How to print column's value on each page as a header in XML Publisher

Hi,
I have requirements like, there are some fields that I need to print on header level in RTF file. Output file should looks like below.
LN-1) Company_Name     Tax ID-1     Tax ID-2     Report_Type     Page No: Year/001
LN-2) Company_Address
LN-3) MONTH-YEAR
LN-4) Invoice ID     Invoice Date     Tax Code     Supplier Name     Amount
Example:
LN-1) Global Infra.     123     321     General Purchase     Page No: 2012/001
LN-2) NewYork, USA
LN-3) JANUARY-2012
LN-4) Invoice ID     Invoice Date     Tax Code     Supplier Name     Amount

LN (Line Number)-1,2,3 should be at header level and needs to print on each page. LN-4 are fields of table which will return data. When year changes on Page No. field - page no. should restart from 1 and all records for a particular MONTH-YEAR should be grouped on month-year basis.
I have done page no. thing as if year change, page no. reset to 1 by using "Section Break" on first FOR loop. Later I applied second FOR loop to group data on MONTH-YEAR basis. Here I am getting all records for that particular month (e.g - JANUARY-2012) and MONTH-YEAR is printing on FIRST page. If records are more and lines are going into next page, then I am not getting MONTH-YEAR on second page. I am getting only first 2 lines (means LN-1 & LN-2) on second page at header level and records of that MONTH-YEAR but missing MONTH-YEAR value (JANUARY-2012) on second page. My requirement is to print first 3 lines on each page.
Here Company_Name, Report_Type and MONTH-YEAR are dynamic columns which are holding run time values.
I tried number of ways but didn't get success. Kindly help me to fix this issue and please let me know if you need more details to understand this issue.

If you are doing the INSERT during runtime from a form first
create a sequence in SQL PLUS to handle the ORD_NO value:
Create SEQUENCE ORDERNO_UNIQUEVAL_sqnc
START WITH 000001
NOMAXVALUE
NOCACHE;
and reference it as the ORD_NO parameter in your INSERT
statement:
ORDERNO_UNIQUEVAL_sqnc.NEXTVAL
note: to maintain data integrity you must use the sequence
everytime you insert a new order to table. To start a new
sequence drop the sequence and re-create it with whatever "START
WITH" value you want.

I am trying to tokenize a string that contains non-displayable characters i.e. EBCDIC or ASCII. How can I print the HEX values of the non-displayable characters. e.g.

How can I pass a value into a page fragment?
I am implementing four search screens. And the only thing different about them will be their backing bean.
So I’d like to do something like have four pages, each which retrieves its appropriate backing bean, sets that bean to a variable, and then includes a page fragment which contains the generic search page code (which will make use of that variable).
The code in the four pages would be something like this:

The following will work, assuming you are needing to access a managed bean:
Put this in the parent page:

How to print the Actual Check on 1st page if the line items are more in F110_PRENUM_CHCK script. The standard script is printing at the last page of line items.
I tried using
IF &PAGE& EQ '1 '

but it is of no use.

I guess, there is no other possible way to acheive this without modifying the standard driver program. Why because? in you driver program you check window will be called only on the last page... but before you change your driver program give a try like shown below....
Not sure, but give a try... In the first page you will be printing some void check try to replace the code inside the text element of void check with original check and make all the check void... note: in this text element, be sure you write two conditions...
IF &PAGE& = 1.
**PRint all check values..
ELSE.
***Print void values
ENDIF.

How to retrive KFF segment values in each row of VO?

I need to retrve Special Information Type values in HR screen.
There is a table based on the VO and on of the column is a flex (KFF) linked ot the same VO.
How can i retrieve the KFF segments values from each row of the table (or VO row).
The VO contains the ID_FLEX_NUM only.
Specific issue details:
It is an HR screen
page : PersonSIT Page
Region : SpecialInformationType(Table)
VO : SpecialInformationDetailsVO

It would be very helpful if anyone could tell us how to set header value based on the page field.
To make it more clear.. i have a field in my Rtf (which is basically a group by) so in each page it'll differ.. My Header should reflect the same as field value.
what my understanding is header wont change for each page. but ,my requirement is something like i have to show the header which is same as one of my filed value..
for eg:
HEADER: ABC page-1
Field - ABC
HEADER:XYZ page-2
Field - XYZ

The Pointer you gave would keep Header ABC through out all the pages in report right, actually i had tried this and got same header for all pages,
but what i need is my first page Header should be based on one of the field of Page 1, second pge Header again based on the same field, but the value may differ... (coz the page field is group by ).
Would appreciate your help on this issue!!

I am able to get mobilephone value but I could not get "what each user has chosen as their visibility scope"?

According to your post, my understanding is that you want to get Privacy Policy value for each userprofile in sharepoint 2010.
You need to use RunWithElevatedPrivileges method to impersonate user.
To get the get mobilephone policy, you can use user["CellPhone "].Privacy.

How to get the RGB value of each pixel of a hole image?

I'm trying the get the RGB(between 0 and 255) value of each pixel of a hole image. I writte this code:

But the value rgbs[] contain an 8 bits integer, it's possible to have the RGB of this.
In other case, do you have another sample of code to help me to get the RGB value of each pixel of a hole image?

Hi, I am currently working on an application which requires the generation of color histograms that are a representation of a given image ie; myImage.jpg. I have made use of the JAI API and used it's Histogram class to generate a histogram vector for the image that I provide.
However, upon closer inpsection, I have realised the following:-
(1) The image, as it contains multiple colours is a multi-banded image ie; this means that each individual pixel in the image contains multiple colour samples (I assume) ie; Red, Blue Green. Due to this, a "separate list of bins represents each individual band". This means that for myImage.jpg, there is not ONE individual vector that contains data such as "400 pixels purple" "5000 pixels yellow" etc but there are indeed 3 vectors that represent the image.
I have found this to be true using the getBinSize(int band, int bin) method call - the first parameter being 0,1,2 for Red Blue or Green.
My basic (or complex) problem is that I basically want to generate 2 color histogram vectors that represent 2 separate images and then compare these vectors "side-by-side" using the vector comparison algorithms that I have already developed.
Is there a way of using Java's Histogram class and it's associated methods to be able to store all colour information for an image in only ONE vector?? I am pretty certain that this is not possible, so my dilemma is now: - If I have an image and it is represented by three separate vectors/histograms, then how can I possibly compare these to say whether an image matches or not.
When a pixel is analysed by a program, what seems to be the result returned is how that pixel is made up in terms of Red, Green or blue ie; a purple pixel is X blue, X red and X green and hence 3 vectos existing.
Can anybody offer advice on how to achieve this task of looking at a pixel and simply determining it's actual color. I would preferably like to keep my code that I have already developed ie; the use of the Java Histoogram class but any other offerings are appreciated.

How get one column's value in dashboard of obiee?

I have two reports, MAIN report and DETAIL report. I want to get one column's value as the filter of DETAIL report.
For example, the MAIN report is
Class AVG_Age MAX_Age MIN_Age
Class1 13 15 11
Class2 14 16 12
DETAIL report is
Name Class Old Describe
Name1 Class1 15 ...
Name2 Class2 16 ...
Through the Navigation to implement it, when I click the 15 of MAIN report, it can only show the MAX age student of calss1. So I have to put the MAX_Age as the DETAIL report's filter. How can I get it?

If I understand correctly, what you are trying to do is build a report so that a user can determine the oldest student of a particular class and then look at the details of that student, yes? But what if several classes have a student (or students!) with the same "max" age? For example, what if there are students in 2 classes that are aged 15 and are the oldest in their respective class? Wouldn't you want to give the user the option if choosing the various classes in which the oldest student is the "max" age? Then do this:
On the Main report, put the summary information as you have it (Class, AVG_Age, MAX_Age, MIN_Age). Put the Value Interaction navigation on the MAX_Age column.
On the Detail report, put Class, Name, Age, Description, etc., and any other columns that show the details of the student(s) that are the oldest. Add the filter on the Age column: "Is prompted." Now, create a Pivot Table view and place the Class column in the Pages area. (If you want you can create a duplicate of the Class column so you can have a copy in the Rows section of the Pivot Table.)
Now when the user clicks on the MAX_Age in the Main report, it will show the Detail report with the Classes that have students with the same "max" age in a drop down window. The user can select different classes to see the various students that meet that criterion.

How to print the table values in fastest way?

I'm having table in my application and i need to print the table values. For that I used print() method to print the table values.

Hi,
In the Module pool you will have fields. For those fields you have created the name also. Assign those name to work area and from there to internal table.
And for your requirement viceversa you need to done.

How to get column default value define on table?

I am trying to get a table column default value with no success. I am using the Oracle Data Provider for .NET 10g Release 2 (10.2.0.2)
1). OracleConnection.GetSchema( "Columns", New System.String() {"<Owner>", "<Table_Name>"} returns everything BUT default value.
2). I tried querying oracle directly (sample below) but the default value comes back blank even though the column has one defined.

However, I don't have a 10.2 ODP.NET environment right now so I was using 11.1 for this.
In your real code I suspect that you assign "oracleReader.GetValue(0)" to something - when you say "blank" do you mean zero length or a space or something else?

Showing selected parameters values on each page in SSRS

Hi All,
I have a SSRS report with multi-selection parameter..Basically it's a summary report of sales and based on country parameter I have to show data.
let say Country is the parameter and below are the values of the Country parameter list...
Parameters list:
All
Australia
England
Canada
Italy
Parameter: All
1) If I select 'All' in the parameter list then
In 1st page I should see data related to Australia and display parameter value as Australia in the left side top corner of the report.   In 2nd page I should see data related to England and display parameter value as England in the left side top
corner of the report.   In 3rd page I should see data related to Canada and display parameter value as Canada in the left side top corner of the report. In 4th page I should see data related to Italy and display parameter value as Italy in
the left side top corner of the report. In 5th page I should see data related to All and display parameter value as All in the left side top corner of the report.
2) If I select Australia and England in the parameter list then
In 1st page I should see data related to Australia and display parameter value

According to your description, you have a report with a parameter for selecting countries. Now you need to display records for one country and show the country name on each page. Right?
For this requirement, we need to add a parent group (Group on Country) so that we can set page break for each country. Also, we want to display the country name on each page. This country name is group name, not the parameter because the parameter contains
all countries that we have selected. In this scenario, we just need to set the group name as page name, then display the Page Name (Build-in Field) in report header. You case has been tested in our local environment. Here are steps and screenshots for your
reference:
1. Create a table in report. Set detail rows group on Country. Set page break between each group instance.
2. Create a parameter for filtering data. Set Filter on tablix.
3. Go to Row Groups, select group Country. In Tablix Member Properties grid, go to Group->PageName. Put “=Fields!Country.Value” in expression.
4. Create a textbox in report header. Put Page Name (in Build-in Fields) into the textbox.
5. Save and preview. It looks like below:
