How to modify -classpath dynamically?

use classpath to execute an application:
java.exe -cp c:\lib; TheApp
while TheApp is running, maybe another classpath is required (i.e. user uses FileChooser from TheApp to select a directory: c:\any_dir).
my Q is:
how to add c:\any_dir as a new classpath dynamically afterwards to make TheApp's enviornment the same as following command:
java.exe -cp c:\lib; c:\any_dir; TheApp

You cannot modify the class path specified on the command line on runtime.
However, what you can do is make a ClassLoader that loads classes from the path you want, and use it to load the classes you want. (Ugh what a horrible sentence..)

I have already done the things mention in the link you sent me. This is ok for when I loop the dynamic itab step by step. So it will modify the itab, line by line. But, what I wants to do is modify an itab field which have the same key in multiple lines.
For an example say in my structure I have material #. I wants to update all the rows of column 'material description' which have the same material #.
This is where I have stucked...

We want to modify the classpath of WebLogic to include classes of other
products we use (like SpatialFX) so our server programs can get to them.
Since we have WL running as a service how do we do this - short of
uninstalling the service, modifying the install script, and reinstalling
the service?

I have tried to use System.setProperty("java.class.path", "my class path string ") to set classpath dynamically. But it is not working. How to set it dynamically from java class ?? Thanks , gary

Look into the java.net.URLClassLoader. You can't set the classpath after the fact but you can specify URL's that will checked when you try to load a class with that loader.

Changing Initialization Parameter Values
The ALTER SYSTEM statement enables you to set, change, or restore to default the values of initialization parameters. If you are using a text initialization parameter file, the ALTER SYSTEM statement changes the value of a parameter only for the current instance, because there is no mechanism for automatically updating text initialization parameters on disk. I have to fetch the record_type from a lookup where I can have any of the record type, sometime USES, HOW TO USE, SIDE EFFECTS and sometimes some other set of record types
In my report I have to get these record typpes as field name dynamically whichever is available in that lookup and record values against them.

because I have other restriction, so I create two restricted key figure..
RK1 with restriction : Total Number of Note,
RK2 with restriction : Total Opening Days ,
then I Created a calculated key figure, average opening days in a period
CK1 = RK2 / RK1..
in this case, I am not sure if it will work or not..
for example, during RK2 calclation, it might be this   2+3 = 5, the line with 0 will be ignored..
during RK1 calcualtion, it might be 1 + 1 + 1 = 3. ---> Not sure in this case, the line with opening days 0 will be calculated or not..
could you please confirm..

How do I use dynamic JSP vars in a form tag with implicit sessions?

I'm using iAS 6 SP4 and 'lite' sessions w/ sticky LB on Win2K for development and need to use a dynamic variable (via an = scriptlet) to specify the URL a form tag's ACTION method posts to. The implicit URL session encoding attempts to add the hidden input tags to the form but part of it is getting cut off. If I remove the dynamic var scriptlet from the form tag it works fine. How can I use dynamic vars and implicit URL session encoding?
Here's my code sample:

The problem I tried to solve was that I want the result from my service methods
in XML format. I thought a callback/polling was the best alternative, am I right?
Since the callback option doesn´t work I will try to poll the service.
Are there any other options for solving my problem??

You can edit a PDF file if you have the Adobe Acrobat software

I would like to modify the behavior for the lookup field.
Normally you get a screen where it is possible to search through a lookup. The items resulted from the search are listed as radiobutton items. Therefore you can select only one at the time to be added.
Is it possible to have the items to be listed as checkbox instead? So that you can check multiple items and therefore be able to add multiple items at the time?
For example:
To add the user to 10 different groups on MS-AD.
It is desired to have the ability to check multiple groups to be added instead only one at the time.
My client would like to use this feature in many other situations.

Displaying will not be a big deal but with that you have to customize the action class and its working as well.

What version of oracle are you using? If it is 9i,
then you can the command
alter table <table_name> rename column <column_name> to <new_column>;
if it is 8i or earlier, you can create a view with the required names.
