How to poll a blob using db adapter, with outer joins condition

Hi All,
We are trying to poll tables which contain column types as long and blob, we are using relationships in adapter and kept outer joins. by this we got select distinct t1.document .....etc
distinct keyword cannot be used for blobs.
is there any way to poll these tables having blob column types with outer joins.

Hi,
Procedure will be an explicit Invoke not Polling. If you can alter you design such that your BPEL process instead of polling gets triggered by some external entity (Java, PL/SQL, Scheduler, another BPEL etc.), you can put the data fetching logic in the procedure and call this procedure from your BPEL process to get the data. And your BPEL process is called periodically at an interval by an external entity.
Also see if you can restrict the duplicate records at the database level itself. Polling, AFAIK, is limited in terms of customization and wouldn't be easy to customize. However, would like to learn a way if someone has.

Hey Kishore,
In order to create a structure you need to use the file with convertion mode on the sending communication channel of the file adapter.
check the link for the needed configuration paramters.
If the structure is more complexed you can use the Contetnt master(CM) from itemfield which allows to ceate XML file from complex flat files and more.

Polling xml file using file adapter

Hi,
when i am polling xml file using file adapter, xml file received properly.
After receiving activity i am using assign activity to copy values to another variables, here i am getting error the values are not updated.
My xml comes with out namespace, when we put namespace then only values are updated.
What i need to do to update values.

after configuring the file adapter, define the interface of the BPEL using "based on the WSDL " option and select the wsdl of the file adapter , see whether it helps...

How to poll child records using Physical delete

Hi, could anyone please help me how to poll child records using the Physical delete polling strategy?I have one parent table and one child table with foreign key constraint with 'on delete cascade'. I understand that physical delete polling strategy does not poll child records and can be polled by configuring the toplink_mappings.xml. how to confure this file in order to poll the child records.
sample tables are:
student(stud_id,name,gender,age), stud_id beeing the primary key and
stud_marks(stud_id,exam,marks1,marks2,marks3), exam beeing the pk, and stud_id, the foreign key with on delete cascade.
I have set the property DeleteDetailRows="true" in the wsdl.
Getting a warning:

Simple solution is to run the query I have given for all child tables or to try a single query for all child tables withj something like:
select <parent_key>
from <parent_table>
where <parent_key> in
          (select <foreign_key_1> from <child_table_1> union
           select <foreign_key_2> from <child_table_2> union
           ... );More complicate solution could be to change the foreign key constraints to cascade DELETE on parent table to child tables:

I would like to know how to get the workcentres used in the routing out of 2 alternate routings.
I referred PLKO got the Task List Type (PLNTY), Group(PLNNR), Group Counter(PLNAL), Plant(werks).
I passed this in to PLPO, The problem in PLPO is we dont have the distinguishing field Group Counter(PLNAL), so I am getting all the ARBID including both alternates.
How to get the ARBID with respect to Groupcounter 1 alone.
If a get the ARBID , I can get the ARBPL from CRHD.

Use PLAS Table also. you have to use PLKO> PLAS> PLPO.
Pass PLNNR & PLNAL in PLAS and get PLNNR & PLNKN.
Then pass these into PLPO.

Problem with Send using JMS Adapter with Websphere MQ

Hi,
We have two scenarios using JMS Adapter with MQ:
1. File->PI->MQ
This works fine and drop the file in MQ correctly.
2. MQ->PI->File
This gives an error reading from the queue: (see highlighted in the log below). It correctly connects to the queue name. But it fails with the message "Could not begin a AF transaction".
Our PI version is 7.0 SP 13
Websphere MQ Version 6.0.
Any idea what could be wrong?

They are available and properly added to aii_af_jmsproviderlib.sda.
The drivers are:

These were installed per OSS note 747601.

If you want all the rows from goh, then you don't want any conditions like goh.OFFER_NO <> 0.
Make all the joins to goh outer joins, and make all conditions that apply to any tables joined to goh (or to tables joined to them) part of the join condition, like this:

If not, post a little sample data (CREATE TABLE and INSERT statements, relevant columns only) for all the tables involved, and the results you want from that data.
Simplify the problem as much as possible. For example, do you really need all those tables to show what the problem is? Of course, you need them in tyour real query, but if you understand a solution that only involves 4 or 5 tables, you'll know how to apply it to any number of tables.
Explain, using specific examples, how you get those results from that data.Always say what version of Oracle you're using (e.g. 11.2.0.2.0).

How to use NODIM func with out it's values being rounded

I created a new calculated key figure in Query Designer 3.x, and used the function NODIM() - Value with out dimensions. When I use this function, the values are rounding off to the nearest value.
For example, I have a value 0.000075 US$, when I use NODIM function the value is displayed as 0.000080. Value is getting rounded to nearest value.
I tried using absolute value it did not work.
Can any one tell me how to use NODIM function with out it's value being rounded to nearest value.

According to your description, you might want that "Notice" field has a default value when form is created and users can be able to change the value of that
field.
As a workaround, you can add an action rule in “Name” field via InfoPath to fill the default value in “Notice” field only when “Name” field is not blank and “Notice”
field is blank.

This procedure is a diagnostic test. It’s unlikely to solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
The purpose of the test is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party software that loads automatically at startup or login, or by a peripheral device.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards. Boot in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. Note: If FileVault is enabled, or if a firmware password is set, or if the boot volume is a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to boot and run than normal, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output andWi-Fi on certain iMacs. The next normal boot may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin. Sorry you have failed your interview question. Good thing you remembered it, thought about it, and ask a question about it. The solution is actually very straightforward.
Create a table to store the state of your progress. Before each step read the table to find out where left off, then skip each completed step. After each step write to the table which step you have completed. A step can be anything, a task, a component,
a row, an import file, an export file. You don't have to use a table, it could also be a file, just something you can read and write, and does not disappear when your package stops.
If you find this difficult to comprehend, think of a checklist of things you do everyday and work from there.
