How to pass Dataset to Oracle Procedue from C#

Hi.
Im using oracle 9i database,i want 2 send data collection(Dataset or XML) by once to the oracle stored procedure.
i tried using RefCursors,but it doesnt work on 9i.is there any way to do this ?
can any one give me a help ?

I create a report use Oracle Report, and the file name is "Account.rdf"
This report have a start date parameter and a end date parameter. I put this
report to the report server, and then add a new entry to the cgicmd.dat file,
so i enter the URL into IE and pass the start date and end date parameters to
the report.
And now, i want to put this report into portal, but how can i config the
start date parameter and the end date parameter?? i want provide a interface
to the end-user, so user can select which date he want to display. It is

How to pass values to Oracle store procedure in Crystal Report

Hi all,
I am newbie on passing values to stored procedure parameters. I created a Crystal Report using the Crystal Report wiward with PULL method and data come from Oracle stored procedure. In an ASP.NET page, I have stored two values in Session and need to pass them as input parameters to Oracle stored procedure to print the report. In Crystal reports 2010 once you connect to a stored-procedure as data source, it automatically creates the parameter fields with Crytal Report Viewer. Please show me how I pass values to store procedure at runtime automatically.

I tried to apply above codes from Brian Bischof book but display the error from the following lines:

I put a break point to debug but display the error at the following lines:

Eventhough, if I set a specific value to Course=1000 and Class = math and still receive the error:
Invalid index. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x8002000B (DISP_E_BADINDEX))

How to pass back results of gATP from APO to R/3

Dear all,
we're currently working on a gATP implementation and face following open challenges for which we kindly ask you for your valuable support:
1.) We need to pass back the allocated CVC of the gATP (product allocation) check from APO to z-append fields of VBAP. In order to do that we implemented additional field catalog fields which are updated in one of the product allocation userexits on APO side. Using an enhancement of form MVERF_PRUEFEN in SAPFV45V the data which is passed back from APO to R/3 via field_catalog can be written into the respective VBAP fields. ONLY: this doesn't work for a "complete delivery only" customer/order as MVERF_PRUEFEN is not called in such a case.
---> Do you have any proposals where/how to implement the functionality to write back the results passed back by APO into VBAP fields?
2.) In case of incomplete confirmation (not enough qty) the "APO Product Availability Overview" screen appears. We do not want to show this screen in APO to our users. There should be just a warning message but not this full screen. Do you have any ideas how to turn off the screen (similar to what happens if the order is posted in background)

thanks for your reply.
We actually use the functionality you described already for passing the required additional information from R/3 to APO. What we're currently searching, is a solution to pass back results (such as the allocated CVC or additional information from APO) from APO back to R/3 and store it there in VBAP-appends.

I am creating an Inbound Outbound ALV report in ABAP Web Dynpro. However at selection-screen I have select options and fetching is done at view2. Problem is we can pass parameter using inbound outbound parameters but how to pass internal table or field-symbols from one view to another view? I made use of Assistance Class too but its not very clear to me. Please give me some example or code to sort this problem out.

How to pass the page item data from tabA to TabB of a discoverer report

I have a discoverer repoort, it is master_detail (Dept-Emp) report
TabA is a master worksheet, which has a page item Deptno
(the data is from a customized query)
TabB is detail report which has a Deptno as the page item
which show the emp detail info on this deptno
(the date is from another customized query).
What I want to do is;
When I change the Deptno in TabA, TabB should automatically change to the deptno of Tab A when I click TabB.
How can I pass the page item deptno from TabA to page item of TabB?

Hi.
You are absolutely right, you cannot create a link from Page Item.
My Idea was (and I'm sorry taht I didn't mention it at the beginning) to create one link for each and every column in the report in the TabA.
All these links would be exactly same and pass the Deptno to the TabB.
So the end user can click wherever he wants (all cells on the worksheets have the link to the TabB) and he is always redirected to the TabB with the Department parameter seted to Deptno Page Item from TabA.
As I already said before, it is not exactly what you expected, but it's probably the best you can get out of Plus.

i am able to change the session variable and able to call the dashboard from external app, but i identified prompt value not changing. but Finally i am able to found a workaround for you.
Use the following URL and it explained here

PortalPath is your dashboard location. /shared/abcd is folder where i saved dashboards. dash1 is my dashboard name.
internally this dashboard includes many reports that uses the session variable. after doing above this i am able to update the session variable to the value i have given in URL, DSN=value.
You may observer here that calls the dashboard and passes the value but its not updating the prompt value. so workaround for this is edit your prompt,
change the Default to - SQL Results and place the sql
SELECT CASE WHEN 1=0 THEN Markets.Region ELSE VALUEOF(NQ_SESSION.DSN) END saw_0 FROM Paint
again here Market.Region is column from presentation layer and Paint is subject area. After doing this step, your prompt always shows value in the session varible as default.
Now include reports and dashboard prompt in the dashboard and run this url from external applicaitons.

How to pass on variables while redirecting from BSP to HTML page.

I have two BSP pages - BSP1, BSP2. When I click a submit button on BSP1, it should call BSP2 wherein BSP2 will work silently behind the scenes and redirect some variable values through hidden form fields to BSP1 back.
User will not see BSP2 in fact. He just deals with BSP1, but when he clicks the submit button on BSP1, it silently calls BSP2, and then BSP2 will process something behind the scenes and sends back values through hidden form fields to BSP1 by means of redirection. After redirection from BSP2 to BSP1, I am not getting the hidden fields in BSP1. From the BSP1, I am trying to get the hidden fields of BSP1 using:

Hi,
There are different ways to do it, but let's pick this one. It closes the popup. If you need additional things to be done, you can make a form with all hidden fields, submit that form, do the same close and do whatever you need in the inputprocessing

How can I access the Oracle CEP from the a simple java code

I want to access the current values in coherence cache and show those in a screen. So for that I want to create a java class which can access the Coherence cache of the CEP application and get the current values in the Cache.
Do anyone had any sample code for this, or any idea how to do this.

As mentioned, you can use Spring to pass a reference to your cache to an event bean as shown below.
Once you have a reference to the cache you can use whatever Coherence APIs you need.
For example: get an object based on the key, perform an invoke, or a query to get the values that you want to display.

How to pass a cluster of data from one VI to another

Hi all,
I've got a cluster of controls on my main application VI that I am using to accept data of various types from the user.Next I want to pass this cluster to the input cluster control of another VI perfectly on the generation of a user event. That is, if I have 3 numbers, 2 strings and 2 time stamps in the cluster on the main VI, I want to pass on that exact same data to the control input cluster of the second VI in the same sequence, having the same values.
How do I do this?
Here is a snapshot showing the cluster controls on my main VI and the code for my second VI.
I want to pass the data into the input cluster 'data'. I tried calling the second VI into my main VI and directly hardwiring the cluster and then using an 'Unbundle by Name function' to separate the data, as shown. But this doesn't seem to work properly.

The 2 clusters much be identical, then it should work smoothly. To ensure that they are, make a type-def of the cluster and use for both. From what i can see of your code it's clean and correct and it really shouldn't cause a hassle. What's (not) happening?

Hi,
Create a new container with type I and set the initial value as 1. EX : Index.
Pass your Multi-line container and this index container to a new method. Get the multi line container data's into an internal table
and read the data based on the index and append the data's to a new multiline container.
Second time increment the index container by 1. So now the value of index container will be 2.
Pass the multiline container value and index to method. now it will read the second record from the internal table.
Call the method using the loop step type.

How to insert data into Oracle db from MySQL db through PHP?

I want to insert my MySQL data into Oracle database through PHP.
I can access Mysql database using mysql_conect() & Oracle database using oci_connect() through PHP.
Now How can I insert my data which is in MySQL into Oracle table. Both table structure are exactly same.
So I can use
insert into Oracle_Table(Oracle_columns....) values(Select * from MySQL_Table);
But again problem is I can't open both connections at the same time.
So has anyone done this before or anyone having any other idea..

You can do it if you setup a ODBC Gateway between MYSQL and Oracle DB. Then you can directly read from MySQL table using DB links and insert into Oracle table in one single SQL Statement.
Otherwise you need to fetch the data from MySQL Into variables in your PHP Program and then insert into Oracle after binding the variables to the insert statement for Oracle. Hope that is clear enough.

How to pass ARRAY to Oracle Procedure

We are using BC4J with JSP in our project. We need to send an Array to the procedure.
Could somebody provide some info as how this can be achieved.

A while back, I used a SQLJ client to call a Java (also SQLJ) stored procedure and I needed to pass an array of strings to the procedure. I did something like this:
Java Class that was loaded in DB:
