using ALV grid with function modules how to print $ symbol in output.
like $ 11.85 in ALV grid
please help me
take a character type field in itab.
loop at itab.
concatenate '$' itab-amt into itab-chamt.
modify itab.
endloop.
now in fieldcat just pass that itab-chamt field in place of itab-amt.

Single Printing for Multiple ALVs in Splitter Containers
Hi,
I am creating multiple ALVs (3 to 4) of CL_GUI_ALV_GRID class in my report. The ALVs are being displayed inside the splitter containers of class CL_GUI_SPLITTER_CONTAINER. My question is how to print all the ALVs inside these multiple containers with a single execution? I've found a close answer to this at this thread but it is using the REUSE_ALV... function.
How to print multiple ALV Grids with only one print dialog?
Is there a way to do this by making use of the CL_GUI_ALV_GRID printing functionality, if there is?

Please can any one tell me how to print some text in the existing alv program to the second line of every record.
the header is there but it is empty.In the data,
there are two lines printing for a normal alv.the same text should be printed in every second line of each record.Please reply soon.its urgent.This is not possible in ALV.
When you say some text I assume the text is not in the same columnar format as the list is.
ALV supports only a columnar format (except for subtotals).
You can add the text to the ITAB by parsing the text to the record. It is not going to look good if you do that. -

In This case your Printer should support the E-13B Charecters.
Create a ParaGraph with Font family as MICR_E.
use C for ON-US SYMBOL which is printed at the beginig and end of the Check Number
ie C&CHECK_NUMBER&C
then use A for TRANSIT NUMBER and
Use D for DASH SYMBOL in your check.
then while Printing the check the original check number will be printed .
Note: Your Printer should support the E-13B charecters

wa_display-glaccount = wa_bseg-hkont.
wa_display-message = text-010.
APPEND wa_display TO it_display.
change the icon color based on your requirement and append it to the internal table which you have to display in ALV.

Now got the easy solution.
Goto smartforms-> text editor, -> then include charactrs-> displayable charactrs-> and now select Euro symbol...

I would like to know how to print euro symbol () in a report.

But when I execute it only appears a '#'.
A possible idea is to use unicode (euro symbol is 20AC), but how to print unicode symbol code in sap?

try this
TRANSLATE c TO CODE PAGE g2. ( Check this code page translation .may solve ur problem ...not sure )
then write c.
