How to put mp3 along in flash file and control stop start

Can someone tell me how to put mp3 which is just speaches done, be put alone in a flash file. Do i have to import sound? I wanted to be able to put 3 different mp3 files in flash and have people able to click on any sound and hear it. Be able to play and start and pause a sound. Is it possible are should I use something other than flash. Are should I convert to mp3 into another format and put in flash.

Yes, you need to import sound. It's just File>Import>Open External Library (in CS4, the third step may be different for others), and then browse to the files you want. They'll be put into the library.
To do what you're asking, I would put the sounds into each of their own movie clips, and have buttons inside the movie clips to control the timeline. For instance, the pause button would just have the onRelease = function(){ stop(); }; code applied to it.

EDIT: Also, mp3 is good for Flash.

How to change preview image of a file and NOT the icon ?
I know how to change the icon of a file, but I wish to know how to change the preview of any file.
For example: my file is "mysong.aif", I changed the icon to be "mylogo.png" using cmd+i, cmd+v on the icon. But the preview of the file still remain the same.
I know it can be changed using iTunes, but I don't want to import all my files in iTune, and iTune cannot import all type of files.
I hope someone will understand my needs...

How can I "tag" my MP3 without going thru iTunes ? Is it possible to do it dirrectly in the Finder ? Is there other type of files that can include such tags ?

I can't seem to remove / unload the external swf files e.g when the carousel.swf (portfolio) is displayed and I press the about button the about content is overlapping the carousel (portfolio) . How can I remove / unload an external swf file from the main flash file and load a new swf file, while at the same time removing garbage collection from memory?

Thank you for the helpful advice. I made the changes as you suggested but I am receiving a #1009 error message even though my site is working the way I wan it to work. I would still like to fix the errors so that my site runs and error free. This is the error I am receiving:
"TypeError: Error #1009: Cannot access a property or method of a null object reference."
I'm sure this is not the best method to unload loaders and I am guessing this is why I am receiving the following error message.

I also tried creating a function to unload the loader but received the same error message and my portfolio swf was not showing at all.

Heyy man, i think, u did not get my problem.
all i have to do is:
i have to create a zip file, and we should secure it with password when creating. and whenever the user wants to open that zip file he should provide correct passowrd otherwise he could not read that file. So, we should check for that also.

For iMac please use USB or even better a FW800 or if you can afford it, a thunderbolt drive.. on your 2011 Mac.
Time Capsule is not a suitable place to store your files.
1. You will have no backup.
2. TC cannot back itself up, nor can Time Machine backup network drives.
3. Apple says specifically of iphoto not to store library on network drive.

Please purchase the fastest drive out of the external ports you have available.. usb2 although the slowest is still faster than TC over gigabit. It is also more reliable. TC are not a noted reliable storage drive. It is designed as a backup location for TM files.

E.g. if I wat to import the record in table TEST (col1, col2, col3) with data in csv file BUT in different position. How to do this?

i want to know how i can put a flash file inside a flash wbsite. i have found a tutorial http://www.ehow.com/how_4906532_within-another-flash-swf-file.html that says something like that but in this tutorial if i understand correctly it creates a new flash project and add another swf inside. i have my website created and i just want to add video gallery, image gallery etc that are already swf. how i can do that?

You can use swf inside of another swf.
If you are using Actionscript2 then learn about LoadMovie
And for AS3 it is Loader.
