How to organise this?

I've been migrating from PC with 80 gb of music. All music is in folders. I have added this to itunes (not imported), and... what a mess. Lots of the same artist spelled in different ways gives more artists, and lots of double albums.
I don't have enough space on my macbook to put this music, and I need to use a lot of times to clean up names and such.
But how should I do this. I guess I have to clean up and then export to a new disk or??
Go to iTunes prefs>Advanced>General and show iTunes the path to your external HD. At the same time select "Copy files ... to library". This will now tell iTunes to copy any added tunes (including imported tunes) to your external HD. Once you have done this, any editing of id3 tags will be done to the tunes on the external HD.
To clarify - you "add" already ripped tunes and you "import" AIFF (audio tracks) that you are ripping to mp3/4, Lossless etc.
There are 2 files in HD>User>Music>iTunes named "iTunes Library" and "iTunes Music ....xml" - do not move these file from their current location. Even though you are using an external HD for the tunes those 2 files MUST be in the location noted. These 2 files are what iTunes and other programs use to see where iTunes has put various information.
If you have additional external HD's connected you should be able to just drop the files into the main iTunes window and they will be copied to your external HD.

You will find the realted fields in the weblink.If you are not unable to find the field and table, go to functional consultant and ask him about the filed.
he will show you and click on F1.you can see the techncail information.Click on this and you will see table name and field name.

How to do this in Oracle discoverer for OLAP
I have two dimensions like commodity ( having 3 levels) and organisation ( having 8 levels) and Time ( Year- Quarter-Month) . The measure is Gross spend in USD. I have calculated 4 measures on this.
When I make the report in discoverer plus I have created the reports as organisation as page Items at level 1. Commodity is another dimension which i have put in left hand of the report.I want to compare specific month calcualtion to prior or future month selection with out having drill downs,because when we drill on year, it contains 3 quarters and contains 4 months.. the report is becoming very big and the calculations are getting for each year.how to avoid this

Yes, but external disks will always be slower than internal drives.
Look into file synchronization software. As long as folder structure is identical inside the two master folders, and drive letters the same, you can keep the two machines fully synchronized very easily, going both ways. The one I use cost about $50 or so.
Use a large capacity 2,5" portable (goes in your pocket) for transport. You need the entire master folder there, but once set up only new or modified files are copied.
The Lightroom catalog can be synchronized with the rest, so that you are working with the same catalog on both machines. This overwrites the catalog with a new copy every time, so a regular backup schedule in addition is a must. OTOH you will have three copies of every file, one always off-site. That's sound backup practice.
Tip: exclude the Lr Previews folder from the synchronization. They are written to disk in such a way that they take an insanely long time to copy. New previews will be built on the receiving machine. -
I would like to print a four sided programme, but am having trouble finding out how to organise the sections onto a 17 by 11 paper with the sections in the right order. Any help?
If all you are going to do is print double sided and them make
a single fold reducing the page to 8 1/2 x 11, one side of the
original 17 x 11 page will be page 4 on the left as you hold
the page facing you and page 1 on the right, reverse side
should be printed so top is same as top on the the first side
and will be page 2 to the left and page 3 to the right. Pick
up the double sided document with pages 2 and 3 facing you, fold
left edge to meet right edge; you should now have fold on the left
with page 1 facing up toward you, turn the page as you normally
would and pages 2 & 3 should be in order, and one more turn brings
you to page 4 and the fold should know be on the right. I hope this
explains clearly enough - if not, post back and some one should
join in with a better explanation. -

Hi,
Due to my brother locking me out of my ipod touch I had to wait an hour to log in again. Unfortunately when I did this, I, again put in the wrong password twice more, each time locking me out for a further 60 minutes. On my 3rd attempt to log in the wrong password was entered again. This time though instead of logging me out for another 60mins it now tells me to "connect to itunes" but I have no idea how to do this and I am now unable to use my ipod. For example, during my conversation the second line receives a call, I hear the sound in dynamics such as "piiiip piiiip," but when in this situation I recieve SMS and i hear established melody and I do't hear the person on all over SMS. I bought an I pad 2 from us but I can not activate the Facetime in UAE(Dubai)as I can not see the country in the I pad's drop list, anyone has an idea as to how to resolve this issue
I'm not that familiar with how FaceTime works. I know how to set It up but I don't use it. I just know that you can't activate in the UAE. I believe that you can activate in any country that permits it's use. Whether you will need a new ID or not, I can't confirm.
You can Google this and get all sorts of articles on workarounds. Apparently if you set up a VPN you can use it in the UAE. Here is one article that I found.

If I understand correctly it sounds like your phone hasnt been recognized in iTunes on your PC since the last couple of updates. I would use the troubleshooting in the following article which will walk you through the steps one by one.

My new iPhone 4S (week old) can't connect to iTunes, App Store or iBooks via Wi-Fi (and some other apps e.g. Hollister – but most of the other apps like Safari or ebay work fine). There is no problem with those apps loading via 3G network. When I turn off the wi-fi, it runs over 3G and i can access App store without any problem. When i turn off the 3G network and turn the Wi-Fi on, those apps like App Store won't work, other apps work fine. When i turn on both Wi-Fi and 3G, the App store (and so on) is also not working, other apps are.
I also found out that when the Wi-fi is on and I sign out my apple ID, the App store starts working! But when I log in again, it will imediatelly stop working. I've tried logging in with others apple IDs, still with the same result. There is no problem with my apple ID account, because it works on my iPad, even via Wi-Fi.
When i first set up my iPhone, there were no complications using App store ia Wi-fi with exactly the same account. I don't know if it has anything to do with it, but this problem started when i logged in with my UK account and then wanted to log back in with my Czech account.
I tried turning it off, hard reset and deleting my iPhone several time (even without back up). Nothing worked since then.
Does anyone have any idea how to fix this?
I would really appreciate ANY help. This porblem is driving me crazy!I am also having the same issue. Please help!
