How to pass tables in Guided Procedures from VC

Hi experts!
I'am working in a workflow scenario, more precisely an approve-reject workflow scenario.
I've defined all the start and the end points belonging to the respective iviews (I mean the sender and the approver iviews), following the  [Modeling Visual Composer iViews for Guided Procedures|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/en/44/429bbd709914bce10000000a155369/frameset.htm]
and everything works ok if I pass input fields, data fields, or boolean fields.
But I need to pass tables (In fact, I need to pass MORE THAN ONE table)....  Is that possible?
How do I make it?
Any help will be apprecieated and point-rewarded.
Thanks in advance
Best Regards,
Marcelo
P.S. I'm working on EP7 VC SP15

Hi,
If you'll create 2 iViews:
1. Table connected to end point (all the fields are mapped and table selection mode is multiple)
2. Table connected to start point with same fields.
and create GP process for it, you'll find that selecting all the fields and passing them will result with all the selected fields appear in the 2nd iView.
But, i don't know if you can pass the entire table automatically (without the user selecting all the records).
Hope I helped,
Shay

  • Pass table name to procedure

    hi
Can any one plz suggest me , how to pass
table name (that would be varchar) to a procedure, such that i
should be able to do DML and DDL on the table refered !!

EXECUTE IMMEDIATE executes the SQL statement held in a specified
VARCHAR2. So, with a bit of string concatenation, you can make
    the statement dynamic, thus:
    EXECUTE IMMEDIATE 'DELETE * FROM emp' ;
    could become:
    EXECUTE IMMEDIATE 'DELETE * FROM '||p_table_name ;
where p_table_name is a VARCHAR2 parameter passed into your
procedure. Check out the PL/SQL User's Guide and Reference,
    chapter 10, for full details.

    Hi Prabhu,
Since it is a Custom Fm i cant see it in my system.
Look if u want to bring data in internal table then there could be two ways::
    1) your FM should contain itab in CHANGING option , so that u can have internal table of same type and pass through FM,
    2) read values one by one and append to internal table.
    Thanks

  • How to import tables, indexes, tablespace, etc from a DMP.

    Hello,
I like to know how to import tables, indexes, tablespace, etc from an DMP export of a Oracle 10.2.0.1 to be apply on a Oracle 11.2.0. When I import the DMP file all the data is going to one single Tablespace, for example, Users tablespace.
On the original database we have various tablespace's each separated with different content (tables, indexes) and I like to know if it posible to import the same schema, tables, indexes, tablespace all made with one single DMP Export. I can't use DBUA because the software of the database on the 10.2 is missing, I have only a DMP file (24GB) of DMP!.
    Thanks for the reply,
    Sorry for my english :).
    Regards.

thanks for that but is not what Im looking for.
Look, on my ORCL directory of the oracle 10.2 I have for example this:
    CONTROL01.CTL
    EXAMPLE01.DBF
    REDO01-1.LOG
    REDO01.LOG
    REDO02-2.LOG
    REDO02.LOG
    REDO03-3.LOG
    REDO03.LOG
    RMAN.DBF
    SYSAUX01.DBF
    SYSTEM01.DBF
    TEMP01.DBF
    UNDOTBS01.DBF
    USERS01.DBF
    TABLESPACE1.ORA
    TABLESPACE2.ORA
    TABLESPACE3.ORA
    TABLESPACE4.ORA
    TABLESPACE5.ORA
I make a full export to a DMP. Then in my 11.2 version first I created the user then when import the DMP file none of the tablespace (TABLESPACE1, TABLESPACE2, ETC...) is created, all is going to the USERS tablespace, SO, im looking a way to tell imp command that generates the exactly tablespace structure that i was have on the 10.2.
Hope this can explain more my problem.
    Thanks again!.

  • How to pass tables data from SAP script to the routine.

    Hi,
I have standard program RPCTEAL0_01 which calls a SAP script form(Custom) to print the form.
Now I have to add some additional functionality to change the values in the form. Since it is custom form I can add ROUTINE and then pass the values to the custom program to modify the variables.
My concern here, I would like to pass the tables like RT,CRT to the custom program via form.
Is this possible?  RT and CRT filled by standard progam.

Hi, The suggested option is not working.
Actually I am using the below code in SCRIPT
    /:   PERFORM CAL_2008 IN PROGRAM ZHR_TEST1
    /:   USING &PER_NO&
    /:   CHANGING &W12&
    /:   ENDPERFORM
and calling form in ZHR_TEST1. But this will pass only variables. Now my requirement is to pass tables also.

  • Memory leak problem while passing Object to stored procedure from C++ code

    Hi,
I am facing memory leak problem while passing object to oracle stored procedure from C++ code. Here I am writing brief description of the code :

    2) generated C++ classes corresponding to oracle objects with the help of OTT utility.
    3) Instantiating classes in C++ code and assigning values.
    4) calling oracle stored procedure and setting object in statement with the help of setObject function.
    5) deleted objects.
this is all I am doing ,and getting memory leak , if you need the sample code then please write your e-mail id , so that I can attach files in reply.

  • Start Guided Procedures from WebFlow

    Hi again!
Now we maybe found a way to start a Guided Procedures Process from SAP WebFlow. But then we encountered another problem.
To transfer parameters from SAP WebFlow via container-elements to the GP the SAP WebFlow parameters have to be equal with the technical parameters of Guided Procedures.
The problem is that Guided Procedures assigns the technical parameters automatically and adds a point and the number of the parameter.
The idea behind should be to differ parameters with the same name.
    For example:
    AUFNR = AUFNR.1
another parameter with the same name gets the technical name
    AUFNR = AUFNR.2
But SAP WebFlow, especially ABAP, interprets a point as the end of a statement.
So you can not use elements in your container with a point (AUFNR.1)
    My question.
Is it possible to affect the automatic allocation of a technical name of a parameter in Guided Procedures to avoid the point in that parameter?
I hope that there is someone who can help me.
It would be absurd if the parameter passing would fail solely because the technical names of GP-parameters contain a point.
Thanks for answers of every description

  • How to call a PL/SQL procedure from a Java class?

    Hi,
I am new to the E-BusinessSuite and I want to develop a Portal with Java Portlets which display and write data from some E-Business databases (e.g. Customer Relationship Management or Human Resource). These data have been defined in the TCA (Trading Community Architecture) data model. I can access this data with PL/SQL API's. The next problem is how to get the data in the Java class. So, how do you call a PL/SQL procedure from a Java program?
Can anyone let me know how to solve that problem?

  • How to pass back results of gATP from APO to R/3

    Dear all,
we're currently working on a gATP implementation and face following open challenges for which we kindly ask you for your valuable support:
1.) We need to pass back the allocated CVC of the gATP (product allocation) check from APO to z-append fields of VBAP. In order to do that we implemented additional field catalog fields which are updated in one of the product allocation userexits on APO side. Using an enhancement of form MVERF_PRUEFEN in SAPFV45V the data which is passed back from APO to R/3 via field_catalog can be written into the respective VBAP fields. ONLY: this doesn't work for a "complete delivery only" customer/order as MVERF_PRUEFEN is not called in such a case.
---> Do you have any proposals where/how to implement the functionality to write back the results passed back by APO into VBAP fields?
2.) In case of incomplete confirmation (not enough qty) the "APO Product Availability Overview" screen appears. We do not want to show this screen in APO to our users. There should be just a warning message but not this full screen. Do you have any ideas how to turn off the screen (similar to what happens if the order is posted in background)
Thanks again for your great input and help!
    M.

    Dear Mohan,
    thanks for your reply.
We actually use the functionality you described already for passing the required additional information from R/3 to APO. What we're currently searching, is a solution to pass back results (such as the allocated CVC or additional information from APO) from APO back to R/3 and store it there in VBAP-appends.
    Thanks,
