How to query for content type in plumtree?

Hi,
I am able to browse through the documents in knowledge directory and their properties programmatically using IDK. Here I am getting document property ids and their values, but not property name?
Can anybody suggest me how to get property names for a given document in knowledge directory?

I got rid of my earlier error as I was using the conatinerRenderer tag in the wrong way. It should have been
<containerRenderer class="com.tsynergy.container.SynergyLatestIDDBDrugsContainer"/>
Now I get to display the my edit content; But I still haven't been able to get rid of the top default portal banner that appears on my edit page. It has the default logo gif and the link to the home page.
I can now put my own form and <input> types, Just need to get rid of the default banner now.

How to chek the content type thru java script !!

Hii Guys ,one more prb,
I need to develop a file uploading utility in struts to upload ZIP files(only ZIP), and i sucseeded to do it using the commons.fileupload which comes along with the WSAD5.1(examples), but the prb is i need to chek for the MIME type and need to reject if its not a zip file, if i do this in actionclass, its waiting till the uploading process of the file is finished and finally its displaying file is not the a ZIP, i need to do this validation as the request comes to the server side, i cant not do this in clint side cause my design should not allow me to use any java script..so please let me know is there any way to specify in the controller it self .
if i use java script, how can i do the Content type validation ?

validation?Well, for server side validation, yes you have to wait for the file to upload.
I've always kinda disliked that, since it could be a big file and/or slow connection. But short of possibly using JS to check the filename (and I don't remember if you actually can, and it's not accurate in many case), there's nothing else you can do.

How do you *unset* Content-Type when using HttpURLConnection ?

I am using HttpURLConnection to set some http headers. It all works fine except that this utility is setting Content-type to text/html even though I cam not coding it to do so. I can overwrite Content-type by setting it to say, a blank, explicitly in the code, but Content-type still appears as a header (eg if I view the headers in a proxy.)
My question is - how do you completely unset Content-Type? Here's the code snippet :

thanks very much for trying this, the background to this is as follows :
I am testing a software server caching product which is giving me weird behaviour; the actions the cache performs are supposed to be based on the various http headers. I am using a debug proxy ("Charles") (limited freeware-for-a-short-period) to see exactly what http headers are being set by the calling browser, or in this case, the java program. I am setting the headers directly in the code above to match what my browser is setting, as revealed by Charles. Trouble is, I'm getting different reponses back: The browser gets a http 304 from the cache and my java program gets a 200, so I have obviously failed to emulate the browser.. and the only difference I can see is that the Conetnt-Type is not set when I call the page from internet explorer, but with my program above, Content-Type is set, to a default of text/html. I want to get rid of it so I have copied the browser http header settings 100%.
- I tried compiling this code and running it from the prompt (outside of development environment) and Content-Type is still showing up. So from what you are saying... if your attempt does not set this.. then it looks like Content-type must be getting set via some other means?

1. Create a content type with 100 site columns ( in this 100 site columns includes 10 mms feilds and 10 lookup fields).
2.when we deploy the content type in other server if already the same content type existing in the server it should be upgrade the existing content type.
Please advise how do develop the solution ( using power shell script or visual studio with event receiver or xml file)

How to query for foreign encoded text via REST service

I am using APEX 4.2.1.00.08 to publish RESTful web services that query a table of place names. The place names include foreign encoded alternates. My search field has type of NVARCHAR2 and the db has NLS_CHARACTERSET of AL32UTF8. Querying for foreign encoded names works fine from other applications (e.g. TOAD, ArcGIS).
In APEX under 'SQL Workshop | RESTful Services' I have created a module, resource template, and resource handler. When I use 'Set Bind Variables' to test the service, it works for 'English' names with no problem (e.g. 'London').
However, when I query for a foreign equivalents like 'ロンドン', the Japanese version of 'London', I get the following error:
400 - Bad Request
The request path contains illegal characters
How do I get foreign encoded place names to work as the bind variable value of a REST service?

It looks like you chose one line (the one beginning with "set") and ran it, stand-alone, in an SSMS query window. You need to run all 3 lines of code (i.e don't select any particular line, and hit the Run button). Or select all 3 lines and hit
the Run button.
What the error message says is that you are trying to use the variable @g without defining it. This could only mean that you're running only line 2 (the highlighted line).
The lifetime of a SQL variable (@g) is one-batch long, a variable goes out of scope at the end of the batch. So running each line as a separate batch won't work with SSMS. You need to run them all at once.

How do I add content types in the Applications section under Preferences

I have several applications I use regularly on multiple macs. For specific file types, Firefox 4 will only give me the option to save the file. It does not allow me to select an app to use, and, the file type is not listed in the Content Type list on the Applications tab in Preferences.
In particular, I have XLS associated with Excel, but XLSX is not listed, so all I can ever do is save it, then open it.
Another case, on one mac, PDF is associated with Preview, but it is not listed on the other, so again, all I can do is save it. It doesn't allow me the option to change actions.
There must be a place to change the default behavior for unknown file types, isn't there?

I have Leopard and PE6 and had no difficulty installing it. The only problem was with 'Bridge', which turned out to be a conflict with a file installed by the 'Opera' browser:
Users/[username]/Library/Application Support/Opera/Widgets/widgets.dat
If you have been using Opera you should remove this and note that if you run Opera again it will reinstall it. Earlier versions of Opera are OK. The presence of this file caused Bridge to hang when selecting 'Home'.
Since removing that file I have had no problems whatever with PE6.

Hi,
I am not 100% clear on your requirement and what selection criteria you need. I would be surprised if you need the DB adapter. If you just want to query how much message are in the queue or other related queries for example related to header information then DB adapter can be used. This only works when JMS queue is stored in the database. Personally I have never come across this requirement.
I suggest to look in more detail of the JMS adapter. The JMS adapter can be used to select (subscribe) to certain messages. Please read the below for more information:

The message is automatically removed from the queue (implicit delete) the moment it is picked-up. I would not recommend deleting a message directly from the queue using DB adapter. What is the point of publishing the message in the first place?
