How to run an external TimeDate class

package
     public class TimeDate
var my_date:Date = new Date();
trace(my_date:Date);
mc_time.txt_displayDateTime.text = my_date:Date;
Hi, I have a rough idea about displaying TimeDate in actionscript external class. Something like that above, but Im not sure what things did I miss out. I actually want it to display in mc_time.txt_displayDateTime(located at my main.fla stage). I'm not sure how to retrieve the TimeDate from the external class in my main.fla. Also displaying the TimeDate in mc_time.txt_displayDateTime and update the time every sec?

Hi,
I'm getting these errors:

    Hi,
    It is because the converter works on byte code and it only supports a subset of the Java language (see the JC specifications). It is kind of like compiling you code on Java 6 and trying to run it on Java 5. The JCDK outlines the required compiler version.

  • How To Run Dual External Displays

    Hello,
    I have a MacBook Pro 13". I am wondering if it is possible to run dual external monitors? I have the MiniDisplayPort To DVI adapter, works great with one monitor, but can I run dual? Thanks.

    You could try plugging in this USB adapter, it says you can plug in up to six per computer. If you want two externals, you should only need one of those USB adapters because the first monitor should be plugged into your superior onboard DisplayPort.
    Just bear in mind that when you use these USB adapters, the top resolution supported will be lower than the DisplayPort and also it will be a lot slower. Playing games or editing video/animation might not work well on the adapters as cheap as you want.

    No XML required, but you must put the class into a package.
    Packages are folders with some files that identify whats in them, so you will end up with something like

  • How to run jsp file in Apache Tomcat 5.0?

    hi,
    i'm using jdk1.5,jsp1.2 & Apache Tomcat 5.0 as a web server.in my application i have 2 jsp files,1 html file & 1 javabean class.where i must place the html,jsp files and the .java file & .class file for a bean class.how to run this application.
    bean class:
    public class Userdata {
    private String username;
    private String email;
    private int age;
    public void setUsername( String value )
    username = value;
    public void setEmail( String value )
    email = value;
    public void setAge( int value )
    age = value;
    public String getUsername() { return username; }
    public String getEmail() { return email; }
    public int getAge() { return age; }
    getname.html file:
    <HTML>
    <BODY>
    <FORM METHOD=POST ACTION="Savename.jsp">
    What's your name? <INPUT TYPE=TEXT NAME=username SIZE=20><BR>
    What's your e-mail address? <INPUT TYPE=TEXT NAME=email SIZE=20><BR>
    What's your age? <INPUT TYPE=TEXT NAME=age SIZE=4>
    <P><INPUT TYPE=SUBMIT>
    </FORM>
    </BODY>
    </HTML>
    savename.jsp file:
    <jsp:useBean id="user" class="Userdata" scope="session"/>
    <jsp:setProperty name="user" property="*"/>
    <HTML>
    <BODY>
    Continue
    </BODY>
    </HTML>
    nextpage.jsp file:
    <jsp:useBean id="user" class="Userdata" scope="session"/>
    <HTML>
    <BODY>
    You entered<BR>
    Name: <%= user.getUsername() %><BR>
    Email: <%= user.getEmail() %><BR>
    Age: <%= user.getAge() %><BR>
    </BODY>
    </HTML>
    refer these source code and plz,give the result at the earliest.
    whether i want to write a web.xml file for this jsp file.
    if yes,means plz present the web.xml file for this application.
    plz,if anybody knows give me detailed description for this application.

    create a dir under webapps dir
    place your .html and .jsp files here
    also create WEB-INF dir here
    Under WEB-INF create classes and lib dir
    under classes dir put your .class file
    You also need to put web.xml under your WEB-INF dir.
    You ca keep your java file any where u want on your computer.

  • How do i run an external monitor with my macbook and change settings so that when i close the lid the signal to the monitor is not lost and i can continue using the mac with a mouse and a wireless keyboard?

    How do i run an external monitor with my macbook and change settings so that when i close the lid the signal to the monitor is not lost and i can continue using the mac with a mouse and a wireless keyboard?

    No, nothing will prevent the computer from going to sleep when you close its display except third-party hacks that are designed to do exactly that. I strongly advise against using any of those, as they may interfere with successful entry into clamshell mode (and they carry other downside risks as well). Just wait until the computer is asleep (with its sleep light pulsing), then press any key on the keyboard. It sounds as though your setup is working as it's designed to do.
