How to play midi and update graphics at the same time?

hello
I want to begin playing a midi file and then immediately while the music is still playing I want to update the screen, for ex. panel.update();It now seems that that whole screen freezes until the music has finished. How can I simultaneously update UI and play midi. Please help. Thanx!

You can use the Update Record ZerverBehavrior and then have
it redirect to
the detailpage.

Running Integrated and Dedicated Graphics At The Same Time

Hey all, I know this question has been asked before, but I haven't found an answer particularly pertaining to my situation.
First of all, I have an HP Compaq Elite 8300 with an Intel i5-3470, integrated graphics (DisplayPort and VGA.) I also have a dedicated GPU (Nvidia GeForce 7300 LE.) I enabled the integrated graphics in the BIOS to use both the integrated graphics and the dedicated graphics at the same time.
Now, I have one monitor plugged into the integrated graphics, as I set that as the primary GPU. Whenever I plug a monitor into the 7300, both screens go blank and nothing shows up. As a matter of fact, on start-up once, I had all four monitors plugged in and all that happened was that every monitor stayed blank and blinked every few seconds. Any ideas on what to do?

When the BIOS detects a discrete graphics card the integrated graphics processor will be disabled. HP normally placed black covers over the motherboard video ports marked do not remove when a discrete graphics card is shipped with the PC. Trying to run both is probably confusing the BIOS in your PC.
Not all PCs containing the Intel i5-3470 will have an enabled graphics processor.

[SOLVED] How to use timidity++ and other programs at the same time?

I have installed timidity following arch wiki instructions - I have soundfont, and I start it in /etc/rc.conf
It works properly with tuxguitar (and tuxguitar-alsa) or kmid, but I cannot play MIDI and - for example - oggs in amarok at the same time.
I suspect that the problem is that timidity doesn't use dmix alsa plugin I have made in my ~/.asoundrc.
The question is: how to tell timidity to use my dmix plugin?

Win 8 - How to use StereoMix and Headphones Mic at the same time?

I am using Windows 8 64 bit and believe I may have an IDT driver problem.
I need to enable StereoMix and my Headphones Mic at the same time. I know this was previously possible with windows xp and windows 7.
What happens is If I enable either Headphones Mic (Logitech headphones with Mic) or StereoMix the other one becomes " current;ly unavailable" I cannot get them both to work together. I can get StereoMix and the Internal Mic to work together ( both enabled at the same time) but the sound quality is bad because the internal mic picks up noises from the PC. I need to have both my headphones mic and stereo mix enabled at the same time.
The driver I'm using is the one provided by HP with the laptop. It is called sp59620.exe
Would another IDT driver solve the problem? Can you think of another reason this is not working?

I have tried the instructions in that video and I cant get passed the very bad feedback i get when telling my recording device to Listen. His secone instruction from his notes here
["Right Click the Realtech HD audio device and set as default if its not already.
(note you may want to turn off any powered speakers you may have to prevent feedback.)
-Select the Recording Tab at the top of the window.
-Select the Stereo Mix device and set it to default if its not already.
-Right click and select Properties.
-Select the Listen Tab at the top of the window.
-Change the drop-down box to the entry for USB headset and check the Listen to this device checkbox.
-click ok to dismiss the window.
-Right click on the USB headset microphone device and select properties.
-Select the Listen Tab at the top of the window.
-Change the drop-down box to the entry for the Realtech HD Audio device and check the Listen to this device checkbox.
-click ok to dismiss the window.
So, essentially, the game audio will play through the Realtec, your mic is also set to play to the Realtec. both audio streams are now part of Stereo Mix. Stereo Mix is being listened to by your headset allowing you to hear the game and your voice.]

Don't know about turning off any powered speakers.. the only speakers I have besides the headphones are the internal laptop speakers. I get the same feedback if i have the headphones plugged in or not.

How to play more than 2 audio at the same time in a page

I worked for interactivity book's page in Hype and I inserted two audio in a page
One is background music played when page opend, Other is effect audio that played when touch the object.
i added this widget in ibooks author.
In ibooks-author on mac, i can hear two sound well. but in ibooks on ipad i got the problem..
When i touch the object and play effect sound, background audio is stopped.
Moreover, after effect sound ended then bgm is not played.
i hope to hear two sound at the same time on ibooks, if not, play bgm continue after effect audio over.
plz answer this problem.. T.T

I got the same problems! I can't play multi audio at the same time. Would you mind letting me know the detail of how to deal with this problems.

How to have amounts and amounts splitted at the same time

Hi everybody, I need to show data as in the example (4 fields):
Product Category           Number of tickets by category               Product               Number of tickets by product
Category 1                              100                            product A                             50
                                                                       product B                              50
Category 2                               10                             product C                              8
                                                                       product D                               2As you can see I need to see the total of tickets for each product category, and then splitted by product.
In order to try to have this result, I take the following fields from the business area:
Product Category
count(tickets_id)
Product
but I'm not able to have the amount of tickets by category and the amount of tickets by product at the same time inside the report.....because as soon as I split by product I loose the total of tickets by Category.....
How can I have this two amounts together ? The first referred to the total of tickets by Category and the second splitted by product at the same time?
I tried to do a calculation count(count(tickets_id))....but it's not possible...I have the error "Nested Aggregated functions are not allowed"..
Any help will be appreciated

Is it possible to stream a movie to your TV via Apple TV as well as play music independently on your computer without interrupting the movie?
- I bought my Apple TV last week and connected Home Sharing on my windows computer, TV and my iPhone, iPad and iPod
- But when we were testing out playing a movie through the TV, I also tried to play a song from my iTunes on my computer, but it stopped the movie on the TV.

Yes.
Where are you starting the movie from, you need to start it on the Apple TV and start the music on your computer. You can't initiate multiple streams from the computer but multiple devices can initiate multiple streams when started from the device.
We have a number of Apple TV's and often watch and listen to different content on each at the same time.

Can't play DVD and use Spotlight at the same time.

I have been running in to all sorts of problems while playing a DVD. I have TV shows on DVD, so I watch them while I work. Everytime I have one playing and I open Spotlight to search for something my PB begins making this very loud noise. I don't know if it is my DVD player or something else, but as soon as I delete what is was I was searching for in Sportlight, it stops. It really bugs hearing this noise, because it sounds like something is wrong. If anybody can help, that would be great.

Oh sorry, perhaps I wasn't clear.
I have noticed that when you ask the optical drive to do one thing, it spins perfectly well and does what it is supposed to.
If however you ask it do a second thing while it is still doing the first, then the laser skips between the two jobs and sounds strange.
So... If you had a dvd or cd with 2 large files on it and
a) Selected BOTH files together and copied them to the desktop, the drive would spin fast and transfer the files.
b) Selected one file to copy and started the transfer to the desktop, THEN while the first was copying, selected a SECOND file from the DVD and started copying that, you would find the laser skipping between the two jobs.
I thought that if you do this, and it is the same as what happens when watching a dvd and using spotlight, then it could be that spotlight is indexing the dvd while it is playing and the drive is therefore trying to do two things at once.

My iPod is playing internal and external sound at the same time when my headphones are connected

Hi, I have an iPod nano, 16 GB, 5th gen, that I've had for almost five years. It has never given me any problems before, but today when I plugged in my headphones the sound played not only inside the headphones but through the iPod's external speaker. When I turn the volume up or down only the external sound goes up or down, the headphones still play music at the same volume. I tried connecting the iPod to other headphones, and inserted and removed the headphone jack from the iPod about 20 times, the only thing I haven't tried is restoring because I don't know if that would make any difference and I would like to avoid restoring if I can. Thank you for your time.

i have a problem. i used to be able to play music while play games such at warcraft and counter strike but when i installed the new intunes 7 i cannot do that anymore. the music is all distored and speeds up and slows down. as if the cd is scratched really bad. it is really frustrating. does anyone now how to fix this or is it unfixable?

i found a fix for WoW
Open the World of Warcraft folder on your hard drive (Default Folder: C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft).
- Open the *** folder.
- Open the Config.*** file using a text editor, like WordPad.
Add the following line to the list if it doesn't exist:
SET SoundOutputSystem "x"
Set "x" to be 1 first, if it still occurs bump it to 2 and so on up to 4.
you must restart WoW everytime you change the number.

The iPhone can maintain multiple pairing records, but it can only connect to one headset or hands-free device at a time. However, in your situation there may be a solution. You can connect the iPhone via Bluetooth for calls and use the 3.5mm jack on your iPhone and car radio to connect for music.

How do I make Organizer and Editor open at the same time?

I'm new to PSE 10 and want to know how to make Organizer and Editor open at the same time. I can get the Organizer up, but have to pick out a photo and click on Fix: Full Photo Edit to get Editor to open. Is that the only way to do it?

Create Desktop shortcuts for the Organizer and the Editor:
The Editor's executable is:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 10\PhotoshopElementsEditor.exe"
The Organizer's executable is:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Elements 10 Organizer\PhotoshopElementsOrganizer.exe"
