How to perfectly align a texture on the skeleton

Dear all,
I need to build a prototype for a Customer in retail sector using the Kinect.
The idea is to select for instance a Jean or a tee shirt from a list and the the selected object should fit on top of the camera view picture of the user.
Any sample or guide line how to do this ?
How to manage also the fact that a shirt object need to be stretch or resize depending of teh size of the person ?

What you want to do is quite complex and it is the kind of thing people are trying to make money with so I don't think you will find an open sample. I don't think you will find detailed help in the forum either.
You could use some Body info (for example distance between chest and hips) to scale a t-shirth and just draw it over the color frames. If you watched jump start video, there is one in which a red circle is drawn over the face of the user, it should be similar.
Image segmentation is a common process in computer vision (search in google if you want an overview). Basically, you divide your image in pieces to analyze it. I suppose you could use depth frames to build a "front" 3D model of the body and fit
the clothes over it.

That is perfectly aligned, the "space" is in the make up of the font glyph. If you want to create your own font where each character is the exact same widht as each other, then feel free to do so (I for one wouldn't want to use it).

How to accurately align multiple cameras in the workspace.

The video I am currently working on requires me to have two cips running simultaniously on screen. I have already resized them, and completed editing the film, but due to the fact that I cannot seem to find any rulers or grid (a la photoshop) to accurently align them to, they seem to be misaligned when I render or export the project. (See below photo).
Does anyone have any suggestions? I may very well just be not seeing an obvious 'Show Grid' or 'Show Ruler' option, but I cannot seem to find any, nor any way to fine tune and accurately resize clips in the way I am trying to.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You can make a horizontal line to act as a ruler in the Titler.
You can use the Grid effect on an Adjustment Layer to use as an guide.
You can also check the horizontal property in the Effect Controls if the are the same, as well as for the scale. Assuming the cut is dead center.
You can adjust the Safe Margins in the Project Settings to use that as a guide.

I am using JOptionPane in my code.
I want all the default buttons that are created by any of the JOptionPane methods (e.g. JOptionPane.showMessageDialog()) be right aligned. Currently all the buttons are shown center aligned.
Here is the only code that I have to display the dialog:

As Tom states, that's interlacing.
Interlacing was invented when the TV was born, to carry 1/5 the frame with each Hz of the electricity rating. In the US, that's why you use 30 fps (or 29.nnn) in the US and we use 25 fps in europe as the electricity is 60Hz/50Hz.
Interlaced video should ONLY (I repeat ONLY) be used for analog TV signal transports.
Each and every digital TV set today, including all the computer screens, is Progressive, updating the full frame at each screen refresh. And most TV's even refresh much quicker, newest TV's refresh a 800Hz..! (giving then problems with the newest LTE spectums..)
If your source media in interlaced, ask why! And stop shooting interlaced.. ;-)
If you have interlaced video, make sure you apply the DeInterlace setting when you import and transcode it.

If I use the function to align adjacent fields, or the function to match size, duplicate fields are created. How can I get this to stop?

I have a form that consists of columns and rows of fillable fields. When I use the edit function to make the height of the fields the same, or make the widths of the different columns of fields the same, or align the fields vertically or horizontally, duplicate fields are created. If these fields have a box around them, all of the duplicate fields' boxes are shown. The field names have the same base name, but have a suffix that is sequentially numbered. If I delete the "lower" numbered suffix names (with the same base name), the resulting field does not appear on the form.
What is going on with the alignment or size process. I do use the CTRL-Click function to select the group of fields I am trying to size or align. If using the selection of multiple fields should be done differently, how can it be done?

No. That's not what's happening. The duplicate fields are ONLY created after I employ the alignment or sizing functions. Weird.
I was hoping that this was the result of some kind of setting in Acrobat, or that the duplicate fields would disappear when saving the form, but that's not what happened.

How can I align a text object by the visible text and NOT by its bounding box?

Illustrator CS4.
I am trying to align some text to the center of the artboard. The bounding box is bigger than the text, so when I try to align it to the artboard it doesn't actually center align the artwork as I need it to. The text is needing to be aligned with another text object, so I can't just center align the text and then align to the artboard (which would eliminate the bounding box problem, I think). To make matters worse, the text I want to align has a stroke.
The only way I know to currently align the text properly is to convert it to outlines. This is what I've done, but I need something better. I want to be able to have my illustrator file that has all editable text and then be able to make a separate identical file with all text converted to outlined paths. The only thing holding me back right now is that I can't get the exact alignment while everything is still as text.

The solution is to simple to believe and probably why you over looked it.
You make two text frames to exactly the height and width of the text. You position the text in the relative location and then group the text frames then center that group on the artboard.
Like such:
If you ever want to add text that should be no problem but you have to re center.

But here is my problem how can i align Title(DCS Clinical Report-Technician wise) center of pdf report with image named:logo5.png immediately coming to it's right?.

I’m sorry for the issue that you are hitting now.
This itextsharp is third party control, for this issue, I recommended to consult the control provider directly, I think they can give more precise troubleshooting.

You will find a script, and a video that explains how to use it.
If you want to do it yourself, crate an action where you will use the layer>align>... Menu entries to place your signature where you want it.

How can I align multiple titles in Premiere Pro?

We are working on a video (obviously) and we have a bullet list that we'd like to come up as the speaker is naming off specific items. So far we have created a separate title for each bullet point, so that we can control when the bullets fade in. The issue we're having is that we have to eyeball the alignment right now and it's not always accurate. So i'm looking for some help. How can I select multiple titles in the timeline and right align them - OR - is there a way to have all of these bullet points in one title and still maintain control of when they fade in and out?

This technique will only work with current versions of PPro - it looks harder to do than it actually is:
Create the title with all the bullet points, aligned as you wish, in the Title Tool.
Exit the title tool, the title you just created will appear in your project.
Click on the title to select it (if it is not already selected) and then go to the menu Edit > Duplicate.
Repeat the duplication process to make as many copies as number of bullet points you want to transition on.
Place the first copy of the title where you want the Title to appear in your video.
Double click on the clip of the title on the timeline to re-open the Title Tool. Delete all the text except the first line.
Now place the second copy where you want it to appear in the video.
Double click on it to re-enter the Title Tool, and delete all the text except the first two lines.
Repeat this process for as many bullet points as you have, delating one fewer bullet point each time. You can add transitions at the cut points between the titles (such as a dissolve) to make the next bullet point appear as you wish.
If you try to to this using an early version of PPro this will not work as the titles and its copies are linked - so if you change one of the copies, it changes all the other titles. Fortunately this has been fixed in the current version.

How do I rename a photo in the iphoto folder?

OK, so I know that you can change the name of a photo while in iphoto by simply pressing the "i" button at the bottom left, but that doesn't change the actual name of the file.
And I know that I can do that by going to Share-Export-Use Title and then put it in the same file that the original picture is in.
My question is....if you do that, then you have two of the same pictures in the same folder (one with the name you gave it and one with a name the computer gave it...some IMG_0812.JPG name), so after I've done this, can I delete the original picture with the numbered name so that I only have the picture with the name I gave it to reduce clutter?

That depends on how you "put" the renamed export into the "same file." You can Import it into your iPhoto library. If you use the Finder or a Save dialog to save directly into the iPhoto Library folder then this photo will not be recognized by the database.

If you imported the renamed Export properly, and now see both versions of the photo in the library (within the iPhoto application), then yes, you can place the first version in the iPhoto Trash, then Empty iPhoto Trash. Absolutely do not do any of this from within the Finder.

Don't root around inside the iPhoto Library folder to find your photos for attachments or uploading.
Why: iPhoto is a database application, not a file browser. You aren't supposed to go inside the iPhoto Library folder at all. See this from the iPhoto Help, under "About using the iPhoto Library":
"IMPORTANT: There is also an "iPhoto Library" folder located in the Pictures folder in your home folder, outside the iPhoto application. If you move, delete, rename, or otherwise touch files or folders within this folder, you may be unable to see your pictures in the iPhoto application.
"The files within this folder should only be manipulated by a customer care representative."
To access your photos, use iPhoto. They are perfectly organized and easy to find, with all of iPhoto's tools at your service. No need to remember the date you took the picture. When you need to upload or attach your photos, select them in iPhoto and do a Share > Export to a Desktop folder. Attach or upload from that folder, then trash it when you are finished.
If you absolutely want to rename your photos it's best to do this before importing into iPhoto. You can use Image Capture (look in your Applications folder) to upload from your camera to a Desktop folder. Use the Finder to preview and rename the files to your liking. Name the folder the way you want the Film Roll to be named in iPhoto. Import the folder into iPhoto, and then delete the one on your Desktop.
But do learn to keep out of the iPhoto Library folder when you are in the Finder. Tampering inside that folder causes much of the damage that I see people coming here to try to repair. Once your photos are inside the iPhoto library, it's best to use iPhoto to do what you want with them.

it is very nice that you post a solution to complete the library with artwork for album's that do not have an artwork. Your solution perfectly addresses the problem for assigning artwork, BUT this thread is about CHANGING artwork for albums already uploaded into iTunes Match. Just try to replace for example a blue artwork cover for an album with a red one. If you made it in a simple way (without deleting the album from iTunes Match and local changes on the files with an external ID3-Application or 2 or more iTunes libraries on different Mac's) this is the right place to give a solution. I really tried for hours to change the artwork to make them visible in landscape cover flow mode on my iPhone5. In rare cases I made it, but then the covers sometimes where restored to the old onces - exacly how it is mentioned by Starhawk
As long as there is no simple way to change the cover of an iTunes Match stored album (you can change title, artist and so on without hitting "update iTunes Match" over all distributed Library on different devices - this date will be synchronized almost instantly) I considered the behaviour from iTunes as BUGGY! For me the local artwork cache (and if there is any iCloud artwork cache - I don't know) do not interfere with iCloud. Even when I delete the whole local cache (album artwork music - everything) I do not manage to change the artwork.

You'll get better performance if you use a Firewire hard drive (especially if you buy a 7200 RPM drive). Firewire's IO speed is significantly faster than USB 2. USB 2 has a theoretical max speed of 480 Mbps except that it has extremely high over-head. The fastest speeds you can typically get are about 300 Mbps. Firewire, on the other hand, has very little overhead. The fastest speeds you can get are very nearly 800 Mbps. You will typically be constrained by the maximum read/write speed of the drive, not the speed of the I/O on the Firewire bus. Now if you had one of those nice shiny new Macs with the Thunderbolt I/O and a Thunderbolt drive (Light Peak) ... I think they alter space and time so that your data arrives before you know you want it.
Also... unless you want to buy a solid state drive (very expensive), try to keep your hard drives from becoming much more than about 60% full if you want great performance. A nearly "full" hard drive is, on average, only about half as fast as the same hard drive when nearly empty.
USB 2 will work perfectly fine... just not as fast.
Also... it's much safer to move the entire Aperture library than to "relocate masters". Your images must be managed. You can Aperture manage them, or you can manage them. But someone has to manage them. If you "relocate" them so that they are no longer stored inside the Aperture library then you'll need to work out a system of how you decide to organize things and it's critically important that you don't start moving files around or deleting things without Aperture's knowledge. If you do, you'll break the links to your masters and start having problems with missing masters. If you have Aperture manage the library then you don't need to worry about any of that stuff.... it's safer.
Do make backups (use the Aperture Vault or use some other backup program, but make sure you back up your work if you care about it.) There are only two kinds of hard drives in the world: (1) those that have failed and (2) those that are going to fail. There are no exceptions to this rule. Hard drives are cheap. Backup software is built into Aperture and into your Mac.
