How to register notification using NSDistributedNotification ?

I am working on Xcode4.2 and IOS 5 . I had gone through the Notification document, I have seen we can listen to other application's event using NSDistributedNotification.I tried to register with NSDistributionNotification. But i am getting compilation error. Later i checked framework class, there i don't find the NSDistributedNotification.h. Where can i found this class and how to register with this register the notification using NSDidtributedNotification.

Compare the Mac and iOS developer library Notification Centers. Despite the fact the document text is identical, including references to NSDistributedNotificationCenter, notice the OBJECTIVE-C REFERENCE heading in the Table of Contents includes NSDistributedNotificationCenter only in the Mac developer library.

How to register a new MacBook using info I entered in the startup program?

I just opened my new MacBook for the first time and the startup program walked me through entering a bunch of information and connecting to my old iBook to transfer data. And the end of the process it tried to register me with Apple but my internet connection was down and it told me I couldn't register now. It left me instructions for how to register later using the info I already typed in. I did not write down these instructions. Instead I clicked 'continue' and lost them forever.
Does anyone know how to register after the startup program has quit? I found register.apple.com but it requires me to re-enter all my data. Ignoring from the fact that I've spent more time typing this question than I would have re-typing my name and address, it bugs me that I can't find the menu or dialog box that I could swear the startup program told me to use to send my saved info.
Any advice?

Usually there's a shortcut in your new user's Home folder called "Register with Apple" (or something similar to that) of the original registration fails. To open your user's Home folder, press Apple-shift-H from the Desktop. Can you see the shortcut there?
Just so you know, you don't need to register to receive any technical support or warranty support from Apple. Registering with Apple, I believe, helps their Marketing Department, but you don't need to register for support or help.

How to Send Notification to Manager of the Employee using Dynamic Action..

Hi All,
I am sending a notification using the Dynamic Action for an Infotype.. I am able to send mail using distribution list but I have a requirement to send the notification to employee manager. I am able to determine the Line Manager ID calling the subroutine in the dynamic action. But I am not sure how to send the notification to the manager.
If the email's are maintained in distribution list if I specify the text id in the feature M0001 and distribution list the notifications are sent. I am not sure how to pass the line manager id to get the same notification..
I have seen the option REC1 but infotype 0001 in not having the line manager id..

Used the Function Module RH_GET_LEADING_POSITION.

Are you on CC or standalone perpetual licence?
If the former I believe you merely download LR from the CC site onto your iMac and log in and off you go.
If the latter, download LR onto your Mac from the perpetual licence site (not the CC version), install it and use the same licence number as with your PC.

For SharePoint Online, the docicon.xml is stored in the SharePoint online Server and there is no such Web API could modify the xml file directly, so there is no easy way to achieve it.
As a workaround, you can add some JavaScript and Jquery in the master page to modify the file type icon to the new one.

The location of "oobelib.log" is :-

just open the run the window and type %TEMP%
For Mac

AQ PL/SQL registered notifications

Suppose I want to see what registered notifications exist for AQ plsql notifications.
What I'm talking about are those notifications to PL/SQL callback procedures that have been registered using DBMS_AQ.REGISTER.
I've searched and searched for data dictionary information about this but cannot find it.
How can I use DBMS_AQ.UNREGISTER if I do not know what is already registered ?
I would have thought that SYS.ALL_STREAMS_MESSAGE_CONSUMERS would have been a good guess but it doesn't have any rows and I have a working PLSQL notification active.
Database is v10.2.
Anyone know where to find this information ?

Unfortunately there is not a user view which is definitely an oversight. As suggested you could be granted the necessary privilges on sys.reg$ to overcome this.
However, this whole area has been re-invigorated by the Database Change Notification feature which came in in 10.2. So much so that in 11.1 onwards you have the SUBSCRREGISTRATIONS and other v$ views as per http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B28359_01/server.111/b28420/aq_views.htm#sthref1151.
The EMON process architecture has been changed to the now standard Coordinator/slave architecture as well. So with this investment in development in this area the robustness, scalability and diagnosability is improving.

I need to register Director 8.5 but Adobe won't let me register anything older than Director 11. I'm annoyed about this. I bought this program, I didn't rent it. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Yes please, Chris! And thanks for the fast response. Director 8.5 runs fine on Windows 8. Amazing really when you think about how old the software is. I talked, "chatted", with an Adobe help person. He said that there were no experts available regarding the issue and told me to call the 800 number. I will, Monday, but I think I'll get the same old song. I don't like being forced to upgrade. Hi Michael, I spent a lot of time trying to register Freehand. Same problem. When I finally was able to speak with someone (from India, of course) I was told that the product was no longer supported and I would not be able to use it on a computer with an OS later than XP. I am going to try it later today as I still have a computer with that OS. If you like I can tell you how I fare with that... Best wishes,Chris S
