How to pass campaign code in URL as a parameter in B2C application.

Hi all,
I have a requirement to directly land on the product detail page along with the effective campaign once user click an URL. The campaign code has to be passed through the URL.
It will be of great help if someone assist in achieving this.

The application can be started with the following URL:
http : //<host name>/b2c/b2c/init.do?shop=<shop name>&areaID=<area Guid>&productID=<product Guid>
The campaign code has to be passed through the URL
E-Mail campaigns can be created with a link to the URL that will take the customer directly to the webshop. The URL can also contain aparameter MIG. MIG is short form for Mail Identifier GUID that is used for identifying campaigns uniquely. MIG can be used by the system to determine the corresponding Campaign ID.

How to pass Function code to Submit or Call transaction command

I have to call a report in an other report, But the problem is when i call the report through submit command i need to skip the initial screen and display an other screen. the other screen is not next screen. It display after clicking a button on main screen.
Is there any way to pass Function code to submit command. submit command code is as under

Hi,
   It is not possible to pass function code with submit. alternatively you can work with CALL TRANSACTION with BDCDATA.
Or as a work arround way you can modify your code i.e check for function code or an dummy parameter which can be passed by SUBMIT statement.

How to pass a run time value as a parameter to a webdynpro iview

Hi,
we have a webdynpro which we can call with passing a run time value in this form:
https://xxx.yyy.zzz/sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/zfkq_inv_1?WI_ID=000000004332&sap-client=700&sap-language=EN&sap-wd-sapgui=X
This link will be sent to many users but the WI_ID will change every time.
It works fine but now we want to implement this webdynpro in our portal. The user shall get a link like this
https://xxx.yyy.zzz/irj/portal/webdynpro-test?wi_id=000000004332. With this link he will navigate directly to the webdnypro (quicklink-function).
The problem is that i don't know how to transfer the parameter WI_ID in the url to the webdynpro.
It's no problem to fix the WI_ID in the application parameter properties but this is not what we want.
Is it possible to transfer the url parameter to the application parameters of the webdynpro iview ?

Hi Mirko,
The first thought I had is if your scenario makes sense at all. Because you might send out the links, but probably the iView will also be accessible via navigation, and in that case this additional parameter won't be there!?! (And if the iView is not accessible by navigation, then why going the way via the portal and not the direct way to the application like with your first link given?!).
Anyhow, I think this should be possible by using the AppIntegrator, see The customer exit of the Application Integrator
For an example about how to add individual values to users which you then can add to the URL see this discussion: App Integrator, and custom URL parameters using Customer Exits - this might be a possibility that each user can call the "same" iView but in fact the app integrator then would be fired with different URL parameters (per user).

How To Pass Multiple Parameters In URL

Hi All,
I have a requirement to pass two paramaters to the URL which is expected to open a report with filtered data.
The context is, I have two reports 1. mainreport 2. subreport.
The mainreport provides a link ( which is TestcaseId ) which on clicking opens the subreport.
In my case the TestcaseId can have duplicates.So i wanted to pass the TestPlan name which helps me filter the data specific to the testcase which is clicked.
Expectation: I want the TestcaseId link to pick up the TestPlan name too when clicked and present the filtered data in sub report.
Note: The TestcaseId and TestPlan name are dynamic and should be picked from the main report.
I already have the report configured to pick the TestcaseId and now would like to know how do i pass TestPlan name as well to the URL.
Please help me with this.

Thank you for your points.
I have URL with both the parameters defined in it.
Let me explain my requirement in detail.
My main report displays the contents in a table like the example below
Test Case Id     Test Plan
TC_1.1     ACR758TripReport
TC_1.2     ACR758TripReport
TC_1.3     ACR758TripReport
TC_1.1     ACR539
The test case ids are displayed as links and on clicking will open the subreport with detailed steps.
Considering the example above. When i click TC_1.1 which is appearing twice in the table, The subreport should fetch only steps specific to the test plan in the same row and not all.
So,To filter the data, I wanted to pass the test plan name to the URL.
Can you list out the steps in detail to achieve this.
Note: User clicks only on Testcase id link but the URL should pick testcaseid and testplan name to fetch the data.

How to pass array in the url of the servlet

How can i pass an array in the URL that calls a servlet. For instance,I have this in my servlet rite now:
        MyClass obj = new MyClass();
        String[] args = {"-opt1","-opt2","file1","file2","file3"};
        obj.main(args);I want that the "args" should come in the URL call,because some php application would be calling this, for instance:

Sorry,needed to edit this,I am getting some problem,please help if you can:
I call the java class from the servlet as shown above,and it executes fine but only for the first time...after that the tomcat automatically shuts down .....can someone explain me why????
How can i get the execution control back to the servlet ..for example:

How to pass form value through URL?

I have a page set up so that pressing the submit on a form will execute a certain page. For certain reasons I also have a URL HREF link that performs a different function. I need to get the value of a radio button group (all with the same name) and pass that value through the URL if it is pressed. So if someone clicks on the second radio button in the list which has a value of 2, I need to somehow set that to a variable to pass through a URL link. Each time the user changes the radio button I need to dynamically change the variable too.
Is there any way to do this?

I have a cfInput that binds to the radio buttons so the value of the cfinput changes dynamically.
I have a CFDIV that binds to a separate .cfm page that passes the cfinput through as an argument.
The .cfm is very basic:

This method appears to work and it sets the Feedvar variable to the appropriate value. However on my first page with the cfdiv tag when I try to pass the #FeedVar# variable through a URL it says it is not defined.
Any clue if I am doing something wrong passing the new variable back?

Very simple query, how do I pass the values that i get in the cursor to a select statement. If table1 values are 1,2,3,4 etc , each time the cursor goes through , I will get one value in the variable - Offer
So I want to pass that value to the select statement.. how do i do it?

How to pass multiple MDX values for a single parameter into a drill-through report?

I'm thinking this will be an easy question for any experienced SSRS/MDX developers, at least I hope so! I've created a report that gives the user the option to choose viewing data for the current/active week, or YTD. Depending on which link the
user selects, the report simply calls itself and needs to pass in the parameter value for Active week. If it's active week, the parameter value will simply be "true". If it's YTD, the parameter value needs to be both "True" and "False" so the current
week's data is accounted for as well. I've set everything up except for the final step, and I have no idea what to type into the Value field below. I've tried different things: false, as you see below (it errors saying I'm missing the parameter
value), the value in MDX format: =[School Dates].[Active Week].&[True] (it said I was missing a bracket), a 1 instead of the word true (again, missing a parameter value). Nothing is working.
So my question is kindof two-fold: 1) how do you pass in the value at all and 2) more specifically, how do you pass in multiple values (both true & false) ??

I'm sorry for being so dense, but I'm not quite following, although what I've tried makes me think if I can follow you, it will work :)
To answer your initial questions, you are correct with both your assumptions:
1) detailType is the parameter that specificies YTD/Weekly, this is a "report defined" parameter that I am using to determine which Row Group to display (either YTD or Weekly)
2) SchoolDaysActiveWeek is the parameter that is being set to either true or false -- this is a field in the cube that states whether that record is for the current week or not
So in following your instructions, well that's the problem I'm not quite following :)
1) When you say Delete the SchoolDaysActiveWeek parameter from the report only, do you mean to mark the parameter as Hidden? If so, I've done this.
2) I'm not quite sure where to use the statement you provided me. You said to put it in the dataset, but I don't know which dataset. I assume you mean the "main" dataset (as opposed to the hidden dataset that gets generated when you mark a field
as a parameter). If this is the case, the only place I could see that would allow you to use such a statement is in the Filter section of the properties. I tried this, and it did not generate any errors, but it also kept my report groups from displaying
-- it just showed a blank report, so I think it probably wasn't bringing back any rows to populate them with.
I also tried going into the Expression section for the SchoolDaysActiveWeek parameter in the second screenshot and placing the statement there. When I did this and ran the report, I would get the following error:
The 'SchoolDaysActiveWeek' parameter is missing a value
So what am I missing!?

I've read a couple of threads for uploading a file with MultipartRequest or some other Apache tools, but as well as I understood, I need the HttpServletRequest request object from Servlet API. How could I upload a file without using the Servlet API, only with java.net.* classes and headers?
I have a Swing application that connects to a file hosting site written in PHP. The site has a form with a fileUpload control and a submit button. On submit, user is redirected to another page with link to the hosted site. I need to automate the process and repeatedly host multiple files. Is there an easy way to manually write a POST query or use any other jse tool?

How to pass a result set as an output parameter

I have a function that will be used as a web service. It invokes a stored procedure - ideally I'd like to pass the result set from the SP out as a result set to the client consuming the web service. Is this do-able or am I in dreamland?

What you typically do is iterate thru the RS, turning each row of data into a business object and adding all the business objects to a list or some other collection. Then close the result set. Return that collection of business objects to the client.

but u can full fill user requirement using oracle forms
