XCode How to modify menu item

Newbie here. Have been searching around not have not been able to find a example that shows how to modify a menu item dynamically.. eg. Like in the menu bar the battery menu info is able to show how much battery life is left.

Have you looked over Views in Menu Items in +Application Menu and Pop-up List Programming Topics for Cocoa+, or the MenuItemView sample app?

If web GUI, it should be following the same principles as your "DocInfo" changes (only the basis service is COLLECTION_DISPLAY). If you are trying to modify Desktop Integration Suite, I'm afraid there is no help (at least, I have not heard that DIS could be modified by custom components).

How to make menu-item of current page appear in a different font color?

My menu-bar works just fine. Hovering the links I get the text to take display the desired color. Now I want the menu-item of the selected page to show a third color.
With live-code enabled in Dreamweaver CS6, I can see the following code being generated by the Dynamic menu:

In order to see if the class is "working" I tried some other attributes, that DO work!

I have found a solution myself for 2 of the 3 questions i had:
I have deleted/changed this div: #nav_1371057 li li
And created a few new ones:
#nav_1371057 li li a, #nav_1371057 li li a:visited (To control the link en visited link colors in the sub-menu other than the root-menu)
#nav_1371057 li li a:hover (to control the hover in the sub-menu other than the root-menu if nessesary)
#nav_1371057 li li.selected a (to control the selected link and let the link change color or bolder like in my case)
Here are the CSS styles I used:

How to disable menu items through c# in adobe x standard. I didn't find the required APIs.

We are working on a desktop application on C# which uses Adobe Express 5.0. to view the PDF files. Recently we had an issue reported that PDFs created in Adobe 9 are not opening up. So we decided to upgrade to Acrobat Adobe X Standard. Now the issue is that I have to suppress controls (tool bars(or Panels), menu items) for which I'm using the below code which worked in express 5.0 but not on Adobe X. Also I want to view the toolbar by default instead of the translucent menu at the bottom of the page.

We used javascript to find out the names of the menu items that are present in the Adobe 9.0 Std. I presume that it would work even for Adobe 10.o as well. After that in the .NET C# code we have used App.RemoveMenutItem ("<<MenuItemName>>") to disable all the menu items that we dont want You can search for javascript references for Acrobat and you would find many.
Also I've figured out another way where you remove the .api files from your plugins folder, however I'm not sure if it would create any further problems. This is route is not taken, atleast for now.

How to hide menu item(Download a Copy...etc) of online site in sharepoint app according to different condition

My requirement is that need to build a sharepoint app, the app need to deploy to office store, whether to display "Download a Copy" according to different login in user(sharepoint office365 user),
click the documnet, navigate to the other website, after get the document stream, i need to convert the stream to the other data format(pdf...etc), maybe i need the third-party dll to achieve it, so i think of sharepoint provider-hosted
way to handle the requirement.
i don't know whether there are the other way , if my way is the best, how to achieve it ?

According to your post, my understanding is that you want to hide "Download a Copy" according to the user permissions.
We can achieve it using jQuery and SharePoint REST API. Use REST API to check user permissions, then hide "Download a Copy" like this:

Hi experts,
I have a DB table called attribute in that i am having set of attributes namely att1,att2,att3....... And in application builder i had created a page called service request. When i run the page it have att1,att2,att3 and their corresponding page items. For example ATT1 has text field,ATT2 has a text field,ATT3 has select list. Now the user want to edit the page items(while the page running) ATT1 to select list and ATT2 to Select list and ATT3 to Text field after the changes it should reflect in the application page.

Does somebody know, how to modify menu item rendering in oracle UCM 11g?
In previous version, 10g, I used to make in using menuA_MenuItem_OpeningHtml(node, nodeLocation), menuA_MenuItem_CoreHtml(node, nodeLocation), menuA_MenuItem_ClosingHtml(node, nodeLocation) javascript methods in my custom layout.js template, but in the 11th version those methods are not fired. Menu items itself are rendered as DIV wish UL element in it, I would like to have another HTML markup there. Is it any option to do than in a simple way?

Hello, Jiri, the tutorial you've sent makes 100% clear how to add items into menuA or MenuB, but it still does not explain, hot to change menu item rendering. Yahoo interface library generates UL/LI elements for the main menu, but in case I would like to have a table instead of LIs, what modifications need to be done, that's a question. But may be I just cannot read. Will go through the example one more time.

The menu items appeared without any idea why, they had not been there before. I have macbook with os 10.6.8 I had been trying to get pdf to work in firefox, so had followed a recipe suggesting enabling the pdf reader part of firefox. Required making 2 adjustments to the about:config. One disabling the browser.preferences.incontent and would changing default of pdfjs. Pdf still won't display, but don't know if what I did is related. Now I am trying to just find out how the menu gets modified at all, and whether I can do so as a user.

A little research revealed addons can add items to context menu, in this case multifox adds option to open tab in new profile for multiple gmail etc logins. I had updated addons earlier, think that triggered it. So now I know why and what it does. The problem is why 6 times listed (instead of just one)... it also varies, sometimes the context menu will have one instance... and have seen as many as 9. Not sure why it varies, but would still also like to know how to modify context menu. Could just be a bug in multifox with FF17 I suppose. I will disable multifox and see if problem goes away.

Well, I dont want users to be able to access/modify the trusted identities, so i decided to remove/hide the:
Acrobat X > "Sign & Certify (panel)" > More sign & certify (i think its a menu) > Manage trusted identities (menu item).
And can i hide/remove above mentioned item in any way other than javascript, like plugin code?
Is it in any way possible to prevent user from accessing/modifying the acrobat trusted indentities?

How to have some top level menu items not be hyperlinks

I have a navigation band where 5 of the 6 top level items need to NOT be hyperlinks but simply "category titles" that you mouseover to display the submenu - which are the links to web pages.
An example of this is on the Amazon.com home page - the items under "Shop All Departments" has categories that are not clickable, but when you mouseover display the clickable submenu.
Is it possible to customize some but not all of the top menu items and how?
What do I need to modify in the CSS so that the top "category title" looks/behave the submenu (same font color/bgcolor changes) but no active hyperlink?

Here is a link to my pagewhere I am testing the navigation. Currently there is only this one page and I have <a href="#"> for the links.
The only menu item that should be clickable in the top level is "Contact"
Everything in the second and third level (Events > Research >...) needs to be clickable
Everything is working as I want except that "Research" needs to be clickable
- and I would like to have the clickable item text be underline when in the hover state but I want to get the base navigation working first
The closest matching code I found in the CSS is:

Given the fact that you speak about AAMEE, it's not clear if you search for an automated and remote way to do it on multiple machines or not.

To disable menu items, simply go to Edit>Menus and click on the eyeball next to the menus you do not want.
It is then possible to save it in a workspace that by default will be located there: Documents and Settings/[user name]/Application Data/Adobe/Adobe Photoshop CS6/Adobe Photoshop CS5 Settings/Workspaces (Modified)
I'm not sure if Photoshop will start if the default workspaces are removed, as there is an option to restore them in the preferences.
Also, this is not customer support, but a forum fielded by volunteers that answer when they can, so inviting for an"immediate response" has no bearing; and might even have the opposite effect, but thanks for doing it in a polite and non too demanding way!
