I am working on forms,
i have to display like this in the form
1.RFQ number, 2.Header text
explanation for numbers
1. The RFQ number is displayed using a variable so the text type is Text Element
2. Header text, has to be got form the standard text , so the text type is include text.
how can i print both in the same line.

Hi ,
You can use a charecter variable whos length >= length of RFQ no + Length of Header string .
Concatenate both in this variable. And print the variable.

Hi, I am looking for a clear document on how to use pagination and the Odd and Even pages.
We need to print a table over several pages, but the table should only appear on Odd pages. The even pages should be skipped. On the even (back) pages we need to print "Terms and Conditions". Is that possible? Can it be done without scripting?
We are using ADOBE version 8.1
In the file properties, double sided is switched on, and version set to 8.1 and higher.
I created two Master pages, a FrontPage with ContentArea1and a BackPage with ContentArea2.
FrontPage is used for uneven pages, BackPage is used for the even pages. The masterpages are printed correctly (alternating properly).
One page was created for the table, totals etc.:
ITEMS: contains item data (table with header and footer). Place is "On Odd Page". After "Goto page BackPage", so there is always one page with the text. And if the table needs to be paginated it goes to BackPage with overflow leader "Conditions".
What should happen is that on the front pages the item table is printed. If there are too many lines then it should continue on page number 3 then 5 etc. All the even pages should display text only.
What actually happens is that the item table also gets printed in the content area for the Condition text...
The best I could achieve is to decrease the contenta area of the back page. To force pagination. But still it prints one table record in the (very small) content area of the back page before paginating to the next page (front page again). If it only would not do that, it would be fine.

Fixed it... After a lot of creating, deleting, playing around with pagination and the inevitable cursing...
I have created 5 pages:
1. FirstPage
     - Odd/Even: Odd (Front) Pages
     - Placement: First page (In page set)
2. FrontPage (For Odd pages)
     - Odd/Even: Odd/Front Pages
     - Placement: Rest of Pages
3. BackPage (For Even pages)
     - Odd/Even: Even (Back) Pages
     - Placement: Rest of Pages
4. LastPage
     - Odd/Even: No Odd/Even Restrictions
     - Placement: Last page (In page set)
5. DummyPage
     - Odd/Even: Blank pages
The 'Terms and conditions' are located on the BackPage and LastPage (as a text).
The table that is printed is (of course) located on a normal page (flowed subform).
Pagination tab: Placement = Following previous, and After = "Continue filling parent". No overflow... Basically, it's all default.
The table lines will now start on the first page and if there are more lines than can be printed on this page, it will continue in the next content area. That will be on the FrontPage.
The trick is that each master page must have a content area (mandatory). Except for Blank pages, but these cannot be used... Blank pages would only be used once, after the first page.
What I discovered is that you can drag a content area away from the Master page and attach it to a different master page.
Logically, if there is no content area on a page, then data cannot be printed there. So, I created a Dummypage. On this page I dumped the content areas from the LastPage and the BackPage. As a result, content cannot be printed anymore on the back of pages. Only the standard text (a text field) is printed there. When the data from the table is overflowing, it will automatically overflow from the FirstPage to the next content area. Which is located on the FrontPages only.
The DummyPage is NOT used anywhere.
The result is that the records can only be printed on the content areas that exist on the First and Front pages. The back pages are now skipped.
Duplex printing is now working correctly, and the text is printed on the back of all the pages.

Okay, I've figured it out, so I'm going to answer my own question in hopes that it may help anyone else that would like to actually be able to see what they're doing when using Photoshop CC 2014 on a high resolution screen.
1. Open Photoshop.
2. Select Preferences from the Edit Menu, then select General.
3. Change the HUD Color Picker to Hue Strip (Medium).
4. Select Interface from the Preferences menu on the left side of the dialog box.
5. Change the UI Font Size to Large in the Text area of the Preferences dialog box.
6. Select Experimental Features from the Preferences menu on the left side of the dialog box.
7. Select Scale UI 200% for high-density displays (Windows only).
8. Click on OK, then Exit/Quit Photoshop.
9. Open Photoshop and everything should be readable.

Here's the solution I used to solve the same problem. If you're not comfortable editing the source files, this might be more than you want to take on--but I've done it to several files with no ill effects. A warning about editing the Master pages--it only edits them in that book--it doesn't update the theme. So if you go to create another book with those same layouts, you'll have to duplicate the book and replace all the images. An alternative would be to create a "clean" book with no photos in it and then just use that as a starting point each time.

I think if you use the start-command, the execution is asynchronously and you won't get the correct process-id. Try to execute Acorbat directly without the cmd /c start in front of it.

There is a table D010TINF which just stores basic information but not the text elements number and name.

Smartform - SSFComposer Errors and Include Text

Hi,
I am receiving errors or rather warning messages when sending a
smartform to the spool (sp02) via the current business process (transaction me9f).
These General Texts (SE61) do exist, and yet I am receiving errors such as:
"No runtime object exists for form ____________" - Fill the blank in with the
General text (TEXT Object DOKU id TX).
Can anyone suggest reasons for these messages and if possible, what can be
done to resolve this problem.
One thing to note: While Standard Texts are output via include text, General Texts
do not appear on the output via include text. What could be the problem?
Standard texts are via transaction SO10 and General Texts via SE61. We have to
use General Texts for security and authorization reasons.
Please help. This is very urgent and important.

I think the reason for this is no text exist for the module you have created and
When you define a text element in the smartform you might not have checked the No Error if no text exists check box. It might solve the problem. Do that it may solve the problem.

Photos that were synced from your computer using iTunes can only be deleted by de-selecting them from the folder from where they were synced - and then re-syncing.
Connect the iPad to the PC and launch iTunes.
Click on the iPad name on the left side under devices.
Click on the Photos Tab on the right.
If you want to remove all of the Photos - uncheck the Sync Photos from Heading
Click on Apply in the lower right corner of iTunes

Gradient usually picks up the foreground & background colors from the chips in the tool bar, but that is for the default gradients. Sounds like you have one of the pre-set gradients selected in the drop down list in the gradient options bar. Select the gradient tool, then look in the options bar at the top of the screen. The second item from the left, if I remember correctly, is a drop down list of various gradient possibilities. Select the top left gradient sample for the foreground to background gradient.

How to disable "corrections" as I type in Mail (and/or everywhere)

Dear all,
Most features that are commonly considered "handy" I find extremely annoying. At the top of the list is automatic correction of the text I type, most notably automatic capitalisation. I tend to use abbreviations, e.g. like this. It's extremely annoying to have to type the word after the abbreviation, to go back and undo automatic capitalisation of - in this case - "like".
How do I turn off automatic correction?
Also, I've read a bunch of posts about "fixing" it to behave "correctly," but considering that I tend to switch between English, French, Dutch and German a lot, auto capitalisation is just always a pain.

I wish Ereins (That was Ernie's name I was trying to type) was correct. I turned on spell as you type in Mail prefs, found it a pain, turned it off there, find it is NOT turned on in Edit menu, and still it tries to correct as I type, making me waste a bunch of time. Spell as I type is turned off in Mail, both in refs (that was to be prefs, but Safari now wants to spell as I type, too, even though it is definitely not turned on in Edit menu) and Edit menu.
Mail continued to do this even after I quit mail, even after I restarted machine after turning off the ref (?) in mail preferences.
There must be a way to get rid of this elsewhere. Does anyone know how.
