How to populate a listbox with key in a table control

I have the following code:
MODULE carga_huecos INPUT.
DATA: BEGIN OF li_huecos OCCURS 0,
        key(40) TYPE c,
        text(80) TYPE c,
END OF li_huecos.
DATA: BEGIN OF estru_hueco OCCURS 0,
      hueco LIKE zmov_wm-hueco,
END OF estru_hueco.
CLEAR: li_huecos, estru_hueco.
REFRESH: li_huecos, estru_hueco.
SELECT lgpla
    FROM lagp
    INTO TABLE estru_hueco
  WHERE lgnum = 'WWM' AND
        lgtyp = i_zmov_wm-almacen.
  LOOP AT estru_hueco.
    li_huecos-key  = estru_hueco-hueco.
    li_huecos-text = estru_hueco-hueco.
    APPEND li_huecos.
    CLEAR li_huecos.
  ENDLOOP.
  CALL FUNCTION 'VRM_SET_VALUES'
    EXPORTING
      id              = 'I_ZMOV_WM-HUECO'
      values          = li_huecos[]
    EXCEPTIONS
      id_illegal_name = 1
      OTHERS          = 2.
  IF sy-subrc <> 0.
MESSAGE ID SY-MSGID TYPE SY-MSGTY NUMBER SY-MSGNO
        WITH SY-MSGV1 SY-MSGV2 SY-MSGV3 SY-MSGV4.
  ENDIF.
I see that internal table  li_huecos has the values I need. But vrm_set_values function is not working. I need this values to be seen in a table control field which I have defined as "listbox with key". The name of the internal table associated to the table control is "I_zmov_wm" and the field is HUECO.
After function is executed sy-subrc = 0 but no value is seen in the list.
Thanks.

hi ,
instead of this
LOOP AT estru_hueco.
li_huecos-key = estru_hueco-hueco.
li_huecos-text = estru_hueco-hueco.
APPEND li_huecos.
CLEAR li_huecos.
ENDLOOP.
CALL FUNCTION 'VRM_SET_VALUES'
EXPORTING
id = 'I_ZMOV_WM-HUECO'
values = li_huecos[]
EXCEPTIONS
id_illegal_name = 1
OTHERS = 2.
IF sy-subrc 0.
* MESSAGE ID SY-MSGID TYPE SY-MSGTY NUMBER SY-MSGNO
* WITH SY-MSGV1 SY-MSGV2 SY-MSGV3 SY-MSGV4.
ENDIF.
add this
data : name  type vrm_id  .
LOOP AT estru_hueco.
li_huecos-key = estru_hueco-hueco.
li_huecos-text = estru_hueco-hueco.
APPEND li_huecos.
CLEAR li_huecos.
ENDLOOP.
name  = 'I_ZMOV_WM-HUECO' .
CALL FUNCTION 'VRM_SET_VALUES'
EXPORTING
id =   name
values = li_huecos[]
EXCEPTIONS
id_illegal_name = 1
OTHERS = 2.
IF sy-subrc 0.
* MESSAGE ID SY-MSGID TYPE SY-MSGTY NUMBER SY-MSGNO
* WITH SY-MSGV1 SY-MSGV2 SY-MSGV3 SY-MSGV4.
ENDIF.

  • How to do the calculations with currency fields in table control?

    Hi everybody,
    Can anyone tell me how to do the calculations (arithmetical) with the currency fields which have been assigned for a table control fields? Actually they should be fetched from the database table and need to do some calculations and after that the same should get updated at the database level.
    Here, i am getting the short dump after doing the calculations and trying to display at the table control field itself.....
    Can anyone help me in this issue........
    Thank you very much.....in advance,
    Somu.

    Hi,
    Thanks to your replies all,
    But, even though the sign check box is checked in the SAP domain WRTV7, in my program it is not showing the negative sign at all...
    I am keep trying for all the options...
    But still it is not working out...
    My requirement is after fetching the data from the database i need to do calculations and save back same to the customized table field, for which the domain i have checked the sign and have done it also...
    I'd be highly thankful to you, if you can help me out...
    Thank you,
    Somu.

  • How to populate a page with images in across/down direction?

    Hi,
    Does anyone know how to populate a page with images in across and down direction (for example 6 X 6 )? It seems that I cannot use data table because records are only running downward and each row can have one record.
    Any suggestion would be appreciated. thanks.

    Alex,
    You can create your own tabular form using APEX_ITEM API's
    Create report and you can put similar code to following
    SELECT APEX_ITEM.TEXT(1,col1) pk1, APEX_ITEM.TEXT(2,col2) pk2 FROM your_tableSo data will be displayed in TEXT boxes as if it's a tabular form. Now you need to handle INSERT/UPDATE/DELETE processes manually. You can easily handle INSERT and DELETE. But handling UPDATE can be a nightmare. What if user has updated both the column values?
    Updated details
    One way out would be to use ROWID as Primary key to handle DELETE and UPDATE
    SELECT APEX_ITEM.CHECKBOX(1,ROWID) tick, APEX_ITEM.TEXT(2,col1) pk1, APEX_ITEM.TEXT(3,col2) pk2 FROM your_tablebut yet I suggest to go for proper primary key..

  • How to populate an array with random text files.

    I am making a Jeopardy program. I have my program set up so that it retrieves 5 random text files. I just want to know how I populate one array with all the lines from the text files my program is retrieving.

    You can read a textfile line by line and add each line to an ArrayList. An ArrayList is very much like an array only that it's "open ended". You can start adding lines without first knowing how many you're going to get. If you still want an ordinary "static" array when you're finished reading lines you can easily get one from the ArrayList and then drop the ArrayList.

  • How was created the cluster with keys in example: Sim Phone.vi

    Hello all
    I have LV 7.1.1
    I have found the example: Sim Phone.vi
    And I don't know how was created the cluster with keys?
    Best regards
    Iskander

    It's just like any other cluster you create. Put a cluster container on the front panel and insert some Booleans. the actual Booleans are on the classic controls palette. The border of the cluster is also colored transparent with the paintbrush on the Tools palette.

  • How to populate the LOV with warehouse item in Item Roles form

    Hi
    Any one please tell me can we populate the list of values for warehouse items in the item roles form, if so please let me know how to do it.
    Navigation
    Go to OPM Inventory Control
    Go to Workflow
    Go to Item Roles
    Opens a window Item Role Relation.
    When I click on the LOV tab of Warehouse Item, it says list of values contains no entries.
    Thanks in Advance
    Prem.

    This applies for Release 11 or before. (Not for R12)
    Warehouse items are the OPM Items. When you define new item there is field warehouse item and by default it gets populated with the same item name. You can manually changed it to previously defined item name.

  • For a READ TABLE how to build a dynamic WITH KEY condition?

    Hi All,
    I have a Z table with 6 fields. The first field is the Plant and is the key field. This field can be matched with the field from selection screen. Now I have 4 character fields which can contain various values. Now I have another field at the end of the table and this field is the one which I will need for further processing.
    Now this last field will be selected based on the data for first 5 fields.
    This Read is performed in a loop and the data for all the 4 character fields may not be present.
    Now my problem is how to build a Read statement for this table where I need to get the value of the Last field based on the values of first 5 fields?

    Hi,
        Use
    IF    you have internal table With header line then use
          REad Tablename  with key  field1 = value1   field2 = value2      field3 = value3        field4 = value4    field5 = value5.
      If sy-subrc = 0.
    endif.
    if  you have internal table WithOut header line then use
         REad Tablename into workArea  with key  field1 = value1   field2 = value2      field3 = value3        field4 = value4    field5 = value5.
      If sy-subrc = 0.
    endif.
    regards,

  • Here's how to do ALV (OO) with dynamic fcat, int table and editable data

    Hi everybody
    Here's a more useful approach to ALV grid with OO using dynamic table, data NOT from DDIC, dynamic FCAT and how to get changed lines from the grid when ENTER key is pressed.
    It's really not too dificult but I think this is more useful than the ever present SFLIGHT methods from the demos.
    This also defines a subclass of cl_gui_alv_grid so you can access the protected attributes / methods of that class.
    You don't need to add the class via SE24 -- done fron this ABAP.
    When you run it click Edit for the first time.
    After editing data press ENTER and the break point should bring you into the relevant method.
    Code developed on NW2004S trial version but also works on rel 6.40 on a "Real" system.
    The code should work without any changes on any system >=6.40.
    All you need to do is to create a blank screen 100 via SE51  with a custom container on it called CCONTAINER1.
    The rest of the code can just be uploaded into your system using the SE38 upload facility.
    When running the program click on the EDIT button to enable the edit functionality of the grid.
    Change your data and when you press ENTER you should get the break-point where you can see the original table and changed rows.
    This program is actually quite general as it covers Dynamic tables, building a dynamic fcat where your table fields are NOT in the DDIC, intercepting the ENTER key via using an event, and accessing the protected attributes of the cl_gui_alv_grid by defining a subclass of this class in the abap.
    I've seen various questions relating to all these functions but none in my view ever answers the questions in a simple manner. I hope this simple program will answer all these and show how using OO ALV is actually quite easy and people shouldn't be scared of using OO.
    Have fun and award points if useful.
    Cheers
    Jimbo.

    Hi there
    IE7 doesn't give me the add new page option and I get 404 error when trying to access the "How to contribute" section.
    I'll load up Firefox later (this browser usually works when IE7 doesn't always work properly).
    I'll copy the stuff to the wiki when I've got the browser sorted out.
    Cheers

  • How to assigne multiple value in key of read table

    Hi gurus,
    I want read table xxxx with key field1 = ' xxx' or field1 = 'yyy'.
    how to assign multiple value as key for the same field while reading internal table.
    Regards
    sagar

    Hi ,
    You can loop the internal table like
    loop at  <table xxxx> where field1 = ' xxx' or field1 = 'yyy'
    or you can write two read statements to read the internal table in wrk area.
    read table   <table xxxx> with key field1 = ' xxx'.
    if sy-subrc <>0
    read table   <table xxxx> with key field1 = 'yyy'.
    if sy-subrc = 0
    endif.
    else.
    do your data processing.
    endif.
    Thans.

  • How can I obtain the primary key of a table for an entity relation?

    hello everybody
    I am doing a consultation to a table in my data base, good this table has alone two fields, the first one is the code or pk and the second one is the description, to be presisos they are names of city and code.
    From the beginning!!: This method this one in another class that is a Dialog that is going to call to the class SelecPlace ();
      SelecPlace sl = new SelecPlace();
    public void capturarLugar(){  //  Simple void method in the mentioned class
            String place = txtProcedencia.getText() ;  //  a JTextField
            sl.executeStatement(place) ;
        }ok, now we see part of the code of the class SelectPlace
    public class SelecPlace extends AbstractTableModel{
        Connection con = null;
        Statement sentencia = null ;
        ResultSet rs = null;
        ResultSetMetaData rsmd = null ;
        String[] nameColum = {} ;
        Vector datos = new Vector() ;
        public SelecPlace() { }
        public void executeStatement(String query){
          try{
             con = DBManager.getConnection() ;
             sentencia = con.createStatement(rs.TYPE_SCROLL_INSENSITIVE,
                                                                          rs.CONCUR_UPDATABLE) ;
             String sql = "select * from Place where descripcion like %"+query+"%'";
              rs = sentencia.executeQuery(sql) ;
              rsmd = rs.getMetaData();
              int nroColumnas = rsmd.getColumnCount() ;
              nameColum = new String[nroColumnas] ;
              //obtengo los nombres de columnas en cache
               for(int colum = 0; colum < nroColumnas; columna++){
                    nameColum[colum] = rsmd.getColumnLabel(columna + 1) ;
               datos = new Vector();
                while(rs.next()){
                    Vector newRow = new Vector();
                    for(int i = 0; i < getColumnCount(); i++){
                    newRow.addElement(rs.getObject("place_ID"));
                    newRow.addElement(rs.getObject("description"));
                    datos.addElement(nuevaFila);
                fireTableChanged(null);
            }catch(SQLException e){
                System.err.println(e);
                e.printStackTrace(System.err);
                System.out.println("error in statement");
            }catch(ClassNotFoundException cnfe){
                System.err.println(cnfe);
        }Ok, this code me works and I obtain in this case the field description of the table Place
    Now my question is, how can I obtain the primary field of my table?
    I need this value of this field that in the base of information in a bigint, and to take it to the first class before mentioned, for that I am working with a data base related

    Certain duffymo and everyone!!, good I give you my scheme:
    And generalizing my question, I want to obtain the value of the primary key of a table in the database, I obtain more values of the same row, but I need the primary key, and you see one with the primary key I want to turn a Long and it to insert with code java in foreign clave in another table of the database
    Good of this form I believe that it would not be breaking the integrity relacional of the tables

  • How to populate Value in Pop Up Via Value table

    Hi Experts,
    I have created one Zfield and assign it to a structure . Then structure is mapped to its corresponding Field group .  I have provided the value table to the Domain of the same Zfield . But at the execution the F4 pop up is appearing but the data (From the Value table) is not populating in the pop up.
    Kindly let me know the procedure to populate the data in popup via Value table....
    Though i know that for some standard fields like Country and Region, already the standard domain LAND1 is provided with the value table T005 and it works fine.
    Kindly suggest. Points will be rewarded for every helpful sugesstion.
    Thanks
    Sunil

    Hi
    In the fieldgrop structure for this field, fill in the field INPUT HELP as VALUE_TABLE and generate the layout. The values will appear in F4 now.
