How to replace files during moving a package

I want to move a java package to a different package. It said there are the same files already exist in the destination package so it won't move.
I want to replace those files. Is there a setting in JDeveloper 11g to do this?

How about removing the files in the target folder first, the do the move.
As far add I know you can't overwrite an existing file using refractory.

Back up all data before proceeding. There are ways to back up a computer that isn't fully functional. Ask if you need guidance.
Start up in Recovery mode. When the OS X Utilities screen appears, select Disk Utility.
In the Disk Utility window, select the icon of the startup volume from the list on the left. It will be nested below another disk icon, usually with the same name. Click the Unlock button in the toolbar. When prompted, enter the login password of a user authorized to unlock the volume, or the alternate decryption key that was generated when you activated FileVault.
Then, from the menu bar, select
File ▹ Turn Off Encryption
Enter the password again.
You can then restart as usual, if the system is working. Decryption will be completed in the background. It may take several hours, and during that time performance will be reduced.
If you can't turn off encryption in Disk Utility because the menu item is grayed out, you'll have to erase the volume and then restore the data from a backup. Select the Erase tab, and then select
Mac OS Extended (Journaled)
from the Format menu.
You can then quit to be returned to the main Recovery screen. Follow these instructions if you back up with Time Machine. If you use other backup software, follow its developer's instructions.
Don't erase the volume unless you have at least two complete, independent backups. One is not enough to be safe.

Is there an option to use the old "Don't Replace" option during file copying on OSX Lion??

I am extremely upset at the removal of "Don't Replace" function during copying. I often copy many of my music, picture and video files onto external hard drives for back up and often times they total more than 100 files. On Snow Leopard when I would copy files onto the external if some files were already on the external hard drive it would give me the an option of not replacing the files already there and just copying the rest. With Lion the new option is to either make a secondary copy of the file, just stop the whole copy or just replace the file already there. Because of this i have to spend the extra time of replacing all the files each time i back up, or stop the copy and go through hundreds of files to deselect the file already on the external drive. PLEASE BRING BACK THE "DONT REPLACE" Option

Upon further use and file moving, I'm now in agreement with Kappy. I made a blank TextEdit file on the desktop, copied it to my Home folder, then tried to copy again.

That looks pretty standard and the same as it was before. What function do you guys claim to be missing?

Your i-device was not designed for unique storage of your media. It is not a backup device and media transfer was designed for you maintaining a master copy of your media on a computer which is itself properly backed up against loss. Syncing is one way, computer to device, updating the device content to the content on the computer, not updating or restoring content on a computer. The exception is iTunes Store purchased content.

But in that case user need to download 2 applications right. I need user to download my parent application created using Flash and that package contain one more ipa created using Xcode, so from my parent app only user should able to open my 2nd app. Is there any way to do that?
Ps: I am not talking about in-app but 2 individual apps inside one package.

How to exclude files within Packages?

I'd like to exclude certain files (or directories) from Time Machine's backup, but these files are within a Package file.
iWebSites is an application that manages multiple Domain files for iWeb. It does so by copying and moving a Domain file for each iWeb Site you create, so that you can have an iWeb 'library" with Site A and Site C in it, and a different "library" with Site B in it (you don't have to have one library containing Site A, Site B, and Site C). However, iWebSites stores all of the separate Domain files into one Package file.
I want to backup some iWeb sites, but not all of them. So I want to use iWebSites to split them up into different files and then have some of them excluded by Time Machine.
Using Time Machine's "Exclude" functionality, I don't see a way to do this. Does anyone have any ideas?

I never tried it but the obvious thing to try would be the following. Right-click on the package and choose "show package contents. This will open a finder window with the contents of the package. Drag what you need to the TM exclusion tab.

To my knowledge the cgicmd.dat is only read when the OC4J starts, so you would have to come up with another solution. Using Single-Sign-On (SSO) is quite a good idea, and it's there for cases like this.

The cross-document (section) Text Anchor Hyperlinks work fine in my workspace - but when I change the file location, they are no longer active (other links, bookmarks remain intact).

Finally, I found out how to add a file to an existing package programmatically by using JavaScript (function: app.execMenuItem("AddFileAttachment")). Thanks for your help Ironsenth. However, I need to specify the file to attach programmatically and I can't figure out how to do it.
Could you let me know where I can find this information (what document to read)? Is there any parameters for the 'AddFileAttachment' method?
