How to put break point in the update routine
I am trying to create a break point in update routine. I can do that in the start routine but I would like to know how I can include a break point in update routine in Q.

Go to Monitor Screen of the data load -> Details tab -> data processing -> right click on Data Packets -> select simulation -> select update rules and give no.of records you want to debug and then system will display the code where you can debug by giving break points.

HelenIt depends on if you have the custom FM or standard FM...Is it MM invoice or FI invoice? ... You can find out your FM by going to partner profile (WE20) for your sender partner and partner function.. Drill down to your partner and the message type and find the inbound process code.. Double clicking on the process code will help you find the FM...
If you don't have access to WE20, You can also put BP into any of the IDOC_INPUT_INVOIC* FM and see if it is getting triggered (assuming your IDOC is standard FM)... -

this FM will check very begining of the work flow..then it goes to aprover..then status will be updated to active.(for first time mm01 will not allow them to create mat in active status..as i configured user exit..after approving only these mat get active status). but in the case of extending materials they can create the views in active mode itself. after they r saving the material getting inactiv status in db tables...
if u want i can provide the code where mat status is updating to active for new materials.
My Q: i want to exit wf from where fm finds that the material is extending

Help! I just got this Lion, and SO many changes & not necessarily for the better !
I went to the Apple icon, but "Software Updates" did not show ... though I had deferred installing some updates ...
Finally it showed up, I clicked on it, saw the updates to do - BUT when I clicked on install - the "box" that usually shows the updates & how long to install - just disappeared! I can't get to it to see what's next. (I have to leave soon & will turn off the mac)
What's happening? How come I can't see the updates as they are installed, & how much time it will take?
How do I know IF they have been installed? Is this the "new Normal" for Lion? Or is there a glitch in my mac somewhere?
How about updates you download from Apple (not bought) - they go to Downloads on the Sideboard, but are they installed automatically, & put where they belong too? Is there no more restart, etc.?
- I just went to Systems Preference, to see the "Installed Software" - shows they were ... but don't I have to restart anymore? Are all updates now automatically placed where they belong?

One more way to debug in the back ground is , pur some infinite loop condition and execute the job and in SM50 you can see the job which is running place the cursor on the job and go to the program in the menu and go to debugging from there .
Example code for infinite loop .

i need to update this table everytime i execute the data. Every time version shd get incremented when i execute the program. When i excute the program next day version shd be updated by '1'.

1. check if field_date = sy-datum. in this case do nothing.
2. else . move sy-datum to field_date .
3. modify your internal table with field_date .
4. populate final table to database table .

Well the term "hotlined" I have never heard before. In any case many states (like NY) just passed regulatory powers to the State Public Service Commission of which it may be called something different in your state. You could file a complaint with them. Or file a complaint with your state attorney generals office, they also take on wireless providers.
The problem here is the staff you speak to are poorly trained, in days gone by it took one call to them and they pulled up your account and see the error and had the authority to remove any errors. They did not remove legitimate account actions, but used their heads instead of putting a customer off or worse lying to the customer.
Its a shame you have to go through what you going through.

The Time Capsule drive is a network drive. You have to mount it on the desktop before you will be able to drag/drop files onto the disk. More tips are in this thread:

The Time Capsule was designed for your backups.
If you move a file to the Time Capsule drive and delete the file from your Mac.....you have no backup.
Your only copy of the file will be on the Time Capsule drive. I would only do this with files that I could afford to lose.
All drives fail. When.....not if....the Time Capsule drive has a problem, you will lose your data. -
When I try to reorder different pages it just takes all the pages within the document and turns them into a stack! Why is this happening and how can I oder pages as the update is meant to let me?

I like to use multiple desktops and move back and forth between then using gestures. At the moment I have 5 open: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Photoshop CS 6 and a desktop. I use "gestures" to navigate between them:

and I use Mission Control (F3) to move the various desktops around in the order I want them.

So say I'm searching for a photo to open in CS 6, I find it on the open desktop then hit select "open" in CS 6 and go to that folder in the select pane.
Even right now I'm typing this in Safari and "gesturing" back to Chrome where I did the search about multi touch and mission control. I drag copy the URL there and gestured back here to paste the URL into this text.
If you did a lot of photo searches, I set professional clients of mine in Chicago up with dual monitors (In this case you'd have an external monitor on extended desktop.). So all you need to do is just glance over at the second monitor slide your cursor over there open stuff up find your photo and go back to Photoshop and open it up.

I have PDF documents with Links which point to sections referenced (e.g. link of text "Section 2.2" points to the actual page number of "Section 2.2"), but as the links are created from cross-references during rendition from Word to PDF, there are cases that the destination page number and source page number of the links are the same (e.g. links of text "Section 2.2" on page 9 are created with the destination of page 9 which is the actual page number of "Section 2.2"), I want to remove all these links, but I don't know how to get the destination page, I check the API reference and find that "PDLinkAnnotGetAction" may work , but I don't know how to use it, could you check me codes below and advise ? You can't put films in the cloud yourself, whether they will show in the cloud for redownloading depends upon what country that you are in, if the rights-holder allows redownloading, and if the film remains in your country's store. You can delete a film from your iPad via the Edit button at the top right of the film select ion screen in the Videos app or via Settings > General > Usage > Videos (that should also give you an Edit button top right of the screen or you can swipe/drag across a film form right-to-left) - but the film might not then show in the cloud for redownloading. If you haven't already done so you should connect the iPad to your computer's iTunes and do File > Devices > Transfer Purchases so that you can take your own backup copy of your downloads (apps, ibooks etc could also be removed from the store and not be redownloadable in the future).

In the process of installing Palm Desktop software version 6.2 for Vista on my laptop, when the wizard wanted to do the initial hotsync procedure I get the message on the Palm m130 that there is no connectivity between the Palm and my laptop via the
