How to retain the text in "text edit" element of abap webdynpro

Hi all,
I have a requirement where i need to preserve the text in the "case" user has entered.As of now it automatically gets converted into upper case.
eg:user enters "Hello World"
it is getting saved as "HELLO WORLD".I don want this case conversion to happen.
Kindly respond.
PS:Suitable points will be rewarded for helpful answers.

ur text edit is binded to some context attribute and attribute has some data type ,
u can save the data as lower case means the upper case conversion will not be done by checking the lower case property of domain.
create a domain with the data type u want , in the defination tab set the check box lower case . and then create a data element using this domain and use it ...

There are two basic Title formats — I should say Layouts — available: Text (plain) and Paragraph. (The plain text version usually does not appear with the blue dot controls — those generally appear for the paragraph type control.)
If the Title is using a Paragraph layout, it's like having a mini version of Text Edit available inside FCPX. You can tell when you click on the text (when the title is selected) -- a rectangle will appear around the text like so:
double clicking on the text will give you the bounds controls which you can use to redefine the text area without distorting the text. Once selected, notice the button that appears in the top right corner of the canvas:
Pressing that will activate the ruler. You can right click on the ruler and add Tab Stops (left, right, center and decimal.)
So if the title uses paragraph formatting, you can create a very WYSIWYG type of display text (use the Text inspector to alter text selections within the paragraph bounds.)

May I know how to change the color of texts inside the indicator box?

Can anyone tell me how to change the color of texts inside the indicator box? I have tried to use property node but not really know how it functions.
In fact, I am writing a program for which the number inside indicator on front panel will show red color if the measured value can't reach the requirement. I am using LabView 6.1 Professional

Simply use a property node with "NumText.TextColor" and wire the correct color depending on your test result.

How to change the output as text format in Apps R12.1.3

Hi All,
Currently iam trying to modify the Java Concurrent Program (FDExtractAndFormatting) in Batch Payment Process. This Program is generated in text format in 11i APPS. Now we are upgrading to R12.1.3. In R12.1.3 output is coming as PDF format. Here my requirement is how to change the output as text format in R12.1.3 also.
Please do the needful and suggest me.

1. It is seeded java concurrent program. Some attributes are missing from 11i to R12. In 11i it is a text format.So i have to investgate on how to retrive those attributes in R12. What is the concurrent program name?
Have you tried to change the output and submit the request?
2. Once all are attributes are coming in PDF format. Client wants to open same output in text format as it is 11i (In R12 it is generated in PDF format).If the above does not help, please log a SR.

Can any one let me know how to customize the web item TEXT ELEMENTS. When we place the web item Text element in the web template, it displays the query details and the info provider details.
I question is I do not want to list all the list that is displayed in the text elements. I want to see only part of the list....can any one whether this is possible or not..if possible how...?

How to retain the work item in inbox of user if user press the icon cancel?

HI,
we are using a text editor in approval section of workflow where the user needs to enter the reason for apporval or rejection.
the requirement is how to retain the work item in inbox of user if user press the icon cancel? there are two icons in editor,one is ok(tick marg) and cancel(cross mark).
so when user dont enter any text in the editor and press on cancel icon,then approval/rejection should not authorize and work item will remain in the user's inbox .unless and untill he enters the text.
i have tried LEAVE TO TRANSACTION 'SBWP'.leave program etc but nothing is working.
please guide me.

How to retain the same resolution while croping a tiff image using jai api

Hi all,
I have designed a program to crop a tiff image.But after croping the tiff,the resultant file resolution is not the same as the original source file.
In the program,the source file Nadeshiko_v1_02.tif has the resolution(X) of 1200 DPI and resolution(Y) has 1200 DPI pixels.
But after croping the resolution of output file is 100 DPI.
Please give me some idea on how to retain the same resolution.

I have done it, but is it possible to write MDX in Answer? I also look at the 'EVALUATE_AGGR' function in 'Edit Column Formual'.
The reason I want to do is that some column is dynamical calculation.
For example:
I want to Count Store for Sales,so in ESSBASE it has one flag column,if one store has sales in one day, it will be '1', else '0'.
However, it sum the flag column in ESSBASE Or logical layer in OBIEE for MDX, it will generate wrong result when I select several days.
The expected result is that I want to calculate MAX store count in several days, not sum. How to write MDX? Thanks.
The current case is as below:
I select one day , it will be correct result, such as 1600 stores.
If I select one more days, it will be sum stores in these days, not MAX. such as 4700 stores(3 days).

I would suggest try invoking REFRESH of ALV on the ON_CELL_ACTION event.

Thks for the contribution. However, it seems I cannot solve my problem with the kindly proposed solution.
Let me rephrase my problem:
I off-line prepare, organize photos and also add manually individual photo captions with PE12 Organizer. In the properties panel, I can check that the photo properties (including captions) are properly associated with the photo.
However when I upload on Revel -directly with PE12 Organizer (selecting Share/Private Web Album)- these individual (accordingly captioned) photos or albums, I cannot find the photo captions (i.e. the photo caption did not directly show up with the photo in Revel). This obliges me to a double work by copying and pasting each photo caption.
Is there any plan to get rid of that ?
Let me add that I am using the French version of PE12
