How to Populate Scrath Pad dynamically in IC web client..

Hi all,
i am struck in a requirement where i need to autopopulate error message in Scratch pad of IC when CSR accepts the call of Customer.The error message is generated when customer puts any wrong data in IVR.
i don't know how to go about it? If any body suggest some helpful points,
points wil be rewarded..

Hi,
Scratch pad is not meant for this purpose. Scratch pad is a free form space for agent to make notes that can be copied anytime during the interaction if required. In your case you could probably create an alert as Francis suggested to you.

How to populate data from dynamic drop down list to the text field

Hi,
I tried to populate data from dynamic drop down list to city field. I would like to concat data from drop down list.When selecting add button to add the item and select item from drop down list, data should be displayed in the text field. However, Please help. I spent alot of time to make it works I am not successful.

Hi Rosalin,
Loop the hidden table, get the values and populate drop down in each iteration.
DropDownList1.addItem("Text","Value");
You can use one more solution for this scenario. If it is a matter of 2,3 dropdowns, put three dropDowns in the form layout and give seperate static data binding to them. At run time make the dropDowns hide/visible as per the requirement.

How to populate a list dynamically

Being new b I am tasked on one project and I think I am making some progress on it. Currently I need to display some values in a list dynamically. The layout of the list is as follows:
Here is your class schedule for week 05/13/2006:

Days are constant and only thing that will change is the course number. Any ideas or samples to do this? I have the code that pulls this information but don't know how to display it in a list form as shown above. Thanks

All I can say from what you have provided is:
Iterate over the list. Print each day's name. If that day contains schedule data, print that as well.

How to populate the Poplist dynamically

Hi,
I need help in the following.
I am populating the first poplist named Poplist1 from the FND_Lookup table. So based on the values selected in the first poplist1 the value in the second poplist, poplist2 should show different values.
Say we select 'Bird' from poplist1, the poplist2 should poplute values from FND_Bird table, if we select Animal from poplist1, the second poplist, poplist2 should show values forn FND_Animal.
I am not sure about how to make this work. Any guidance would be of great help to me.

There are three ways in which you can do this.
1. Performant way : If your options in the first poplist is less then you can define a set of poplists in the metadata based on the number of values in the first poplist which derives values from different tables and set rendered property to a SPEL expression. Use PPR on the first poplist and render the appropriate poplist which queries from the underlying tables based on the selected value in the first poplist.
2. You can define a set of view objects for each one of your tables and associate the viewObject at runtime to the second poplist.
3. You can dynamically create viewObject based on the first poplist selection and associate that with the second poplist.
In case of second and third approach you need to do a formsubmit on the first poplist selection and capture that event and redirect to the same page and do all these stuff in processrequest.

How to acheive Pagination and Dynamic sorting in Web layout.

Hi All,
I'm new to Oracle Reports. I use Report Builder 10.1.2.0.2.
I tried creating a template for simple tabular report. I modified the tempalte for Paper layout, Web layout ie modified .tdf, html, css files.
When the data is dispalyed in the web browser, i need to do Pagination and dynamic sorting (ie when the column heading is clicked, it needs to do sorting by that column).
In the jsp page of the report, it is possible but i want to incorporate this functionality in the Template. So that a single template can be used across multiple reprots with out any modification.
Can any one please tell me how to do this.
Please reply me at the earliest. Its very urgent.

Igor,
You'll need to switch from using Partial Page Rendering to full page submits on that report. In version 4.0 we should be getting more control over event handling in PPRs but to what extent is still unknown.

How to populate sequence number automatically in fusion web application

Hi all,
I created simple fusion web application.
I created a form which has programid and remaining fields are there.
If i press save button program details will save in database.
here i am giving programid manually. but i need to generate a sequence number to programid automatically.
If i give program details and save for this program details one sequence number should be generate and save in databasePlease help me

Here there are two methods given
1. Generating sequence number from the trigger
2. another one is from java class.
I tried two but i am not getting the sequence number.
In my application under model project i have programview.
i created CustomEntityEmpl java class.
I double clicked on programid in attributes window, given some sequence name in name field,given db sequence name as as value.
i mentioned name of sequence in Java class. but still it is asking a value when submiting the program details with out program id.
please help ASAP

IC WebClient processes Email using SAPConnect component .There are certain configurations need to take place on groupware integration like SMTP configuration and Inbox settings on IC WebClient .

How to populate field catalogue fields in ALV using dynamic internal table

Please let me know how to populate field catalogue fields in ALV using dynamic internal table.
I have created <dyn_table> using code below.
CALL METHOD cl_alv_table_create=>create_dynamic_table
 EXPORTING
 it_fieldcatalog = g_t_ifc
 it_fieldcatalog = g_t_fieldcat
 IMPORTING
 ep_table = dy_table.
ASSIGN dy_table->* TO <dyn_table>.
Create dynamic work area and assign to FS
CREATE DATA dy_line LIKE LINE OF <dyn_table>.
ASSIGN dy_line->* TO <dyn_wa>.
Now this <dyn_table> has fields like idoc no.,creation date ,
segment field 1, segment field 2 etc..Now idoc no.,creation date are static fields from table EDIDC. And segment field 1, segment field 2 etc are dynamic fields from table EDSAPPL.
In my ALV report I am getting the final layout properly but I am unable to move values to corresponding fields in the final layout shown.Please let me know how to populate these fields from different tables.
I tried this way but its not working.
SORT g_t_edid4 BY docnum.
LOOP AT g_t_edidc INTO g_r_edidc.
 READ TABLE g_t_edid4 into g_r_edid4
 WITH KEY docnum = g_r_edidc-docnum
 BINARY SEARCH.

You have to assign each field to field symbol and then assign the value to that field symbol and asssign that field symbol to workarea field symbol.

BINARY SEARCH.

How to populate VO based ADF tabledynamically in Oracle 11g?

Hi all
Is there is any way to dynamically populate the values for the VOIterator in Oracle11g? My Requirement is something like, I have deragged the VO from the Data control to the jspx as a ADF table.Whenever page loaded the table will be populated with the values. The same way when page gets loaded user have the option to import the values from the excel sheet and need to display the imprted values on the same ADF table created based on the VO(View Object). I have the code to extract the data from the excel sheet. I just need to know how to populate those excel sheet data on the ADF table based on some VO.I Hope you got what I mean to say

My concern is How to add the data dynamically to a VOIterator programatically in the backing bean?
for eg:
I have dragged a VO on to the screen as ADF Table(So whenever page get loaded the data will be displayed on the screen. This is fine )
I want to place a button on top of my screen , and when user clicks on that specific button, in my backing bean i need to populate some data to that VOIterator and get it displayed on the same ADF table which created in above step.
To acomplish this what should I do?

How to Populate the Dropdown from the xml file ?

According to my requirement, Drop down has to be populated in a form, on selecting an element in the first drop down list, corresponding second drop down values has to be loaded dynamically.
I am using the ReferenceData file, which consists of the Dropdown list values in the form of Key,Value pair. I can able to populate one drop down,but I don't know how to populate the second dropdown dynamically.
can any one please help me to finish this task.
