How to remove personalization done on WebDynpro ABAP Application

Hi,
I have rearranged columns in Receipt View of FITV_EXPENSES webdynpro application via personalization by running it in administrator mode in SE80.
Now I want to remove this personalization. How can I do so? Please help.

If you want to disable personalization.. try this
Set parameter WDDISABLEUSERPERSONALIZATION to 'X' .

How to Call the RFC in Webdynpro abap application

Dear Experts,

I have to add two numbers using RFC in webdynpro abap application. If we give the numbers in the input screen then the RFC should add it and give it in the output screen. This is the application for that I have created the RFC.
But the problem is i don't know how to call the RFC in that Webdynpro abap application and how to link the input view and output view with that RFC...? I am new to Webdynpro abap. Please kindly help me on this... I am struggled here... I need your help in this....

Dear Experts,
We can personalize WebDYnpro ABAP application via right click , show hide buttons , columns etc.
Where is this personalization data stored or how can it be retrieved assuming my application is executing outside the portal ?

Hi Prashant,
it is stored in the ABAP system - not the portal, so no issues about running outside the portal.
This is different to WDJ pagebuilder configuration/personalisation - which is stored in the portal!
you can see some of the personalisation framework that is used for things like storing POWL user preferences etc in the backend via the IMG path
Cross-Application Components --> General Application Functions --> Generic SAP Business Suite Functions --> Personalization (sic) .

Hi,
The EXEC CONNECT ... is usually used in the procedural ABAP code. For this you can refer to the ABAPDOCU.
I dont have any sample code on the classes I listed try to check out them for the parameters and the methods they have.
In WD for Java, we have these connection classes to connect to any databsae server.
Or try to create an RFC with DESTINATION for this

The Image UI element has a height and width property. Have you tried using those?

How to Map 2 structures in webdynpro ABAP?

I am facing an issue while I was trying to map the fields in Source structe to the Target structure fields.
My requirement is like as under:
I have 2 different structures ( Source Structure on the left side with some fields and Target Structure on the right side with some fields ) as:
eg.,
Source structure ( in Tree format ):
Main Source Structure( source structure header )

     - filed3
       - Sub structure1.1

        - filed2
- Structure2

     - field2
- Structure3
    - field1
    - field2
Main Target Structure( target structure header )
- Structure1

     - field2
- Structure2

- Structure3

    - field2
now, I want to map the fields of Source structure fields to that of Target Structure fields.
the user chooses like Arrows.... from one souce structure field he will drag and drop to one of the fields of the target structure to which it has to be mapped and this Arrow now should be disabled.
again the user will do the same task until he maps all the strutures of the source is finished.
this all has to be done using webdynpro ABAP.
Please let me know if anybody has worked on the same kind of issue.

I have not worked on such requirement. But in the latest versions there is a new feature for
drag and drop. I think this would be helpful in your case.

are those icons wou want to display then. he following code will be useful.
data : lo_IMG type ref to CL_WD_IMAGE.
LO_IMG = cl_wd_IMAGE=>new_IMAGE( id = img_id SOURCE = 'ICON_BW_APD_TARGET' tooltip = sts_tltp ).
lo_cont->add_child( the_child = lo_img ).
here lo_cont is the container where you want to add the image dynamically and source is the attribiute through which you can change the ICON image. this thing you can getit from data base table and change accordingly.

We can't Bring Java Inside the ABAP. Both are running in different Environments.
and also ABAP Codes are runs on BASIS.
-Basis is a middleware between ABAP codes and Ur OS.
-Contains set of programs to load,RUN,intepret the ABAP program..
So Both are Different.

First of all you should create outbound plug in the window you are trying to exit with plufg type "Exit"
Then create method handler in the view with this code
        data lo_view_cntr type ref to if_wd_view_controller.
        data lo_win_cntr type ref to if_wd_window_controller.

              l_parameter type wdr_event_parameter,
              l_val type ref to data,
              l_val_url type REF TO data.

        lo_win_cntr = lo_view_cntr->get_embedding_window_ctlr( ).

        ASSIGN l_val->* to <fs>.
        ASSIGN l_val_url->* to <fs_url>.
        <fs> = 'X'.
        <fs_url> = 'http://your-link.com'.
        l_parameter-name = 'URL'.

        INSERT l_parameter INTO TABLE l_parameter_list.
        lo_win_cntr->if_wd_view_controller~fire_plug( EXPORTING plug_name = 'EXIT_PLUG'

      You can easily change this logic to exit application instead of redirecting to the site
       just changing to
       l_parameter-name = 'CLOSE_WINDOW'.

The best way I see here is to develop your custom calender in any of the UI technologies supported like Flash (flex) or HTML5 (or maybe even SilverLight? not sure) and embed it in your WD view. You can also handle interactions between the embedded component and the WD controller.

You will need to create a service call as follows.
Right click on your WD component name and select Create->Service Call
The wizard will guide you through a series of steps to make a Web Service Call. On the 3rd screen, it will give you options such as Function Module, Web Service, etc
Before making a service call, you will need to create a proxy for the Web service in the ABAP Workbench using a WSDL document as a basis. To create or consume Web services, you will need the authorizations associated with the role SAP_BC_WEBSERVICE_ADMIN.

As i explained LIMU are subobjects like views as they dont have the seperate identity in repository so they have to be linked thru there parent component.
So when you transport whole component u can see there would be some entries in your transport list as LIMU types ( for views , windows).
OTR are text elements which u create for the elements of your view so u dont require to hardcode the text to be displayed as they need to be displayed in different languages so what you do is you create say button and for text to be displayed you create on OTR element under some package. now you give this package to your translation team to do all needed translations.
Yes DDIC types are from dictionary only but when you transport them so all newly created DDIC should also be transported.

Hi suman,
First you have insert a element interactive form in the view.
In the properties of the interactive form you have properties called datasource and pdfsource.
You have to give the data which you want to display in the datasource throught binding.
These data you have to get it from the context. For pdfsource it should be xstring.
There is one more property called templatesource, when you give a name and double click. It automatically goes to SFP and you can create the form of your purpose. While creating it will ask for context. That context will be the same which you have declared in the view or component controller.
