How to post a screenshot in the forum...

Oftentimes we ask forum users to post a screenshot, but it seems more and more new computer users have no idea how to do that. So I have written a short FAQ entry to explain: http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1070933

I would also put a link for Jing - a free tool from TechSmith for XP machines. Print Screen may not be suitable for everybody.

Do you see the "Attach Files" button in between the "Preview" and "Post Message" buttons when posting a question or reply?
This is how you would attach an image, you can't embed it into the text here. Also, I thought that the "Attach Files" functionality had been removed for performance reasons, but you can try it if you see the button.

Could someone post some screenshots of the Apple store app?

Would someone with an iPhone/iPod touch please be kind enough to post some screenshots of the Apple Store app.
I've been googling for some screenshots, but only a limited selection are available and they are not at actual size.
Here are the screens I need:
Main front screen
Product Page (if possible of more than one product)
Photogallery on a product page
Information section on a product page
Category page
If possible, if the full content of each page could be posted.
The Apple store app no longer works on my iPod touch, otherwise I could do it myself.
Thanks for any help that can be offered.
Or if anyone knows how I can access the Apple store content on a desktop, that would be even better. I still need to see all the content in mobile screen size format, but it might be possible to resize my browser to emulate this?

Try downloading and reinstalling the Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo v1.1 updater. It just may reinstall App Store for you.

According to me, it would be really a great help if we can also insert some screenshots in the forum Question and answer. I also understand that this enhancement may take lot of server space .....but our bottom line for providing SDN Forums is to provide a Quick and realible solution to the members....!

Screenshots can be added as attachments in the wiki.
That is the appropriate place to house them.

Yeah got onto that but it won't load up anything readable. It just produces a little annimation of 35mm film strip and when you click on it - nothing. All you end up doing is clicking on the X in the top right hand corner of the annimation and deleting it. Really frustrating because uploading from the iPhone is simple, but I've deleted it off that and can't get it back from the Mac to the iPone either. Seem to be trapped no matter what i do.

How To Register/Sign Up For The Forum - Video

You can search for available solutions in the Forum as much as you want.
However, if you need to ask a question in the forum or answer to somebody’s post, you need to be a member of the community. It is very easy to register in our Forum and the new registration process is even more compact than before.
There are just 3 simple steps to be followed, to get registered.
Step 1 - Open the online Registration form:
On the top right, click on the Register link.
This will open a short online form, which takes you to the next step.
Step 2 - Fill your basic personal details:
The form will have several fields for you to fill, all of which are mandatory. All the information entered here will not be publicly visible and only be used in HP Forum's internal database.
The most important field among this, is the email address. If you forget your password in future, this will be handy to reset it. Also any alert or notification from the Forum, including your future topic subscriptions will be sent to this email ID.So, please choose wisely.
Once the form is filled, click on the button. Now, you are almost done.
Step 3 - Choose your Screen Name:
Finally, you will be asked to choose your screen name, which will be your identity in the Forum. Write your desired name and then click on button.

How to post my code in this Forum under a good format?

can any one tell me how to post the java resource code in here? when i just copy and paste. the format of the output is not so good, i saw some one posted some code under a very good format in this Forum, how to do that?

If you want to post code that makes it easier on someone else to cut-n-paste, then put the code inside of the [ pre] and [ pre] tags (no blank space in between). If you want code that looks pretty (i.e., with syntax highlight, etc) but hard to cut-n-paste (at least for someone like me who uses Windows WordPad as a source code editor), put the code inside of the [ code] and [ code] tags (again no spaces in between). pre is an abbreviation for preformatted text!

I have subscribed the discussion topic of this forum,I am delight that the other users would response for the topic which I have posted to help me.
But I found that the forum have send many topics to my email box everyday,and most of these topics are not relative with the questions I want to discuss with the other users,I must spend time on deleting the Email items.Therefore,How can I unsubscribe the topic which is not relative with my questions in order to tell the manager not to send those topic item to my Email box.If anybody can tell me how to solve it.

How the heck do I get rid of the forum emails that are automatically sent? I tried the settings but that didn't seem to do anything. I get about 400 a day.

Via View Profile you get a link that does a forum search.<br />
That is a result page (with 10 results per page) that is different than the My Contributions link (20 results per page and more info) will give you.
If you are logged on then on the top of the [[/questions]] page you have a Sort and Filter item that opens a drop down list.<br />
You find "My Contributions" amongst the choices in the second column (Show).

Click on Terms of Use in the sidebar of this page. Scroll down until you reach the point where you will find information of formatting posts to include URLs. To display an image requires storing your image on an open server.

Academic Initiatives, Archived Forums C-D, Archive Forums I-L, Archived Forums W, Corporate Citizenship, Dynamics, Learning, Machine Translation and Language Tools, Microsoft Genuine Advantage, Microsoft Maren, Microsoft Money, Microsoft Research, etc....,
Streets and Trips, Using Forums, Windows Academic, ..... but none of the familiar topics.
What has happened?

This looks to be a branding issue (you're seeing Microsoft branded forums, not TechNet [see the url]). Click the link below for a direct link to the Exchange Online forum:
