objects. But there
is nothing in the solution explorer, and 'Start Debugging' is grayed out in BI/Debug. Is there a way I can create a project / solution from this completed dtsx? How to accomplish that?
Like in C# if I open up a .csproj file in VS(2012) I can run the project, and on closing -- VS will ask to save the solution .sln and VS creates the .sln for you. Can BI do something like that with a .dtsx file?
Rich PMy previous effort didn't work -- with DimDate table. If I knew what I was doing I am thinking I should be able to adapt the 2008 AdventworksDW to the tutorial.

Actually, the tutorial has misled you. It says that DimTime should be used that should be removed and correct steps should have been added.

I have an SSIS 2012 project file *.dtproj. I want to create .ispac file from a program for continuous integration. I saw posts saying we cannot do it using msbuild. What are the other options? Has anyone used ssismsbuild (sqlsrvintegrationsrv codeplex)

In SSIS 2008 you have to adjust your parent package in Visual Studio and point to the deployed package, as ArthurZ stated.

Open both of your images in the Editor. Click on the image you want to copy and press Ctrtl+A (select all) followed by Ctrl+C (copy) then click the tab for your other image and press Ctrl+V (paste)
Alternatively click on your background image then simply drag the second image from the photo/project bin and drop it into the main editor workspace on top of the background image. Use the move tool to position and the corner handles of the bounding box to scale. -

It also appears that your phone may have been Hacked and / or Jailbroken...

Don't under any circumstances.
All images is not a file. It's not a place. It's a list. Specifically, it's the result of an instruction: List all the images on my machine.
When you delete something from All Images, then you have no idea what you're removing from where - files that are part of word processing docs, interface elements, corrupting your iPhoto Library. There are many perfectly legitimate reasons why you might have what appears to be duplicates but are not.
Rule number One: Never delete anything on your machine whose job you don't understand. -

But the basic concept is you create or connect (for LDAP) users in Shared Services. You also create groups as required for these users. Then in shared services you provision those user to Planning applications (directly or indirectly through groups)
Then in Planning you will see users or groups. And in planning you connect them to either members in dimensions or to objects like Forms, Task lists, Business Rules.
There is therefore no such thing as synching Shared Services with Planning.
Note: the 2 steps mentioned above can be done in batch through load utilities.
