How to revert back of secondary indexes created?

Hi all,
I have craeted secondary indexes in development and they have been transported into quality and production. Some dumps are coming in the production because of these secondary indexes.
Please guide me how to revert back those secondary indexes from production(means to keep original with out that secondary indexes?)
Please give me solution.
Regards,
Lokesh

Hello,
The best way to do this is delete the indexes again in DEV and create a transport request.
Transport this request to QA and PRD and the index will be deleted.
Via SE14 you can also delete the index immed in PRD.
SE14 will only delete the index from the database (shortdumps will disappear then).
Afterwards you can still use SE11 to delete the index from the SAP repository as well.
Success.

  • How to revert back previous working files in InDesign CS6?

I have suddenly replace wrong working files, how to revert back previous working files in InDesign CS 6?
    OS Mac version: 10.10.3
    InDesign CS6 version

This feature does not exist in InDesign. You're best hope is that you have a backup of the previous file. Moving forward, you might want to try a free product called Radish that allows you to save versions and revert back to previous versions when needed. Here's a blog post I wrote about the product Story Versioning in InCopy | InCopySecrets.

  • How to revert back the changes that have made to Infoset

    Dear Experts,
Can any one help me with solution for the below issue?
I have activated(checked) some navigational attributes to the infocube "XYZ".This "XYZ" infocube is used in Infoset and as well as in multiprovider.Instead of activating navigational attributes in the infoset ,mistakenly i have removed the infocube and reassigned(reconnected with previous settings) in the infoset. Now i realized that the technical reference names in infoset(For ex:"ABC_F12,ABC_F13") got changed and giving the problem in Multiprovider. And there are n number of queries build based on the multiprovider.
While iam trying to activate the inactived Multiprovider iam getting an error message saying "inactive infoobjects ...(.ABC_F12,ABC_F13 are not available)....
Can any body help me how to revert back the changes for the Infoset that i have made or anyother process to sort out this issue.
    Earlier solutions will be appreciated.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Prathish.

    Hi,
If the changes have been saved, then there is no automatic way of reverting the changes. To get the Infoset in the reqd state, you will have to move an unchanged copy into the dev sys. The easiest way would be to transport a copy from the Prod sys. But first you have to check whether the transport path exists. With the help of Basis team, you can do this.
    wish u luck.

  • How to revert back the changes of a task in a change request ?

    Hello experts,
Our ABAP team made a script and they have locked a change request for it. Whatever changes made in that script are directly written in that change request through different tasks. Yesterday they opened the script and found that some of the data in that script is missing. The task entry shows that the data is still there which was missing, but I am not able to find out how to revert back those changes which are there in the task, so that the missing data can be brought back again in the script? Can someone please tell me how to solve this problem ?
    Regards,
    Sanket

    Hi,
If modification assistant was on while making the deletion, then the comment should exist for data which was deleted.
Else use the version history to display and recover the lost version.
For eg SE38 -> Give report name -> Display. Utilities -> Versions -> Version Management
Should show all the TRs which changed the object and can compare/restore versions too.

  • How to revert back to not require rasterize for Photoshop?

I used to be able to color any Text, shape, or image by just selecting the particular layer and use pain bucket tool for example. Not sure what I clicked, but recently when I try to do the same; I always get the message
"This type Layer must be rasterized before proceeding. Its text will no longer be editable. Rasterize the type? "
I do not want to rasterize. Can I know how to revert back to the normal setup where I can do the coloring without the need for rasterize please.
It also seems to mess around with my selection.
For example - I have a circle shape in the middle with transparent background.
I used to be able to go Select>All followed by Select>Inverse and it will select the circle shape.
But now it selects the entire canvas when I select all but returns the following error when I Select>Inverse
    "Warning No Pixels were selected".

    Type:
Double-click on the T in the type layer.
In Type Options bar click on the color swatch which will open the Color Picker.
    Choose a color and Commit.
The Type will remain vector and the color will have changed.
    Circle:
If the circle was drawn with the Elliptical Marquee tool, Edit > Stroke'd with a color and then had the marching ants deselected:
Click on the transparent area with the Magic Wand tool. If you want to include in that selection the inside of the circle unclick Contiguous in the Magic Wand Options bar.
Then, inverse your selection to select the circular line.

  • HT4904 Help! I hate this new install to Mountain Lion, how to revert back?

Any one has information on how to revert back to orignal software.

If it was Lion you didn't purchase it in 2010 in as much as Lion was released in summer of 2011. In any case Mountain Lion and Lion are so similar what's to "hate"?

I think you'll have to reinstall the OS from your Restore partition.

  • How to revert back to 10.6.8 from mavericks

How to revert back to 10.6.8 from mavericks, a lot of programs i need to use are unsupported by the new update.  what can i do to revert my imac back to the previous OSX

Why not simply udate your apps, it will be much easier in the long run if you do. However if you want to revert back to 10.6.8, then simply use your SL discs to reformat your HD, then update to 10.6.8 and then use Migration Assistant to migrate your apps and other data from your TM or bootable backup clone to your HD.
Going forward it's much wiser to do you due diligence before updating. You have old apps that are probably PPC based, Apple supported those until Lion was released 2  years ago. The longer you wait to update those apps the more painful upgrading will be in the future.

That depends. If the phone was unlocked by the carrier, then it should be fine.
If your phone was unlocked by unauthorized means, then yes, it will be locked again.

  • How to revert back to OS X 10.2

I was updating my iTunes on the software update panel, but did not notice that the update OS X 10.4 was also selected. It erased everything that was on my desktop. How can I revert back to OS X 10.2 and recover my files?

Unfortunately, there is no way to revert, unless you have your system backed up on another drive. But an update shouldn't erase any files. Have you searched /Users to see if it's possible another user account was created. If that's the case follow the instructions in this support topic.
If that's not the case, it is very unusual. Your best shot at recovery is Prosoft Data Rescue. There is a free trial to see if it can recover what you need. But don't do another process on that drive until you've downloaded and run it.

  • How to rename database with secondary indexes.

    Hi,
could somebody advise how to run correct next operation:
I have database with secondary indexes in a single file and I need to rename that db file.
As I understand I have to
    1) close and delete all database handles
    2) remove from db file all secondary indexes with DbEnv::dbremove
    3) rename db file with DbEnv::dbrename
    4) create primary db
    5) create once again all secondary indexes and associate them with primary db
    Appreciate in advance.

    Hi,
Your question has two possible cases:
    1. A single file contains main DB and its secondary indexes.
    2. A file contains several secondary indexes of main DB, another file contains the main DB.
For the first case, the main database could be renamed directly, but all of the secondary databases do not continue to work. That means no new index items will be added automatically into exist secondary databases. So these secondary databases should be removed and created, you could also just run a DB->associate to re-associate it again. But in the later way, the re-associated secondary DB won't automatic index these records that are added before associating.
That means, if main db is renamed and then inserted a record 'A'. Then secondary DB is re-associated to main db. The secondary DB still does not index record 'A'. And currently there is not method to let secondary DB manually index 'A' again. So it is better to remove and create a new secondary DB with DB_CREATE flag. That will make the new secondary DB scan current items and index them.
For the second case, the result is the same, main database could be remained directly. Then all of the secondary databases should be re-created or re-associated. Still for the described reason, we prefer the first way.
And, removing old secondary databases before renaming main database is also work in above cases.
    Thanks,
    Victor Yang

  • How to combine spatial and secondary index, when extracting?

    Hi spatiallers,
    vers.: (32 bit) Oracle9i Enterprise Edition Release 9.2.0.1.0 - Production on Sun/SunOS 5.8 (64 bit)
In our DataWarehouse the table topo_geodata stores all topographic data in Denmark. The table has a spatial index (QT) on its SDO_geometry column named utm_geo as well as a primary key on the column topo_geo_id and 4 secondary indexes on other columns.
The query to find all geomtries in a given munipalicy is as follows
    select count(*) as antal_AnyInteract_topo_geodata
    from topo_geodata k, topo_geodata tg
    where SDO_RELATE(tg.utm_geo, k.utm_geo, 'mask=AnyInteract querytype= WINDOW') = 'TRUE'
    and k.topo_geo_id = 961 -- geometry of a municipality
and it returns a count of 19445 in 4 minuttes. However our users are only interested in extracting certain object types, that is a very small subselection of the 19445 geometries. The subselection is typically based on some value or a range of values in the secondary indexed columns.
Question: How can I make the SELECT use a combination of the spatial index index and a secondary index?
Only when a pinpoint 1 particular value of the primary key do I get fast response. When pinpointing 1 value in a secondary index as in
    select count(*) as antal1
    from topo_geodata k, topo_geodata tg
    where SDO_RELATE(tg.utm_geo, k.utm_geo, 'mask=AnyInteract querytype= WINDOW') = 'TRUE'
    and k.topo_geo_id = 961 -- Gladsaxe
    and tg.mtk_obj_id = 58476 -- has secondary index
the performance deteriorates back to 4 min., and the queryplan shows some weird bitmap conversion followed by a bitmap-and operation.
    - Thanks in advance,
    Jens Ole Jensen
    Kort & MatrikelStyrelsen (WWW: http://www.kms.dk)

    Hi Jens,
I'm not sure I understand the question, or what it is that works fast.
In this case, the SDO_RELATE with the anyinteract mask has to be done first.
If this takes 4 minutes, then adding additional criteria to reduce the amount of
data returned from that subset will only add time.
The spatial portion of the query has to be done using the spatial index, which is
a monolithic index for the whole table, so all of the geometry data has to be searched,
and the anyinteract applied to all of this data.
After that set of rows comes back, then the additional predicate is applied.
I'm not sure what this means:
Only when a pinpoint 1 particular value of the primary key do I get fast response. You do have a few options to try to make things work faster:
If queries included additional predicates on mtk_obj_id, you might try
    to use range partitioning.
If the predicates on mtk_obj_id is very selective, then you might want to select
values based on that column, then use sdo_geom.relate between that very
small subset and the query window.
Hope this helps, and all is well with you.
    Dan

  • Anyone know how to revert back to the previous iTune?

anyone knows how to go back to the previous iTunes?

    =Downgrading from iTunes 11 to iTunes 10.7=
You may be able to go back with Time Machine but this may involve restoring other items too (https://discussions.apple.com/message/20441404).  Alternatively:
Back up your computer first, in case the unexpected happens.
    Quit iTunes.
Get iTunes 10.7 from http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1576 or the direct download link at:  http://appldnld.apple.com/iTunes10/041-7195.20120912.d3uzQ/iTunes10.7.dmg
Do a few preparatory steps by making sure all iTunes components are not running and cleaning old files.   See https://discussions.apple.com/message/20475394.  Do steps 3 and 4.  Steps 6-8 may be also useful but I don't know if they are essential.  Some of the other steps are not necessary, duplicate steps listed later in my post or are perhaps even unhelpful in the process.
Replace the iTunes 11 application with iTunes 10.7.  Simply dragging the application to the trash may not work. Lion (OSX 10.7) and newer systems have iTunes integrated into the operating system and deleting is a bit more involved.  Two ways to do this are:
    1.  Use the shareware Pacifist utility (http://www.charlessoft.com/) to install iTunes 10.7 including all associated system files. Details at http://forums.macrumors.com/showpost.php?p=16400819&postcount=6
    2. Check this reference on how to delete the iTunes application itself:
Delete iTunes in Mac OS X 10.7 Lion - http://osxdaily.com/2011/09/13/delete-itunes-in-mac-os-x-10-7-lion/
After deleting the application there may be other files that need downgrading too. See the note about error -42408 at the end of this post. You may want to tuck these away somewhere safe until you have completed the installation of iTunes 10.7.  I have not tested this but ideally if newer versions are not found then the installer will put in the old versions. This may include these files in /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/ which apparently get updated by iTunes 11:
    AirTrafficHost.framework
    CoreFP.framework
    DeviceLink.framework
    iTunesAccess.framework
    MobileDevice.framework
After doing one of the two procedures above you will have to rescue the most recent old iTunes library from your iTunes > Previous Libraries folder. Rename it "iTunes Library.itl"  and replace the existing one in the iTunes folder. A newer version of iTunes irreversibly updates your library file so you have to replace it with the old one or you will get an error message. Note, this will revert your library to the version at the time of the upgrade and you will have to update any changes made since.  See:
https://discussions.apple.com/message/20401436 - turingtest2 11/2012 post on rebuilding empty/corrupt library from previous iTunes library file after upgrade/crash.

    Other issues:
    - https://discussions.apple.com/message/20432309 - solution to mobile devices saying they need to be restored after downgrading
    - If you encounter error -42408:
iTunes: Advanced iTunes Store troubleshooting - http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3297 > Specific Conditions and Alert Messages: (Mac OS X / Windows) - including specific error codes.
Alternatively, check https://discussions.apple.com/message/20441424 which requires you have a Time Machine backup (though possibly if you remove the newer version of these files old ones may be installed with the iTunes 10.7 installer - untested).  A  variant of this is at: https://discussions.apple.com/message/20448184
    - Persistent "Show in iTunes Store" arrows after downgrade - https://discussions.apple.com/thread/4567064
