How to reperesent numeric values in Flex charts according to French format?

Hi All,
I need to convert existing Flex application from English to French. I want to know if there is a way to handle the numbers in French format when using in charts. For instance, if in English the number is represented as: 123.45 in French it will be: 123,45 (note the comma being used in place of decimal point).
Please suggest a solution as to how to handle this.

It is very simple. Follow the steps below to achieve the solution,
1. Write a check-box change event to capture the value of the check box. Store this value in a variable(say bolChkSelected:Boolean).
2. In step 1 you got the value of the check box. Now your aim is to send the value to php. Declare a httpService in your flex application(i think you are aware of using it).Ok..im writing it

in the datatable can i change numeric value to date format . in database date value is like 1070131 (CYYMMDD). I want to see 31/01/07(DD/MM/YY) or 31 Jan 07 . Is it possible?

How to get numeric values

I need to filter out certain numeric values from a column.
The column has mix values of 1, 02, MA, sentences, A, 500.00,
2059678974, 006702.
I used IsNumeric() to filter out non-numeric values like A or
sntences, MA, etc. But I also need to filter out 1, 2 and 3 digits
numbers and floating typed number (234.00 or 324,345)
Can anyone tell me what function can I use to get a pure 4 to
6 digits number?

How to add multiple values in bar chart.

I have three fields.
1) Buyer Name:
2) Number of PR
3) Number of PO
I want to display 2 and 3 in values corresponding to 1 (Buyer name) by using bar chart. I can display one filed either number of PR or PO but cant both in one chart.

We need help! We don't know how to do this:

multilevel bar chart created with Oracle graphics from an Oracle
report. We are trying to have the report dynamically place the
values "ONTO" the bar(s) itself, so that the "reader" of the

There is a solution to this somewhere on this forum. If I understand it correctly you can select the chart, right click, select field templates. Select the axis field tab. Enable the label check box. Select desired radio button from label rotation.
Counts should appear above the bars.

How to show time values in a chart item of WAD 7.0?

Hi experts,
i have a keyfigure in time format hh:mm:ss. In the analyze item it is no problem to show the query results in this format. But in a chart for example line type the chart designer cannot resolve the values and all lines are down. In the chart wizard i can only choose between text, label and percent.
Have anyone an idea that can help?

How to show negative value in Pie Chart from Webi?

I have below example data, I want to convert this to a pie chart in Web Intelligence, my problem is after I convert it to a pie chart, the revenue '-30' is shown as '30', looks like the pie chart is not suppor the negative value to show, I want to know if there is any workaround or solution to make the pie chart to show the negative value? Is this behavior is by design? do we have any official document to explain this?
The product I used is BOE XI 3.1 SP3.

Why are you showing this information as a pie chart? It doesn't make sense to try and display a negative slice in a pie chart. I can't really think of a logical way to try and draw a negative slice in a pie chart. With a pie chart you will need all your information to either all be positive or all negative, otherwise it doesn't work.
What you need is to have a bar chart, with positive and negative values on the y axis.

How to Display result value on Pie chart in wad

I'm useing WAD to create web template, in that I have a requiremnt to develop Pie chart and it should show material cost according to material type for each slice on Pie chart. I have developed a WAD template for the same and Pie chart as well but I can not see the respective material type cost on Pie chart, where as I can see those values in tool tip when I move mouse over the pie chart, I understand I'm missing a small setting can you please help me to find that setting so that user can see values directly on pie chart without moving the cursor on the same.

are you r using wad 7.0 or 3.5
in 7.0 right click on the graph, edit nyou wil be in the wizard go on step 3 and try to change the series and make sure visilibility is checked
if this doesnt work then click refine and go to series and make sure show lables are checked.

How to display Zero values in the chart

In BO design studio 1.3 we are using bar chart and line chart for one of the dashboard. we have enabled the data labels and data is also displaying in the chart, but for certain criteria the data is itself zero in the database. In such scenario chart is not showing zero as the data label and it is simply blank. Is there any way to display the values even though it is zero?

How to get numerical value for every button

Hi,
Currently I am using a case structure to determine which graph i want to display. For example, each case( i have 7 cases), there is a frequency,amplitude dial which user can change it. So basically there are 7 of those. Let say the user want to change case 1 and display those. I've plan to place a button PLAY beside the frequency dial so that it will activate the case 1. But the problem is how can i do that as the input for the case structure is numerical (0-6) to select the case. How can i activate case 1 for an example, when i click the button PLAY beside the first dial? Is it possible to change the configuration of the button PLAY, so that when its activated, it will give out numeric 1 and i wire to the case structure input? Thanks guys.

1. Delete / Remove login_ids from a string found in one or more of the fields in Mocha table

I am creating some reports, in which i am facing a problem.
i have an AMOUNT field of "NUMBER" data type in a table, I want to show the AMOUNT value in Character at run-rime.
