How to pass 0..n entities via Data Context across Activities

I have a requirement to pass a 0..n entity from one activity to another, but I got this error message when mapping the input/output of the Task to the context.
Here is my scenario:
a. I have a Request Task and a Approval Task. The Requester role will enter the data in the Request Task UI and the Approver will view the data entered and approve the request in the Approval Task UI.
b. Request Task has a WDJ component with a 0..n node called Applicants. This stores a list of applicant details for a course application.
c. Approval Task has a WDJ component with a 1..1 node called Course Details, and also a 0..n node called Applicants.
d. I created a Data Context by dragging the Context of Approval Task into the process view.
e. Now I want to map the output of Request to the Data Context. I do this by dragging the Applicants node of the UIResponse of Request to the Data Context's Applicants node. But NWDS prompts me an error saying that the are incompatible, the two Applicants node being of different namespace. The Data Context's Applicant comes from the Approval UI, while the Request's Applicants comes from itself, the Request UI.
I cannot do a attribute-by-attribute mapping of the Applicants's children because i want to map the whole Applicants 0..n collection, not just 1 Applicant.
How can I do this? Or this there any misunderstanding on my part?

It works!
First I dragged from the Request Task UIResponse.Applicants node to the DO Context.Applicants node.
At this point, an error will be shown, stating that the namespaces are incompatible.
Nonetheless, I continued on and dragged each of the individual attributes of the Request Task UIResponse.Applicants node to the corresponding DO Context.Applicants's attributes.
The error will disappear at this point and I can build, deploy and run the process without error. (Actually the error did not go away at my first attempt, I tried again and the error was then cleared)
I run the process and was able to pass the 0..n list of Applicants from one activity to another.

We use Cisco CSS 11501S to do the SSL offload of web servers in one-armed mode. So we have to SNAT client IP in order to guaranty correct return path via the CSS. In this case web server can see only the IP address of the VIP used for SNAT. If there is a way to pass customer?s IP to the web server - i.e insert customized HTTP HEADER something like HTTP_REMOTEADDRESS:<IP address of the client> - similar to what is possible with BIG IP device for instance?
Second question if there is a way to get from the CSS access log data similar to what we have in Apache access.log file to be used by Webalizer or similar application to analyze web traffic.

if you're not doing src nat, the css will spoof the client ip and therefore, there is no need to save the client ip in the http header.

How to pass the selected table row data from popup to source view

Hi ,
I have requirement of passing the data from popup view to source. , searching some data in popup view and displaying in table,
Like i am passing some input and click search button will display the data in table, when select any of the row in the table and click on the another button , i should be able to pass the select row to the source view and also should close the popup.
When i implement , In the popup windiw, when i enter the customer no, and click on search button, it is closing the popup itslef. not able to see the data in popup.
Can u tell me what is that soultion.

1) Source view
In "Source View" i have input field called Customer_no. But, the end user will not have any idea , what customer no to enter. so i am searching the customer no in the popup view.
1) Customer_no( This is an inputfiled , to get the customer no from the popup view)
2) Get Customer NO( This is a button to call the popup view)
"Get Customer NO" This button action will open the popup view.
In this popup, i have
1) Input field (To enter the search term)
2) Search (To seach the customer no based on the search term)
3) Table ( To display the search data)
4) Button in Table tool bar called "Select" .( To close the popup view after selected the required data in the table to pass it back to the source view).
so in the popup view what happening is, when i click on the search button itself , it is closing the popupview by transfering the first row of the tbale ,with out select the required row in the table.
i need to close the window after click on the "Select" button in the toolbar , after selected the required row data to trasfer in the table.
Can u pelase tell me what are the modifcations i need to do it.

As my investigation if I can remove following code segments then program is working fine.

How to pass the single/multiple selected data of a table to SAP(R/3)

I have a table with 2 colums and 10 records.Now i want to send the selected record/Multiple records to the R/3.
Once the user checks the checkbox i retrieved the column values of that row/rows into a string array.
and i added all the string arrays to an AbstractList.
Now in function module it is giving as setT_TestOperations(AbstractList)
can any one help as how the function module understands the individual/multiple String arrays.
If possible provide sample code for the same.

One way to achieve this is to maintain an attribute in the assistance class or a node element , called OldLeadSelection , at the Component controller level which stores the value of the lead selection index.
On LeadSelect action handler method, in the first line, read the value of the attribute/element defined above. For the first time a row is lead selected, this value will be initial. After exexcuting the code in the LeadSelection event handler method, store the LeadSelection index value in the attribute defined above. The next time when the LeadSelection event method is called, when the value of this attribute is read in the initial line, it will house the value of the index of the previous LeadSelection.
There could be other ways to achieve this. This is one of the methods.

after database instance installation manually, need to use Data Mover to import *.db file into database from windows client server.
in this step, any one can advice the setup for DEMO and SYSTEM type.

if Demo selected, hcengl.db is involved, but no ptengs.db
I have tried:
1. select SYSTEM and PeopleTools Database, then import ptengs.db, Then hcengs.db and hczhsa.db.
2. Only import hcengs.db and hczhsa.db
But both are failed for there exists many database record error in the subsequent step.

The second option is the correct one, but if you already ran the 1st, then it will fail. Better to recreate the db from scratch and directly go for the 2nd option.

Use the call syntax ...

.. or better yet ...

As you are passing a date you do not need to use the to_date function in the cursor SQL statement.

How to pass multiple items in Adobe forms to a Webservice

I'm trying to create Interactive Form to create a sales order in R/3.
Please somebody tell me how to pass the multiple line item data to the Webservice.
For example, the Webservice I'm using was generated from BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFORMDAT2.
The BAPI has tables for item data in sales order.
However, when I create the form with table for item data, the only last line of the table is passed to the Webservice.
How can I create Adobe forms to pass multiple line item to the Webservice.

I have worked on the same application for the creation sales order and has used the same BAPI.
You should first extract the data from the table node through the method "get_static_attributes_table" and take all the result into a table of type same as element of that particular node.
Now pass the data from this table into the internal table of type as mentioned in the BAPI using work area.
And pass this table to BAPI.
This will work .

Early Start and Early Finish Dates for Completed Activities?

I am using P6 release 7 and having a problem with Early Start and Early Finish Dates for completed activities. For example, for an activity "A" the actual start date is 10-Oct-2013 and actual finish date is 19-Oct-2013, and activity is 100% completed but somehow P6 showing me the Early Start Date 02-Nov-2013 and Early Finish Date 02-Nov-2013. To me early start and early finish dates should not really be a matter for completed activities but I like to know why and how P6 calculates early start and finish dates for completed activities. Please let me know if somebody has an answer.

By selection screen, what do you mean? There is no selection screen in WDA as there was in classic dynpro. Do you mean you are using the Select-Options reusable component? Are you wanting to call a standard transaction via ITS - SAPGUI for HTML? Please provide more details to your question.

How to pass the data from a input table to RFC data service?

I am doing a prototype with VC, I'm wondering how VC pass the data from a table view to a backend data service? For example, I have one RFC in the backend system with a tabel type importing parameter, now I want to pass all the data from an input table view to the RFC, I guess it's possible but I don't know how to do it.
I try to create some events between the input table and data service, but seems there is no a system event can export the whole table to the backend data service.

Thanks for your answer, I tried the solution 2, I create "Submit" button, and ser the mapping scope to be "All data rows", it only works when I select at least one row, otherwise the data would not be passed.
Another question is I have serveral imported table parameter, for each table I have one "submit" event, I want these tables to be submitted at the same time, but if I click the submit button in one table toolbar, I can only submit the table data which has a submit button clicked, for other tables, the data is not passed, how can I achieve it?

Sorry for my unprecise answer, but you talk about a tcode, but you're using a BAPI Call. Maybe you want to call the transaction in batch mode?
