How to search for data on the web and return to jsp

I need to collect data from a web site and return that data to my jsp file. The page should consist of a web page in which the user search for available flights then I conect to easyjet automatically fill in the form and return the result from easyjet.com to my jsp file..Do anyone know how can I do this?? I need to use java for this and not cgi..I found also some JavaScripts that can perform the same thing..Thanks...

Searching for Data in the Report for a non-selected column in display.

Hello,
I have an interactive report as given below:
select user, dept_name, sal, description, title from hr;
Now, in the report display options I remove the title and description from the display as you know title and description are 2000 characters each.
If I show then it takes the whole page to display one record and with this option I can search any text in the Title or Description columns.
Now, I have hidden these two columns and when I search I do not see any records.
Can any one tell me how to achieve this behaviour.
What I am looking is, I do not show the column 'TITLE' or 'DESCRIPTION' and user show be able to search for any important data inside these columns.
Please let me know how can we do this.
Please point me to an already published article or solution or any help on this type.
Appreciate your help on this.

As far as I can see this will not work. You could use a trick and make a query like this:
SELECT USER, dept_name, sal,
apex_item.hidden (10, mgrdescription || title)
|| '<img src="#IMAGE_PREFIX#some_nice_icon.gif">' title_description
FROM hrThis would not display the title and description but an image and it would give you a possibility to filter on those.

Search for documents in the web UI

We have created a new work center Z_CM which enables application component "CRM-IC-ARD", with a view "ICCMP_CM/CMSearch".
This view should incoporate the standard functionality, but I can't search for document descriptions.
Should I use our TREX, enterprise search? How do I enable document search in the web UI. I have not been able to find any documentation about this.
So do anyone have some info on this topic?

Firefox 5 Searching for images on the web is much slower than opera and my previous Firefox version. Can I turn off the useless zoom thing when I hover over an image for a few seconds?

OK, what I want to do is search for images with Google or similar search engine. This was fine in my previous FF version. The images just loaded as thumbnails, all the same size and I had to click on one to open it in a new tab or whatever I wanted to do. Now the images load all different sizes and if I hover for a moment over on, it zooms in a bit and gives me some image details. This slows image searching to the point of being very frustrating. I thought this might be a Google things, so tried other search engines. Tried switching Javascript off to speed things up, just blank grey rectangles displayed. Tried Opera and it loads basic images like Firefox used to, FAST...

The speed of image searching isn't a problem for me. The trouble is, the automatic zoom function is lightning fast and I find it disturbing to the point that it makes me feel very ill.
I very much want a way of suppressing it.

How to calculate a date in the future and set it as field value?

I'm trying to set the value of a read-only field to a date and time 72 hours from the current date and time. Here's how I'm doing it now:

The field is formatted as "m/d/yyyy h:MM tt". When I test this in the debugger I see it listing the correct date and time in the future, but the value applied to the field is always the current date and time. So, I'm having a difficult time getting this to work for something that should be fairly straight forward and simple. I'd appreciate any suggestions.

Even if this script is placed at the document level or any other location, it is still a calculation. It just not a field Custom Calculation Script. You are adding one value to another to get a new value.

How to search XML data from a HTTPMultiService and display the result on the Spark List

I am totally new to Flash Builder and Actionscript and hope someone might be able to help me out. I basically create a mobile app with a single view. The view has a TextInput as a search box and a search button. I conntected a Data/Service using a local XML file and bind the Data to a Spark List. Innitally the List will show nothing until the user enter the search term and hit the button. The List suppose to show the XML data that match the search term.
Now is my problem. I cannot make the List to show the data that match the search text. The List just shows ALL the data.

Create a variable as below:
[ctgt1type]=Count([type]) ForEach([username]) In Report>1
Then create a filter with this condition:
[ctgt1type]=1
This might work. I tried this with the Islands marketing universe selecting customer and country to display only customers with multiple countries. But your original soulton is more elegant and with report level filters more development and maintenance efforts are required

Go to Tcode se15 and expand ABAP Dictionary and then double click Data Elements, on the right hand side you will get Standard Selections, give ur description there and then press enter...

I like the possibility to add synonyms to the Tag, so I can find longer words or names that I shortcuted using a synonym (such as Nicknames, like using "Fry" as a synonym for Frederick Jones), but when it comes to import new content from that person and I enter "Fry" in the tagging line, it does not offer me "Frederick Jones". Is there an option to make the synonym available for tagging?

If you are a person who depends on synonyms (or spaces) in their keywords, I whole-heartedly recommend AnyFile.
