A fairly easy way, you can add your script to the 'Scripts' menu, then create an action that calls this script (use 'Insert Menu Item' to add to your action) and call this action through a batch in Bridge. One issue with this, though, is that it does require creating an action to specifically call the script, I don't know if you can call the script directly from Bridge.
I haven't scripted Bridge at all myself, but I believe you should also be able to rewrite your script to get the selection in Bridge, and process those files in Photoshop.
If your script is set up to process one file at a time, the Bridge/Batch technique is the simplest way to do it.
If your script needs to know what all of the files are before it can begin processing, you have to add a Menu element in Bridge and have it call your action/script in Photoshop. A bit more complicated, but there are a lot of examples of this at ps-scripts.com.

  • How to run .EXE files from Linux Portal page?

    We have an IIS web server that runs a Photoshow_player.exe slide show program. I'm not sure if this can run from Linux Portal, but we are trying.
    The link in an IIS web page looks like this:
    <a> href="file:///\\mulsrv22\share\PCS\PhotoshowPlayer.exe" title="clean slate">clean slate</a>
    Portal is installed and running from two Linux servers. If I create a link using the above syntax, I get "can not display page" browser errors.
    I copied the entire PCS directory from the Windoz box to a Portal web_dav folder, but running the .EXE link from that Portal page gives errors indicating that the /PDS/data/.XML and /PCS/data/.jpg files can not be found.
    Any ideas on how I can run this slide show from Linux Portal?
    Thanks.

    Hi!
    I have some questions about CopyApp utility. I am trying to Copy TestApp to Prod application. Those applications are on different Planning servers. Sql databases are on the same sql server. Olap applications cubes are on different essbase servers.
    Is this syntax correct: (I think I can run this on Planning production server, or should I use Planning test server or does it matter when I use properties file???)
    CopyApp /S:TestApp /T:ProdApp /P:\\D:\Hyperion\Planning\bin\Copyapp.properties
    In the Copyapp properties file (using Sql):
    Is this correct syntax (referring to syntax above, left out usernames and passwords etc)
    App_JDBC_CATALOG=TestApp
    App_JDBC_DRIVER=hyperion.jdbc.sqlserver.SQLServerDriver
    App_JDBC_URL=jdbc:hyperion:sqlserver://XXX

  • HOw to run Applet in browser.

    Hi guys. I've got 2 problems.
    1. In Window, I've got Java installed (and using NetBean IDE as Java editor), so of course I've got j2sdk_nb-1.4.2 installed as well. But I couldn't run any applet in IE, for example, in games.yahoo.com, I couldn't join any game because applet always failed to load. But yesterday, I've got a pop up asking to install jre1.4.2 and after install this JRE, everything works fine. My point here is, when I have SDK1.4.2 which contains JRE, why should I have to install new JRE to run applets ?
    2. Could anyone tell me how to run applet in Mozilla, Linux. I'm using Linux RedHat 9 as well. And in Redhat, I've got J2sdk_nb-1.4.2 installed with NetBeans IDE. It said that I need appropriate Plugs-in, but in my Java directory, I also found Plugsin directory. So how to configure Mozilla to run applet.
    Thanks for reading.

    Just to let you guys know that I sorted it out already. Well, the problem lies in I'm confused between two directory /usr/lib/Mozilla and /usr/lib/Mozilla and two Java plugs-in available in nsc60 and nsc60-gcc (don't remember exactly)
    For my Linux (Red Hat 9), I've got to create symbol link from nsc60 directory to /usr/lib/Mozilla, not any other way.
    Thanks

  • How to install KVM on the ARM-Linux?

    How to install KVM on the ARM-Linux?

    I think you'll have some problems with 128MB RAM.....<br><br>
    :P Nonsense, but I do hope that hard drive is one of those new, fancy flash hard drives, otherwise the system will spend so much time swapping that it won't get past the installer.

  • How to run Java Swing GUI on embedded ARM Linux platform?

    The object is:
    A touch panel, running Java Swing GUI, with a 25 fps 320x320 mono JPEG image animation and other control buttons.
    What I have now:
    A Developing Board with: ARM926 CPU at 266MHz, 128M RAM, 64M ROM, ported with arm-linux and MiniGUI.
    My plan is:
    1. installing a X-window system to the platform, discarding the MiniGUI.
    2. install j2re-1.3.1-RC1-linux-arm.tar.bz2 to the platform.
    3. run my program developed on a PC.
    My concerns are:
    1. Both X and Java is resource consuming, can a 266MHz ARM CPU meet my requirement?
    2. Is the X a must to run Java Swing GUI? If yes, how can I configure it to minimize the footprint, I mean, install only necessary modules.
    3. Can J2RE 1.3.1, the only port for arm linux, support Swing classes?
    4. Are there other options, such as CDC + PP(AGUI?), how to do it?
    Thanks alot!

    3. Can J2RE 1.3.1, the only port for arm linux, support Swing classes?I'm not entirely sure from your post: is this a J2SE port? If so it will support Swing, but probably needs Qt.

  • How to run a server program in the background on Linux or Windows?

    I just finished writing a Java network application with multiple clients and one server.
    However, I am not sure how I can run the server (SomeServer.class) in the background on Windows. Also when I am running it on Linux, I don't want it to terminate when I logout of the Linux shell.
    To run the server on Linux, should I use a command like this?
    nohup java -cp . SomeServer.class > output.txt &
    Or is there another command, or perhaps some code that I can add to the program so that it would run in the background automatically and/or continues even when I logout of the Linux shell??
    Sometimes, I also like to run the program on a Windows XP machine for testing purpose. How can I do it so that it runs in the background without openning a Console/Command Prompt window??
    (redirecting the standard output to a file)
    And is there an easy way to create a EXE file that runs the program with the default JRE in windows?

    On many UNIX systems there's a utility called detach which will launch the following command in such a manner that killing the shell will not kill the process. On systems that lack this command, I'd find an open source implementation and install it.
