How to run an embedded broker?

I want to start an embedded OpenMQ broker to use as a destination for messages which are sent as part of a test run by Maven. Essentially I want a broker to be started within the same JVM when the tests are run so I don't have to insure that a broker is available before running the tests. Is this possible, and if so how would I configure it in a Spring application? Now I am starting my broker using a connection factory which uses the port and user/password of a broker which is already running on my local machine. I am not using a broker which runs as part of Glassfish, I want to run OpenMQ broker outside of Glassfish.

Thanks Tom. I used to do this before with ActiveMQ and I was assuming that it could also be done with OpenMQ outside of Glassfish. The approach you have described is what I'm doing now. I guess I could set up my tests to use an embedded ActiveMQ broker for testing and then switch to OpenMQ when deploying the application within Glassfish.

Also put root in the dba group.
The permissions turn out like this:

I stopped the listener, bounced the database, and started the listener again.
But it still shows the process being owned by oracle:

we are having problems with showing certain PDF characters, resulting in # (ÂăãÆæßČč¢ results in Â#ãÆæß##¢).
Within the (user)config.xml you can add Fonts, see code, but how to run it from the XSQLFOPSerializer ????.
We copied the Arial Window fonts to Linux.
I tried several things but nothing worked, see code:

OpenMQ embedded broker in Maven JUnit

I have standalone application wich interacts with OpenMQ through JMS. Maven build tool is used. I want to write JUnit tests checking application interaction with OpenMQ. For this purpose I want to use OpenMQ embedded broker. I found https://mq.dev.java.net/4.4-content/embedded-example.html guide. With minor changes I implemented embedded broker. But it's not work as described in guide.
At first it appear to me that it cann't create necessary directories and I've added
new File("target/openmq/var/instances/imqbroker").mkdirs();
but later I understood that for some reason it's not creating directories and files which should create itself.
I browsed the sources code and found, that Broker.start() method return value ignored during embedded broker creation. It seems to be a bug.
I receive broker event 'READY : Broker has been started' but actually it don't starts and jms port 7676 close.
Please, look at my code and tell me what's wrong with it?

To start build process put libraries defined in lib/dir.txt from OpenMQ distribution to project lib directory. Then use

The next question: is it possible start embedded broker without OpenMQ locally installed? Which libraries should I put in dependencies to run embedded broker in JUnit tests?

How to run EJB session beans outside of a container

I m trying to run in a testcase some EJB such as Session stateless, Session stateful of entities. For this last one, everythin works fine. Unfortunately, I cant figure out how to run and retrieve by JNDI my session beans.
I itried to run my beans in the JBOSS embedded EJB runtime, and it works fine.
It would be nice I anyone could give me some explanations or a link about this subject :)

i am using below code for this it is throwing exception 'Get-AssignedAccess' doesn't exist in cmdlet which is correct because these commands belongs to function category.

I know this doesn't help you much, but, I think you have to see if your Mac pro does audio out via HDMI. I don't even know if mine does via DVI. I think it may have to do with the adapter. Try going into Audio MIDI and setting the digital out to multichannel
and using the toslink cable for now. Lemme see...apparently DVI does not carry audio at all. Hm. apparently monoprice could be helpful? If I understand what you're saying correctly: you want to take DVI and multichannel audio via the Toslink and have it all go out over HDMI, right? Though you can initiate the binary from your client side but for the file creation, there is no other way but to store it on the server side. So your best bet would be to get some space free on the server side of yours.

So far, you haven't specified your rdbms version and isqlplus behaved differently on a 9iR1, 9iR2 from the one release on 10gR1/R2. on 9i it was a servlet based on a JServ servlet executor machine, meanwhile on 10g it is a J2EE compliant application deployed on an OC4J container, so configuration is different.

How to run the form that is only installed on a PC and not using a server?

I am new to Oracle and have taken the forms class. But I do not understand how to run the form from my PC using XP windows. (Do not have access to a server).
I have started the OC4J, made sure the listener was started, compiled the form and then when I run it, it automatically goes to the HTTP:
ERROR: res://ieframe.dll/acr_depnx_error.htm#,http://kevin:8889/forms/frmservle
I connected to the database correctly. I can process a report and it does nor try to access the internet. My only issue is running the form. I verified it compiled.
Sorry for a basic question. Could someone please help, I tried reviewing other questions, but not sure if they are connecting to a server or not.
I see webutil but is it required if I don't have a server? Thank you in advance.

Regardless of the version, it appears that you may not have configured the Builder. Do the following:
1. Open the Builder
2. From the menu, select Edit > Preferences > Runtime
3. In the box labeled "Application Server URL:", enter a local URL needed to run a form OR click the button labeled "Reset to Default". If you decide to manually enter a value, it would looks something like this:
http://localhost:8889/forms/frmservlet
4. In the field labeled "Web Browser Location:", enter the path and executable to your preferred browser. So for example if IE is your browser of choice the entry would most likely look like this:
C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\IEXPLORE.EXE
5. Click on OK and retest.
By the way, you can manually enter a URL in the browser. Clicking the RunForm button from the Builder is strictly optional. To run the "test" form directly from the browser enter the following into the browser's address field:
http://localhost:8889/forms/frmservlet?form=test
