How to retrive KFF segment values in each row of VO?

Hi,
I need to retrve Special Information Type values in HR screen.
There is a table based on the VO and on of the column is a flex (KFF) linked ot the same VO.
How can i retrieve the KFF segments values from each row of the table (or VO row).
The VO contains the ID_FLEX_NUM only.
Specific issue details:
It is an HR screen
page : PersonSIT Page
Region : SpecialInformationType(Table)
VO : SpecialInformationDetailsVO
flex id="HrSitKeyFlex" flexName="PEA" flexFieldAppShortName="PER" user:akAttributeCode="HR_PERSON_SIT_FLEX"

I need to get the value for the VaueSet of Segment1
The segment values are displayed in the OAF page but i did not get how did std oracle code fetch it

If you are doing the INSERT during runtime from a form first
create a sequence in SQL PLUS to handle the ORD_NO value:

and reference it as the ORD_NO parameter in your INSERT
statement:
ORDERNO_UNIQUEVAL_sqnc.NEXTVAL
note: to maintain data integrity you must use the sequence

WITH" value you want.

Hi, I would like to know how can i break the value for a row and column once i have converted the image to the array. I wanted to make some modification on the element of the array at a certain position. how can i do that?
At the moment (as per attachhment), the value of the new row and column will be inserted by the user. But now, I want to do some coding that will automatically insert the new value of the row and the column ( I will use the formula node for the programming). But the question now, I don't know how to split the row and the column. Is it the value of i in the 'for loop'? I've tried to link the 'i' to the input of the 'replace subset array icon' , but i'm unable to do it as i got some error.

Thanks for your reply.Sorry for the confusion.
I manage to change the array element by changing the row and column value. But, what i want is to allow the program to change the array element at a specified row and column value, where the new value is generated automatically by the program.
Atatched is the diagram. I've detailed out the program . you may refer to the comments in the formula node. There are 2 arrays going into the loop. If a >3, then the program will switch to b, where if b =0, then the program will check on the value of the next element which is in the same row with b but in the next column. But if b =45, another set of checking will be done at a dufferent value of row and column.
I hope that I have made the problem clear. Sorry if it is still confusing.

How to default the KFF segment values based on other field's value

Hi,
I would need to reset the 5th segment value of "Liability Account" field on R12 Supplier Page under "Accounting" link.
Condition: And it has to be based on some other value like "GLOBAL CONTEXT VALUE and TaxPayer ID Type" under "Organization" link.
Right now; as per the seeded page it defaults the Liability Account to "BL-130-0000-2110-0000-0000" under accounting link; I need to change this default value to "BL-130-0000-2110-2641-0000" based on above condition.
I have tried using the below code:
OAKeyFlexBean oakeyflexbean = (OAKeyFlexBean)oawebbean.findIndexedChildRecursive("LiabilityFlex");
oakeyflexbean.setText()
But this one does not work.
Can anyone suggest me some option to acheive this requirement.

In userprofile application, we have defined Privacy Policy of mobilephone feild as optional, so every user has option to choose visibility scope of this property to "Everyone/My Manager/my colegues/Only Me" .
Now I am trying to get mobilephone value and their selected visibility option for each user.
I am able to get mobilephone value but I could not get "what each user has chosen as their visibility scope"?

According to your post, my understanding is that you want to get Privacy Policy value for each userprofile in sharepoint 2010.
You need to use RunWithElevatedPrivileges method to impersonate user.
To get the get mobilephone policy, you can use user["CellPhone "].Privacy.

How to get the RGB value of each pixel of a hole image?

I'm trying the get the RGB(between 0 and 255) value of each pixel of a hole image. I writte this code:

But the value rgbs[] contain an 8 bits integer, it's possible to have the RGB of this.
In other case, do you have another sample of code to help me to get the RGB value of each pixel of a hole image?

Hi, I am currently working on an application which requires the generation of color histograms that are a representation of a given image ie; myImage.jpg. I have made use of the JAI API and used it's Histogram class to generate a histogram vector for the image that I provide.
However, upon closer inpsection, I have realised the following:-
(1) The image, as it contains multiple colours is a multi-banded image ie; this means that each individual pixel in the image contains multiple colour samples (I assume) ie; Red, Blue Green. Due to this, a "separate list of bins represents each individual band". This means that for myImage.jpg, there is not ONE individual vector that contains data such as "400 pixels purple" "5000 pixels yellow" etc but there are indeed 3 vectors that represent the image.
I have found this to be true using the getBinSize(int band, int bin) method call - the first parameter being 0,1,2 for Red Blue or Green.
My basic (or complex) problem is that I basically want to generate 2 color histogram vectors that represent 2 separate images and then compare these vectors "side-by-side" using the vector comparison algorithms that I have already developed.
Is there a way of using Java's Histogram class and it's associated methods to be able to store all colour information for an image in only ONE vector?? I am pretty certain that this is not possible, so my dilemma is now: - If I have an image and it is represented by three separate vectors/histograms, then how can I possibly compare these to say whether an image matches or not.
When a pixel is analysed by a program, what seems to be the result returned is how that pixel is made up in terms of Red, Green or blue ie; a purple pixel is X blue, X red and X green and hence 3 vectos existing.
Can anybody offer advice on how to achieve this task of looking at a pixel and simply determining it's actual color. I would preferably like to keep my code that I have already developed ie; the use of the Java Histoogram class but any other offerings are appreciated.

How can you covert a 2-d array into a 1-d array by taking the average of all the values in each row?

My scenario is like this,

There is a messageChoice column in my OAFTable(third column as represented above),
values for this messageChoice should be filtered on 'Name' column in each row i.e extract the letter and use this extracted value to filter the values in VALUE_TABLE.
Where clause for each rows message choice should dynamically modify as
Row 1 : select value from VALUE_TABLE where letter = 'A'
Row 2 : select value from VALUE_TABLE where letter = 'B'
Row 3 : select value from VALUE_TABLE where letter = 'C'
since messageChoice EVENT is generated only after value is changed, i cann use that to modify the where clause of the VO.
Is there any feature in OAF that modifyes VO's WHERE clause for each row?
what will be the ideal approach to acchive this. surely some one would have resolved this kind of scenario..

Yes there is a standard approach available
Consider a container, such as a table, that has two columns. One column displays a department, while the
other column displays all the employees of that department in a poplist. The view object used for the poplist
(Pick List View Definition) needs the department number (the "Deptno" field of the container) bound for bind
variable :1. This can be done with the following code example in the controller's processRequest method:
OATableBean table = ...
OAMessageChoiceBean empPoplist =
(OAMessageChoiceBean)table.findChildRecursive("EmpName");
empPoplist.setListVOBoundContainerColumn(0, /* bind index */
table,"Deptno");
This code binds the first (0th) bind index of the employee poplist view object to the value displayed by the
column named Deptno in the table.
The method setListVOBoundContainerColumn can be called multiple times if the query used for the poplist has
multiple bind variables. Note that this approach effectively simulates a BC4J view link except that it relies on
the UI table columns for the bind values rather than the view object attribute values directly.

How to add af:inputFile dynamically within each row of table?

I need to add af:inputfile dynamically within each row of af:table, when the user hits a commandlink at the bottom of each row.
I have tried wrapping af:inputfile with af:foreach:

It works but there's no independent control of each row. When I click one commandlink, All rows now have 2,3,.... af:inputFile. The change affects all rows.
The requirement should be that when I click one commandlink in a row, only that row shows additional af:inputFile.
So why not leverage the row variable of the table, right? That's what I did, I changed the end attribute of foreach to the following:

the backing bean method changed to the following:

Note that "row" refers to an object that has a int field called "filerowcount". And the initial value is "1".
Just for testing, I also added <af:outputText value="row.filerowcount"/>, to see if the count is what I expected it to be.
I didn't see the any af:inputfile this time, but the outtext is showing the filerowcount properly. When I click the commandlink, the number changed to 2,3,..... Also in the backing bean newcount and filerowcount is incrementing correctly.
I know the begin, end attribute means the index of a for loop. So I changed begin="0", it now shows one row of af:inputfile, but when I click the commandlink, no additional rows are shown. (Although the outputtext of filerowcount keeps incrementing as expected.
So to sum up, the END attribute of af:foreach row CAN pick up the value from the backing bean and render af:inputfile dynamically, but it CANNOT pick up the value from the the field in VAR object of a table.
Is is a known issue? Or I did something by mistake.
Is there any other way to add af:inputFile dynamically within each row of table?

here is how it goes:
- add an af:inputFile to the column and set its rendered property to point to a managed bean property. The managed bean property has a default value of "false" and the bean should be in viewScope
- create another variable that holds the row number that should show the inputFile component. This is updated by the command link and evaluated by the get method of the managed bean property controlling the inputFile visibility
- Define a property name for the table varStatus property
- For the command link, define a attribute f:attribute with the name rowNumber and set its value to #{varStatusPropertyName.index}
- define an action listener for the command link
public void showInputFile(ActionEvent actionEvent){
int rowNumber = ((RichCommandLink) actionEvent.getSource()).getAttributes().get("varStatusPropertyName");
//set the value on the internal variable
- In the getter of the property that defines the render value of the inputFile, use code like this

How to Update some column values in some rows in an advanced table

Hi Gurus,
Can any body help on this issue.
I am having a results table which is showing all the queried parties data queried in a seeded page in OCO module.
Lets assume the table contains 10 rows with the below columns
Party Name, Registry ID, Address Country, Match Percentage, Certification Level, Certification Reason, Internal Indicator, Status .
Certification Level, Certification Reason and Internal Indicator are the dropdowns.
The user want to update some of these fields values for some rows randomly.
After doing this if he click on Save button, Only thosed changed rows need to get update using a Custom Procedure.
But here all the rows irrespective of the change getting updated.
So how to capture the modified rows.
Appreciate any inputs..

Not sure if you got the answer. You need to capture the row which got changed using the below and get the column value using the getAttribute method. This works for single selection row, if it is multi selection then you will have to loop through all selected rows and find the VO attribute value.
String rowReference = pageContext.getParameter(OAWebBeanConstants.EVENT_SOURCE_ROW_REFERENCE);
Row currentRow = am.findRowByRef(rowReference);
String param1= (String)currentRow.getAttribute("VOAttribute");
