How to save a PDF File if you create it in lifecycle and view it in adobe reader 9.

I am having a issue with a file that I created in Adobe lifecycle and then tried to fill out the form in adobe reader 9.
Here is the big issue I can fill out the form but can not save the information that I put in the form. It will only allow me to save a blank copy of the form. It tells me that in order to keep the information I must fill the form out and print a copy. How do I change the setting on the Life cycle version in order to allow people to keep a electronic copy of the PDF if they olny have adobe reader 9? I anyone know how to get that done please let me know.
Here is what software I have:
Adobe pro 9
Adobe lifecycle designer ES 8.2
Adobe reader 9
Adobe distiller 9
Adobe photo shop elements 3.0

You might be way past this step but if you view it in adobe acrobat 8 or later
toolbars up top
advanced>Enable usage rights in adobe reader.

    Hi,
    Try the following code
    FORM gui_upload.
      DATA: lv_filetype(10) TYPE c,
            lv_gui_sep TYPE c,
            lv_file_name TYPE string.
      lv_filetype = 'PDF'.
      lv_file_name = <name of ur file>.
    DATA: tb_file_data TYPE TABLE OF text4096.
    * FM call to upload file
      CALL FUNCTION 'GUI_UPLOAD'

          filetype                = lv_filetype
          has_field_separator     = lv_gui_sep
        TABLES
          data_tab                = tb_file_data

    *         WITH SY-MSGV1 SY-MSGV2 SY-MSGV3 SY-MSGV4.
      ENDIF.
    ENDFORM.                    "gui_upload
    I dont think you can save the data into sap tables in PDF format.
    With the above code you can save data into an internal table.

  • How to: Save many PDF files containing images as jpeg

    I have a whole lot of PDF files that only contain images. I need them to be in jpeg format however.
    To convert them I'd need to open all theses pdf files in Preview and then "save as" jpeg. This does the job wonderfully.
    But it only does so for one pdf/image at a time. There's no way I can do this for all the files.
    I need to preserve the pdf files' names, too, so I can't combine the files and insert them into one pdf. This would result in having jpegs all right, but with names that do not represent the original file names.
    How can I batch process this with Preview?
    I tried the Automator but haven't found any way of doing it there.
    Does anyone have an idea how to accomplish that?

    Hi PPAC,
    What version of Windows are you running? I found another thread about this particular issue, with two possible solutions. One is to make sure that you're logged in as an administrator, and the other is to change the compatibility to earlier version of Windows. (Right-click the Acrobat application icon, choose Properties, and then choose compatibility.)
    I'm also curious what export settings you're choosing when you save as JPEG...
    Best,
    Sara

  • How to save my PDF file from Acrobat to my document in my Adobe Reader in my iPad ???

    I can't save my file from the Acrobat to my iPad Adobe Reader ....... This make me difficult to save things in my iPad ..... I really need someone help !!!!

    You can move any pdf file from your computer to your Reader iOS app with the iTunes application using its sync capability. You can also place the pdf on the web and use Safari or email it to yourself (and use Mail) to get the pdf into Reader for iOS. When you get a link to a pdf you can tap the link to view the pdf file file. When viewing the pdf file you can tap the pdf file again and you will be given a choice of applications you can use to opening the pdf file in the app will transfer the pdf to the application's sandbox.

    I have uninstalled and reinstalled the most current edition of Adobe Reader (11.9), including the patch. When I open a PDF file, the screen is first grey, then viewable, but then the message "Adobe Reader has stopped working" comes up. How do I remedy this?

    RR,
    One thing often tried first is to create a new document and File>Place the corrupted one to see how much may be rescued that way (remember to tick Paste remembers Layers in the Layer palette flyout/dropdown first, and to untick it afterwards).
    Here is a website where you can see whether it can rescue the file, and if it can, you may pay for a subscription to have it done,
    http://www.recoverytoolbox.com/buy_illustrator.html
    and another similar website,
    http://markzware.com/adobe-software/fix-illustrator-file-unknown-error-occurred-pdf2dtp-fi le-recovery/
    As far as I remember, the former is for Win and the latter for Mac.
    Here are a few pages about struggling with it yourself:

    http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/500/cpsid_50031.html
    http://helpx.adobe.com/illustrator/kb/enable-content-recovery-mode-illustrator.html
    Failing a full recovery, hopefully you have one or more earlier versions and/or bits of artwork saved before it happened.

  • How can I display pdf file details on 64-bit Windows 7 detail view?

    I'd like to display some pdf file details in order to classify them by author, title, subject... This option was simply possible for pdf file on windows xp (just by selecting the desired details on detail view when exploring folders) but it seems to be impossible for windows 7 (It's possible for other file like *.jpg, mp3...). Is there a program or a plugin to solve this problem? Thank you very much.

    It would appear, very annoyingly, that Acrobat is still lagging in the x64 department! It will, at the moment, only run as an x86 sub.....

    My scenario is, " A form is created in the EP and a HR person give the input/mandatory field employee number in that form so he gets the details of the employee and he edit some of the fields in the form and he gives his comments, then he press "submit" button."
    Note: The edited fields are not stored in any table.
    At this point my workflow will trigger using the event "POSITIONCHANGE" using the business object "BUS1065". Now i have to send a notification to 5 persons along with the pdf form as a attachment which is created by the initator in a display mode.
    My Questions are:
    1. How can i get that pdf form which is created by the intiator in EP to my workflow.
    2.Then how can i attach this form in the mail.

    I got the pdf into my workflow in a binary data and i passed this binary data to the function module so_document_attacthment_ap1.

  • PDF files which stored in document library cannot be opened directly via Adobe Reader

    When I open PDF files(Clicking on the "..." ellipsis actions menu and then selecting "Open") that are stored in the library of SharePoint2013 , it caused "An error occurred on the server ". However, in the Search
    Center , I can open the same file from the search results. In search result, the action menu is not "Open", but "Edit ".

    I has developed a single server of OfficeWeb application server farm using HTTP.
    I am creating a OfficeWebAppsServer farm with the following command :
    New-OfficeWebAppsFarm-InternalURL "URL"-AllowHttp-EditingEnabled
    Client PC: Adoce Reader version 9.3.4 (update to the latest version 11 is failed too.)
    PS: I use SharePoint server 2013 standard version.
    Any help would be much appreciated.

    Hi,
    According to your post, my understanding is that when open pdf files in library, you got the following error ”
    An error occurred on the server”.
    Did you install the following hotfix package on your SharePoint 2013 servers:
    Description of the SharePoint Server 2013 hotfix package (Sts-x-none.msp): October 8, 2013.
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2825665
    You can install the above hotfix, then check whether it works.

  • Can't open pdf files in Safari browser windows (bank website window) after I installed Adobe Reader 11update on my Mac last night

    I previously had Adobe Reader 9, which worked perfectly.

    Here's EXACTLY what happens:  I am in a Safari browser website and try to open a pdf file (my bank statement).  When I click on the link I get this message in a black window: "Adobe Reader.  Before viewing a PDF file in this browser you must launch Adobe Reader and accept the End User License Agreement, then Quit and relaunch the browser."  So I launch Adobe Reader but there is no End User License Agreement to accept.  I have done this several times with no result.  I am using a MacBook Air with OS 10.9.4 and Safari 7.0.5.

  • How do I modify a PDF file that I created

    I'm using Adobe Acrobat Pro X with Windows 7 Professional 64 bit.
    From Adobe I selected 'Create' and choose 'PDF from File' and I selected a Word document.
    Adobe converted the Word document to a PDF and it look great!!!!!
    I want to modify the PDF file and change the 'text', but it will not let me.
    Will I have to convert the Word document to a PDF everytime I want to change 'text'?
    Thanks!

    If you are saying you created a form from the DOC file, that may be a bit of an issue. First, you would generally edit the label in just the way that was mentioned with the text edit tool. However, it may depend on how you created the form. The creation process is important and that may be the problem. If it was created with the Designer tool, then you can not edit anything in Acrobat. Designer creates a XML form that is not compatible with the Acrobat tools. You may be able to edit it in Designer, but not Acrobat. You should still be able to go back to WORD and recreate the PDF.
    If you created the form manually and don't want to deal with recreating the fields, the print the WORD doc to a new PDF using the Adobe PDF printer. Then open your form and use Replace pages to put the revised document behind the fields. The fields will remain intact.
    Again, if the form was created in Designer, you may have to do such changes in Designer.

  • How to check a PDF file for errors?

    I have created a PDF file manually. Adobe Reader shows an error message "The file is damaged but is being repaired." when I try to open this file.
    How can I check, what is wrong with this file? Is there any checker or some way to examine the file and find an error line?

    As of late 2009, there now IS a server-based PDF file checker.  It's called pdfHarmony, and it uses the Adobe PDF Library to open and check PDF files, reporting the warnings and error messages that an Adobe Reader user would encounter.

  • How can I save a PDF file sent to me in an attachment to my iPhone 5s

    How can I save a PDF file or word file sent to me as an attachment directly to my iPhone 5s so if I want to read it I don't have to dig into my ail every time?

    You will need to select the attachment and open in another app.  If you do not have any apps that support PDF, Adobe reader for iOS is free.
    For MS word files, you will need an app that supports those, like Documents to Go.
    There is not generic file storage area in iOS, so you need to "open in" an app that supports that file type so that app can then add the file to its sandboxed local storage area.
    If you need to markup the PDF, some good apps are GoodReader, iAnnotate, PDF Expert, GoodNotes - there are numerous others as well in the App Store.

  • How do I save a pdf file to my hard drive ?

    How do I save a pdf file to my hard drive ?  My CC statements are sent as a pdf file and I would like to save them.

    The same way you save ANY email attachment... which is going to depend on the email program you use... so check with support for your email program (or the help file to learn how to save an attachment)
    When you OPEN a PDF attachment, what program are you using... Acrobat or Reader... both have options to save files
