How to save a Synchronization report?

Good day,
I am new to an office and maintaining a very large web site.
Last week a employee deleted quite allot of it. Being new I have
the newest update of the entire site having just downloaded it days
before. However it is an active site with many people maintaining
ti and some things were updated after my download.
As I have the entire site, mine is the most up to date site
wide but not for all pages. So my site is being used as a benchmark
to recover the rest of the site. All responsible people have
uploaded their copies, we are now checking to see that actual
content is all there, while leaving off allot of test stuff that
was on it originally.
So after checking the main level folders I was told to run a
synchronization to see what pages I have that the server does not
to find missing files. This took most of a work day (it is a BIG
site). Then I was told to tell DW to ignore all files (we are just
checking and do not want to actually update anything yet) and then
print a log of the synch. The problem is the log simply states that
0 were updated and XXXX number of files were ignored... that is
all.
So the question we are faced is how do I save the synch log
listing all the files found, without uploading them? Or any
suggestions as to how to create a report that shows missing files
and versions as correct versions is important to. Broken links
reports give us far to much info.
Anyone have any suggestions and can someone from Adobe note
that the ability to save synch logs should be added like the report
logs. We are using DW 8.

If you're running XI 3.1 you might be able to solve this as follows.
1. Create four users: east, west, north, south
2. Create a profile that filters on the variable you used for the section/break
3. Publish the report
3.1 Set users created above to be the enterprise recipients
3.2 Add personalization (the profile created above)
3.3 Check the Deliver objects to each user in Destinations
(3.4 You could use %SI_OWNER% to get a nice suffix to the report name)
This should cause four reports to be created, each with its own "personalized" contents.

Background job runs in application server , and your local /network drive is basically presentation server. So you cant save it in local /network drive from the job itself. But to download files, you can write the files to the application server using DATASET, in the background and then use the transaction CG3Y in the foreground to download the file.

Dear DIAdem user,
unfortunately DIAdem can't save multi page TIFF files directly but there is a solution using VBScript.
The attached script solves the problem if your system fulfills the following system requirements:
Operating System: Windows XP with SP1
Installed "Windows Image Acquisition Library v2.0" (You can download this library from the Microsoft Download Center.)
The script first saves TIFF files from all lyout sheets in a loop. After that, one multi page TIFF file is created from all single page TIFF files by using the Windows Image Acquisition Library.

I have created Cost element and Cost centere reports using report painter. Both the reports consists of nine coloumns. I would like to have the report in the excel. I tried the folliwng options :
1. System -> List -> Save -> Local file
2. Settings -> Options -> Microsoft Excel
3. Print and then try to save using the spool request number using SP02.
But neither of the ways worked to download or save the file in the excel format.
Could anybody of you please help me out with this.

After executing the report, select from the top menu:
Report --> Export
In the export to presentation server screen, select spreadsheet as the export format and enter the file location and name in the output file section. Then hit enter or click on the green check mark.
another pop up box will show and this time click on continue.
It will now create the output. check the output location you have entered before for the file.

How to Save/Transport Crystal Reports 2013 reports in ECC (not BW)

Hi,
we are using Crystal Report 2013 and have reports which are based on ALV´s and SAP Tables directly.
I want to know if it´s possible to save the reports directly in the ECC system, with transport connection etc. and maybe the possibility to translate the reports later in another language.
I know the way when we have reports based on a BW system, there it is really easy and integrated.
But in this case we are on a normal ECC System, not a BW Enviroment.
At the moment we have the report rpt files locally.
Has someone already done this and or knows a tutorial what steps are to do? (connection, package, roles)

Make sure the drive is formatted Mac OS Extended (Journaled)
Do you want to merge these libraries into one? If so, then you'll need the paid version ($20) of iPhoto Library Manager
It's the only way to merge Libraries while preserving all metadata, versions and so on.
Otherwise, simply rename one of the Libraries (so they don't overwite each other) and Copy the iPhoto Library from the Pictures Folder to the External Disk. in each case.
To choose which library to open: holf down the option (or alt) key while launching iPhoto. From the resulting menu select 'Choose Library' and navigate to the new location.

i'm assuming that you have seen my post that i did successfuly save report in user's personal category.
Actually the report is created in webi java panel using RE SDK and is saved in Report Sample Folder then i'm saving it in user's personal category by following code

How to save Charts to a word document using LabVIEW Report Genereration toolkit?

I just started using the LabVIEW Report Genereration toolkit, but I can't figure out how to save Waveform Charts (one dimensional data versus time, instead of Graphs) to a Word document. Can somebody give a suggestion? Thanks!

In MS Word, you have 2 options when you select Insert Object:
Microsoft Excel Chart
Microsoft Graph 2000 Graph
If you select Insert Picture, you can choose Chart. This is the same chart as when you select Microsoft Excel Chart.
To insert this chart, you will use Word Insert Graph.vi. This VI calls Word_Insert_Chart.vi, that uses ADO object Graph.Chart and its properties and methods.

I'm sorry, I am a bit a confused about these all Open / Save menu items.
Okay, by now I created a report with User 1 and saved this by eTools->Save Dynamic Template (this saves the current report locally.) With eTools -> Open Dynamic Template I could open this template again (but only for User 1).
I start AdminClient and change the version of the Application Set, as well as I hit "Refresh Client-side dimension files".
Then I start the OffcieClient and logon with User 2.
Which menu must I open, to see the report which was originally created by user 1? I can't find it anywhere.
Any help is appreciated!

Which version of Crystal Reports are you using? Once you set a report to Landscape, and save the report, it should stay that way, unless you change to a different printer.

in Silverlight program, user click a link to SQL server report services link, it pops up a new IE window and ask for windows security.
Type the user name password in and check save password. reports showed and close IE. user click again, the same windows security popup dialog showed up. how to really remember the credentials?
If keep the IE open, reports shows in second tab of the same IE window for the second click, and it didn't ask for the windows security.

According to your description, users need to type username and password before they can open the SSRS report when reopening IE, right? If I have anything misunderstood, please point it out.
