How to pass dynamic params to Transaction iView from webdynpro java app

Hi Experts,
I am trying to call a transaction iview in PCD from my Dynpro application with a dynamic param.
Can somebody help me generating the URL for transaction iView and passing the dynamic params???

We can include URL parameters in a portal URL that calls a Web Dynpro page and these parameters can be forwarded to the otehr iVIews on the page.

Has anybody created Iview from "Webdynpro Java" component in CE7.1 ?

Hi All,
Has anyone created Iview from Webdynpro Java component in CE7.1.
Because the wizard that appears for creation of Iview has only "Webdynpro ABAP"
component.There is no option to create iview from "Webdynpro Java" component.
Althought in portal content--->Template folder i can see there is also
another template for "SAP Webdynpro iview" which i think is for the Java scenario.
But issue is, its not coming in the wizard.Can anyone tell me how to make it appear in the wizard ? It will be of great help to me.

Hi Ashis,
your deployed webdynpros are published under "web dynpro applications". just copy the webdynpro from there and paste it into the portal content section.

Trying to opn SAP Transaction IView from Webdynpro

Hi Friends,
I need to open a SAP Trancation Iview from Webdynpro (on click of some button) and pass some values to the screen fields,
I am using the code below(which I found in many threads):

I mean not even a blank screen gets opened.
I am not even getting any error/exception.

(L.H.S is the screen field name)
then I got following exception at portal:

Calling a Report/Transaction iview from Webdynpro..

Hi all,
          Our first issue is we have a scenareio, where we need to execute reports(ABAP Program) from webdynpro. Is it possibile to execute a standard report from webdynpro? using JCO. Also tell me how to pass the input/output parameters.I am not allowed to create RFC.I can use only standard BAPI.
          Our second issue is we created one transaction type callable object, and we want to call this transaction callable object from webdynpro, in another callable object in GP. Is this Possibile in webdynpro. We tried using portal navigation, but it is working for normal webdynpro iviews only, not for url iviews also.
          Does any body know the answer for the above issues. please let us know.

1) it is not possible in web dynpro to call abap reports, what you can do is creating wrapper of Remote enabled FM around the report. But you dont have authorisation to create BAPI, so gotta take use of standard BAPIs.

Passing Parameters via Post Method from Webdynpro Java to a web application

Hello Experts,
I want to pass few parameters from a web dynpro application to an external web application.
In order to achieve this, I am referring to the below thread:

As mentioned in the thread, I am trying to create an additional Suspend Plug parameter (besides 'Url' of type String) with name 'postParams' and of type Map.
But when I build my DC, I am getting the same error which most of the people in the thread have mentioned:
Controller XXXCompInterfaceView [Suspend]: Outbound plug (of type 'Suspend') 'Suspend' may have at most two parameters: 'Url' of type 'string' and 'postParams' of type 'Map'.
I am using SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio Version: 7.01.00
Kindly suggest if this is the NWDS version issue or is it something else that I am missing out.
Also, if it is the NWDS version issue please let me know the NWDS version that I can use to avoid this error.
Any other suggestion/alternative approach to pass the parameters via POST method from webdynpro java to an external web application apart from the one which is mentioned in the above thread is most welcome.

Hi,
This is purely a java approach, even you can try this for your requirement.
There are two types of http calls synchronous call or Asynchronous call. So you have to choose the way to pass parameters in post method based on the http call.
if it is synchronous means, collect all the values from users/parameters using UI element eg: form and pass all the values via form to the next page is nothing but your web application url.
If it is Asynchronous means, write a http client in java and integrate the same with your custom code and you can find an option for sending parameters in post method.

How to pass dynamic filename to Receiver JMS channel

Hi experts,
I want to pass the dynamic filename to receiver JMS message Properties.
for example
I am passing directory name via adapter module AF_Modules/DynamicConfigurationBean with key and value combination like below. How to pass dynamic filename value to a dynamic property ( say DCJMSMessageProperty1)
eg.
key.0 - >insert http://sap.com/xi/XI/System/JMS DCJMSMessageProperty0
value.0 - > testdirectory ( which is static value)
Note: Im have not created any ESR object . i just have to bypass the file to a jms queue. I have used AAE integrated configuration scenario ( file to jms )

Launching transaction iview frm webdynpro iview

Dear experts,
I am launching a transaction iview from a webdynpro iview. On click of button it launches the transaction:CV02N.
The screen variables are: DRAW-DOKNR and DRAW-DOKAR.
I am using absolute navigation.
the code is as below:

I can see the name value pair in the URL of the transaction iview which opens in the new window. But I just see the initial window of the transaction and I need to enter the parameters again to see the result.
Is there any way to see the result directly?

If you see attribute: "DRAW-DOKNR="docnos"&DRAW-DOKAR=DRW&OkCode=/00"
Here docnos is a string which takes value dynamically.Rest of the values are hardcoded.
When I launch the transaction iview, I can see the values being passed in the URL.

Passing dynamic parameter to stored procedure from CR formula?

I need to insert in some textboxes the right string based on the desired Language Code.
I crated a stored procedure in my db.
CREATE PROCEDURE MY_GET_TRANSLATION

This parameters are used as keys to get the Trans field.
I created a workshop formula: GetTranslation
Please, can someone suggest the correct statement to call my MY_GET_TRANSLATION stored procedure passing parameters?
I would like to call the GetTranslation formula from all my textboxes, passing the specific TextID value
and visualized the right translated string.
For example:
in my TEXT1 textbox, I would like to call the GetTranslation formula passing the parameters
TextID = "T000001"
and
LangCode = 13    (Italian language)

I'm trying to modify a SAP B1 CR marketing report.
This CR marketing document is called by SAP B1 automatically passing the Document Number and Document Type.
The report uses the right SAP B1 tables to read the information of the header and rows of the document.
The language of the document is contained in a field of the header table
{MyMarketingDocTable.LanguageID}
I created a user table named "MyTranslationTable" where I added some strings in different langiages.
For example:

T00001          Delivery                          8
T00001          Consegna                     13       (Italian translation)
T00002          Invoice                           8
T00002          Fattura                         13       (Italian translation)
In the header of the report I'd like, for example, to visualise the string "Consegna" if my document is a delivery in italian language.
I'd like to implement this method to translate all the textboxes (header, comments, etc.) based on the languageID of my document.
For each textboxes, in the CR designer statically I know what TextID I want to visualized but dinamically I need to pass to my stored procedure the right language. I'd like my report automatically gets the language at run-time. I don't want that when I press the Print-preview button in SAP B1, the report asks to prompt the languageID.
It already read the DocNum and DocType and it already filter the SAP B1 tables basing on the DocNum and DocType of the document. In this way it reads the right row in the SAP B1 table and in this way I can read all the fields of this row (also the languageID of the actual document).

Embedding Transaction IView into Webdynpro TabStrip

Hi,
My Requirement is ,I have Created Transaction IView ,I want to access the Transaction Iview into Webdynpro TabStrip. I am able to access Iview but it is overwriting existing screen i..e complete Webdynpro screen disappears only Transaction Iview displays. I want Transaction Iview to be displayed as part of the TabStrip.

I am having a similar kind of requirement , i have to navigate from webdynpro applicaiton to transaction iview ..once user is done with the transaction ( say maintained the material ) i have to come back to the previous screen ... but i think this is not possible as there will be no way to know that user is done with the transaction .. so i though of creating a Iframe and a button on a webdynpro view and link the Iframe to the transaction iview . so user will have to click on the button once he is done with the transaction .. but according to you .. the transaction will be locked if we link that to the Iframe .. please let me know how to resolve this pronblem. or is there any other solution to my problem ..

i 'm doing what exactly you mention here .
my problem here is
i have 15 columns
i am executing a query based on the values of the column(column name) in the target page
1)here i am passing(all) the column values to the next page-but i want to pass only one column values(column name)
when i click on any cell of that column
OR
2)i can pass all column name to target page -there(in the target page) i can filter out
i think option 1 would good if you filter out the unwanted columns
