How to rename a flat file concatenating date and time the file name?

I created a package where I run a first interface that uses a flat file from a server and load into a table in Teradata.
After using the API OdiFtpPut, I used an FTP file and send to an outfit.
Since this procedure will operate daily, I need at the time of FTP, get the concatenation destination file name, date and time of execution.
What is the best practice for this?

Using OdiFtpPut in the field where it informs the destination file name, instead of putting just the file name (lpn_pln.csv), I put as follows:
- lp_pln_+<% = odiRef.getSysDate (ddMMyyyyhhmm ")%>+. csv
For code example, today would record the name lp_pln310120111412.csv
Anything you can add my msn ---> aluizs @ ig. com. br (no spaces)

  • When attempting to format region and set date and time the busy icon appears and seems to stay like this?

    when attempting to format region and set date and time the busy icon appears and seems to stay like this?

    Click on DU's Partition tab when you have the raw drive name selected, then set it to one partition, Mac OS Extended. If it crashes or freezes, it is finding a bad block and can't write.
    In any event, if you want to use the drive, and have not zeroed it before, you should now.
    Click on Erase -> Security Options -> Zero out data. Still with the full drive selected and not any partition(s).
    Then repartition the drive if needed.
    Boot from the DVD if that doesn't work. And no, TTPro has never mapped out bad blocks let alone create partitions.
    Disk Utility in 10.4.8 is quite good, excellent in fact. No need for an alternative.
    Your eMac drive may need to touch of Disk Utility itself. FSCK from the command line, clear the caches with Applejack along with check for corrupt plists. Between Disk Utilty and Applejack (free/shareware) never had to use TechTool Pro - or at least there weren't any errors after those two got done. But if you want a good 3rd party, pick up Disk Warrior 4.

  • Mail doesn't attach files through dragging and dropping the files!

    Help please,
    Mail doesn't attach files through dragging and dropping the files on OS X ML, it crashes for a while !!

    Open Disk Utility and Repair disk permissions on the First Aid tab.
    Then, Restart and boot into Recovery Mode by holding down cmd-r on restart until you see a gray screen. When the Mac boots, you will be presented with some options. Choose Disk Utility and select your Hard drive volume (Macintosh HD is the default name). Then, on the First Aid tab, click Repair Disk (not permissions).
    If that doesn't help, you could try installing the 10.8.2 combo updater from the Apple Downloads site:

  • How to capture file modification date and time over the web

    HI!
    I am creating a web based application and I am using webutil package for al lot of my work being that I ma working with renamin,deleting and uploading files for a users machine to the database. There is one functionality thing that I have to do in this application that webutil does not take care of and that is capturing the modification date and time from a file on the users machine. Please help me capture the date and time of a file on the users machine.
    Thanks!

    Since webutil allows you to write file on client PC directory, then you first create a directive file, then host that directive file. the directive file content is just the command lines when you manually do it on PC.

  • Naming for Export dmp file in Date and Time

    Dear All,
    Please advise me how to give the file name in date and time stamp for the export dmp file and it's log file.Suggest me in Oracle 9i version.
    for example the file name get like this 020420041155.dmp and 020420041155.log where date and time are 02/04/2004 11:55 respectively...
    Kindly let me know the syntax of filename to be given along with the EXP command..
    Thanking You,
    Ragesh

    Hello
    I don't think you can get the exp command to automatically name an export for you. The only way I think you would be able to do it is through a shell script or something where you format the file name yourself and pass it to exp. If you wanted to you could generate the command line through a SQL statement and then spool it out to a file i.e.
    spool runexp.bat
    select 'exp user/pwd@tns file='||TO_CHAR(SYSDATE,'DDMMYYYYHH24MI')||'.dmp tables=(table1,table2)' from dual;
    spool offThe second option isn't as flexible as the first but if it's just a couple of exports you have to do, it will probably prove to be less work

  • How do I delete duplicate songs? (date and time stamp are identical

    I put my cd collection in itunes and now have duplicates of most songs (don't know how I did that). The duplicates have the exact same date and time, so the method to delete a "newer" duplicate will not work. Is there a simple way to delete exact duplicates from the itune library?

    This application can help.  It's US$15.  http://dougscripts.com/apps/dupinapp.php

  • The date and time of files created and saved are off

    I notice that under the date modified column, files that I have saved or updated are usually a day off. I checked the date and time in the system preferences and it is correct. is something wrong with the battery?

    Hi, paulmont -
    Be sure the Time Zone setting is correct.
    If you have time displayed as 12-hour (rather than 24-hour), be sure the AM/PM setting is correct. Having that wrong will displace the mod/create date/time recorded for a file by 12 hours, which will (at times) shift it to another day.
    If you use Classic, make sure the same settings are in Classic as well as in OSX, particularly the Time Zone setting. This is especially true for machines which can be and are booted into OS 9. The typical symptom for this being the cause is an offset of one or a few hours.

  • How to prevent calendar from deleting dates and times from event names?

    Calendar automatically discards date and time information from titles of new events. For example, creating a new event with the text "Staff Meeting 9 a.m. board room" leaves only "Staff Meeting". Calendar discards the "9 a.m. board room" information without asking. This feature is not helpful to me. How do I disable it?

  • Every time I create a new row, I want a certain cell to display the date and time the row was created.  How do I do that?

    =NOW() updates the date and time continuously, I don't want to do that.  I just want the date and time in that cell to stay the same after that row is created.  Seems like this would be easy, but I can't figure it out.

    My preferred scheme is a variant of Barry's proposal 2
    create the new row
    select the cell in which you want to insert the date
    type the shortcut dedicated to one of the four "Insert date" services delivered with WordService from Devon Technologies (FREE)
    On a French keyboard, only one of the default shortcuts apply : cmd % which inserts the long date.
    But we may edit these shortcuts.

  • Renaming a file to date and time after unziped

    I have a google earth kmz that is downloaded to our root directory. I am wanting to see how to rename this file after it is droped into our directory. Here is what I have so far.
    <cfif FileExists("#expandpath(".")#/temp.zip")>
    Got it .... extract....<br />
        <cfzip action="unzip" file="#expandpath(".")#/temp.zip"
        destination="#expandpath(".")#"
        overwrite="true">
        </cfzip>
    Right now the code above unzips the file and places the KMZ in the root drive. I wanted to rename the file the current  date like as follows RT_2010_03_17_12_00.kmz
    I have no idea how to accomplish this.

    The <cffile action="rename"...> is what I would look at using.

  • How to present datetime objects as separate date and time objects?

    Hello,
    I store the working times of employees as records containing two datetime fields:
    - begin: datetime
    - end: datetime
    I would like to keep this design, because a working time may cover several days, e. g. beginning at 2015-04-14 22:00 until 2015-04-15 07:00.
    However, in a simplified user interface, I would like to let the user edit his working times using a date field and two time fields:
    - date: date
    - begin: time
    - end: time
    As a first approach, I created a form in a datasheet view, with the following fields:
    - txt_date: the date (unbound)
    - txt_begin: the begin time (unbound)
    - txt_end: the end time (unbound)
    - begin: the real database field 'begin' (datetime, bound, hidden)
    - end: the real database field 'end' (datetime, bound, hidden)
    When the user edits the fields txt_date, txt_begin and txt_end, I catch the AfterUpdate event and then update the database fields begin and end.
    This seemed to work at the first sight. However, then I noticed that changes to the database bound fields affect all rows of the datasheet view. So this is not a suitable solution yet.
    Is there any trick to get this to work? I also have other use cases where I want to modify fields in a datasheet view...
    Thanks
    Magnus

    You need to assign values to the bound controls in each of the unbound controls' AfterUpdate event procedures, as follows:
    Private Sub txt_Date_AfterUpdate()
        Me.Begin = CDate(Nz(Me.txt_Date)) + CDate(Nz(Me.txt_Begin))
        Me.End = CDate(Nz(Me.txt_Date)) + CDate(Nz(Me.txt_End))
    End Sub
    Private Sub txt_Begin_AfterUpdate()
        Me.Begin = CDate(Nz(Me.txt_Date)) + CDate(Nz(Me.txt_Begin))
    End Sub
    Private Sub txt_End_AfterUpdate()
        Me.End = CDate(Nz(Me.txt_Date)) + CDate(Nz(Me.txt_End))
    End Sub
    This assumes that no shift spans midnight of course.  For an example of how to handle shifts spanning midnight take a look at Timesheet.zip in my public databases folder at:
    https://onedrive.live.com/?cid=44CC60D7FEA42912&id=44CC60D7FEA42912!169
    If you have difficulty opening the link copy its text (NB, not the link location) and paste it into your browser's address bar.
    This little demo file includes functions which handle values entered as times where a shift might span midnight, assuming that a shift will always be less than 24 hours duration.

  • Appending date and time to file created in UTL_FILE

    I am trying to create a log file of database (9i) updates using PL/SQL code and I am able to create a file using UTL_FILE utility and in file name I give name as 'log-'||sysdate||'.txt' and it successfully cerates log-22-NOV-05.txt file.
    My problem is adding time to it. I declared a varibale ws_var1 and capture time in it by below statement.
    select to_char(sysdate,"HH24:MM:SS') into ws_var from dual.
    SO when I try to add this to file name as 'log-'||sysdate||'-'||ws_var1||'.txt' the file that gets created is just two number such as 02.txt, 34.txt etc.
    I am not sure where the problem is but any help to create file name with date+time information is apperciated.
    Thx

    Why not just:
    'log-'||TO_CHAR(sysdate, 'DD-MON-YYYY-HH24MISS')||'.txt'
    SQL> select 'log-'||TO_CHAR(sysdate, 'DD-MON-YYYY-HH24MISS')||'.txt' from dual ;
    'LOG-'||TO_CHAR(SYSDATE,'D
    log-22-NOV-2005-170813.txt
    1 row selected.

  • Converting a File to PDF and Keeping the Files Original Date

    I've got Acrobat Pro XI and I'm using the Action Wizard to covert a folder of TIF files to PDFs.  The action works but, I'm needing for the newly created PDF files to have the same date on them as the original files.  Can anyone help with this?

    You can set the date on the file (not with Acrobat but specialist tools may exist), but the creation date shown in Acrobat properties is stored in the file is defined to be when the PDF was created, not the original file.
