How to see Header values are passed as a part of a Message in BPEL Invoke

Hi,
I have passed some session id in the header of a invoke message.
In Audit trail I am not able to see those header values, its only showing the body of the request passed.
Is there any way I can see passed Header values also ?

    I hope you are following the below steps
    Create a variable of xsd type based on what data needs to be send as part of headers and assign the required values to the created variable.
    Assign the created variable to bpelx:inputHeaderVariable property of invoke activity(manually add the property from source view).
    bpelx:inputHeaderVariable="header request variable"
    <invoke name="InvAccountManagement"
    portType="ns6:AccountManagementPortType"
    inputVariable="InvAccountManagementIV"
    outputVariable="InvAccountManagementOV"
    partnerLink="AccountManagement"
    operation="publishAccount"
    bpelx:inputHeaderVariable="headerRequest"/>

    Any suggestion why the procedure doen't works when input EMPID := '1'',''2';?
    Thank you,

    The whole scenario is a little strange. When I tried to compile your procedure it couldn't compile, but I added the missing info and was able to get it compiled.
    create or replace PROCEDURE TEST (EMPID IN VARCHAR2, rc OUT sys_refcursor)
    IS
      stmt        VARCHAR2 (9272);
      V_EMPID     VARCHAR2 (100);
    BEGIN
      V_EMPID := EMPID;
      stmt := 'select * from TEST123 where Empid is NOT NULL';
      IF V_EMPID = '-1' THEN
        stmt := stmt || ' and Empid in (:1)';
      ELSE
        stmt := stmt || ' and -1 = :1';
      END IF;
      OPEN rc FOR stmt USING V_EMPID;
    END;If you pass in 1 as a parameter, it is going to execute because the statement that it is building is:
    select * from TEST123 where Empid is NOT NULL and -1 = 1Although the syntax is valid -1 will never equal 1 so you will never get any data.
    If you pass in 1,2 as a parameter then it is basically building the following:
    select * from TEST123 where Empid is NOT NULL and -1 = 1,2This will cause an invalid number because it is trying to check where -1 = 1,2
    You could always change your code to:
    PROCEDURE TEST (EMPID IN VARCHAR2, rc OUT sys_refcursor)
    IS
      stmt        VARCHAR2 (9272);
      V_EMPID     VARCHAR2 (100);
    BEGIN
      V_EMPID := EMPID;
      stmt := 'select * from TEST123 where Empid is NOT NULL';
      stmt := stmt || ' and Empid in (:1)';
      OPEN rc FOR stmt USING V_EMPID;
    END;and forget the if v_empid = '-1' check. If you pass in a 1 it will work, if you pass in 1,2 is will work, but don't pass them in with any tick marks.

  • How to show header value in each page same as Page field value.

    Hi there
    It would be very helpful if anyone could tell us how to set header value based on the page field.
    To make it more clear.. i have a field in my Rtf (which is basically a group by) so in each page it'll differ.. My Header should reflect the same as field value.
    what my understanding is header wont change for each page. but ,my requirement is something like i have to show the header which is same as one of my filed value..
    for eg:
    HEADER: ABC page-1
    Field - ABC
    HEADER:XYZ page-2
    Field - XYZ
    Regards - Vijay

    Hi Haiye ,
    The Pointer you gave would keep Header ABC through out all the pages in report right, actually i had tried this and got same header for all pages,
    but what i need is my first page Header should be based on one of the field of Page 1, second pge Header again based on the same field, but the value may differ... (coz the page field is group by ).
    Would appreciate your help on this issue!!

  • SMP 3.0: how to handle header values in the SOAP WS using Integration Gateway

    Hi Experts,
    We have a requirement from our current customer where they are providing us a SOAP WS.For one of the method we are passing “username” & “password” as input parameters and getting one security key (some unique number) in the response. We are able to do OData modeling for the same method. So far, it is fine.
    For other method, we have to pass that ”security key” in header along with some other parameters in the body section. While doing the request mapping for this method, we don’t see any option for this key parameter apart from those parameters (in that body section).
    We found one publicly available WSDL to reproduce the same scenario:
    e.g http://api.geosvc.com/services/soap?wsdl . To access its one of the method/operation GetPlace,We have to pass APiKey and Cursor value in the header section.
    <wsdl:message name="GetPlaceRq_Headers">
    <wsdl:part name="ApiKey" element="tns:ApiKey"/>
    <wsdl:part name="Cursor" element="tns:Cursor"/>
    To get APiKey, we have to register first. http://www.geosvc.com/register , once its done, you will get one APiKey as below:
    The same API key has to pass to access “GetPlace” method. So we tried it in SOAP UI to understand how exactly it should work:
    As you can see below, for the method “GetPlace”, we are passing values as in:
    Header Value
    Cursor
    blank
    ApiKey
    df7f8cc90e3345b4980cf6631f33a32d
    Body
    Country
    US
    Place
    HOLLYWOOD,CA
    Also got the response.
    When we do modeling (more precisely request mapping as below) for the same method we don’t see any Header related parameters. We can see only parameters which are available in the BODY section.
    We thought if we can get APIKey parameter in the body sections only, then it would be easy to map with. Right?
    What do you suggest how we should handle this kind of scenarios?
    CC: Mustafa Saglam, Jeff Gebo, Bjoern Woppmann
    Regards,
    JK

    Unfortunately the public example is a slightly different use case.  You have to register to get a static API key that is used in all calls.  That is something you would hard code into the headers.
    I think you are asking about a dynamic key they changes on each login.  It would be great if we had a public one that upon login returned a unique session key to be used in subsequent calls so we could better test and model accordingly.
    If you were using Agentry the answer would be yes you can do this.

  • Test Stand: How does parameter's value is passed as command line argument?

    Hi All,
    This is my 1st Q on this board.
    I'm using Test Stand Sequence to call a subsequence where I call an executable file and passing few arguments to it.
    SuperSequence.seq => SubSequence.seq
    In SuperSequence.seq I have 3 parameters and their values are specified
    Parameters
    Name      Type    Value
    ==============================
    Name      string    "Nirvana"
    Address  string    "London"
    Tel           Number "123456"
    In SubSeq.seq I call and EXE with following parameters
    Executable Path Name: myApp.exe
    Argument Expressxion:  "Parameters.Name  Parameters.Address  Parameters.Tel"
    In the application I receive parameter names instead of their values?
    E.g. I recevie Parameters.Name  Parameters.Address  Parameters.Tel in myApp.exe as arguments.
    How do I make the values to be passed to myApp.exe instaed of parameter names?
    Cheers
    Nirvana

    Hi,
    You have to make a string containing the arguments that you require
    Try the following expression
    Parameters.Name  + " " + Parameters.Address + " " +Str( Parameters.Tel)

  • Commas not correctly processed when values are passed through the URL!!!!!!

    I think this is a bug. Any information about this will be greatly appreciated. Here's the scenario:
    There's a single page with 2 regions. The first region contains a simple SQL report. The second region is and HTML region that contains text and date form elements. The SQL report has a column link "Edit" that when pressed it populates form elements in the HTML region. The population of the form elements is done by passing the column values of the select row as variables along the URL. The problem is that commas within column value text are processed as delimiters in the URL. From my understanding and documentation, variables and their values are supposed to look like this:
    f?p=6000:6004:&APP_SESSION.::NO:6003:MY_ITEM1,MY_ITEM2,MY_ITEM3:1234,,5678
    where MY_ITEM1 will be set to 1234, MY_ITEM2 will be set to null and MY_ITEM3 will be set to 5678 (The URL was copied directly from the Apex 3.0 documentation without modification).
    However if the first value is text (lets say "some,thing") that contains a comma, then MY_ITEM1 will be set to the text preceding the comma in the first value (some), the MY_ITEM2 will be set to the text that comes after the comma in the first value (thing) NOT null and MY_ITEM3 will be set to null NOT 5678. Clearly, one would think that the comma in the first value should be escaped given that commas are used as delimiters of values in this URL scheme.
    The URL looks like this:
    f?p=6000:6004:&APP_SESSION.::NO:6003:MY_ITEM1,MY_ITEM2,MY_ITEM3:some%2Cthing%2C%2C5678
    However the URL should look like this:
    f?p=6000:6004:&APP_SESSION.::NO:6003:MY_ITEM1,MY_ITEM2,MY_ITEM3:some%2Cthing,,5678
    where MY_ITEM1 is set to "some,thing", MY_ITEM2 is null and MY_ITEM3 is set to 5678
    What does all this mean? This means that the escaped commas (%2C) are used as delimiters for the values. Additionally, any information that is passed that contains a comma will have it's comma escaped as well AND still considered as delimiters for values in the URL. Not to mention it's inconsistent with the official documentation.

    Never mind... problem solved.
    In the Apex docs says that you can embed commas if used within backslashes like: \123,45\.
    So in order to pass text that has a comma through the URL, one must force Apex to code the URL like this (assuming that the text is coming from a report):
    f?p=6000:6004:&APP_SESSION.::NO:6003:MY_ITEM1,MY_ITEM2,MY_ITEM3:\#A_COLUMN#\,,5678
    Sorry... no bug. :)

  • How to see which files are open on shares

    Im fairly new to OS X Server. Am running OS X Server 10.6.8
    How can i see files that are open through AFP or SMB? I've tried the command lsof but that doesnt seem to show open files through network.

    Try smbstatus.
    To pin down exactly which files are locked for use, try:
    smbstatus | grep -i deny_write
    For AFP, I'm not sure exactly how it's done -- there isn't an afpstatus command, so I'm a bit in the dark. However, you could probably use a combination of lsof and grep to find any objects of type REG and owned by applefile.
    Maybe this:
    sudo lsof | grep -i "^applefile" | grep REG
    But that will return everything in use by the AppleFile service. From there, though, one may need to be familiar with what shares are on the system to further deduce what's open. For example, I get 10 lines returned, but only one of them contains a known share name (/Users/username/path/to/file), the rest are system directories (/System, /private, /usr, /Library and the like).
    Hope this helps a bit.

    To add to the Profiler suggestion, you can also capture this information using Extended Events.  Below is a script example to capture RPC and batch completed events.  This can be done from the SSMS Object Explorer as well:
    --create ExtendedEvent session
    CREATE EVENT SESSION [ParameterTrace] ON SERVER
    ADD EVENT sqlserver.rpc_completed(
    ACTION(sqlserver.sql_text)),
    ADD EVENT sqlserver.sql_batch_completed(
    ACTION(sqlserver.sql_text))
    ADD TARGET package0.event_file(SET filename=N'C:\Temp\ParameterTrace.xel')
    WITH (MAX_MEMORY=4096 KB,EVENT_RETENTION_MODE=ALLOW_SINGLE_EVENT_LOSS,MAX_DISPATCH_LATENCY=30 SECONDS,MAX_EVENT_SIZE=0 KB,MEMORY_PARTITION_MODE=NONE,TRACK_CAUSALITY=OFF,STARTUP_STATE=OFF)
    GO
    --start session
    ALTER EVENT SESSION [ParameterTrace] ON SERVER
    STATE = START;
    GO
    --stop session
    ALTER EVENT SESSION [ParameterTrace] ON SERVER
    STATE = STOP;
    --query trace data
    SELECT CAST(event_data AS XML) AS event_data
    FROM sys.fn_xe_file_target_read_file(N'C:\temp\ParameterTrace*', default, default, default);

  • How to see what Tables are being used in all reports

    Post Author: tmashley
    CA Forum: Crystal Reports
    Hello,
    How can I see what database tables are used in all my online reports? I have around 1000 reports posted to Enterprise over 6 different datasources. If possible I would like to see the fields within those tables that are being used to.
    I am using Crystal Reports XI Release 2
    Any help is appreciated
    Thanks,
    Tom

    I don't think you can see the databases of the reports unless you download the report onto your pc as a Crystal Report format and then open it under Crystal Reports.
    This way it will open the report within Crystal Reports and will show you the datasource it is coming from.
    I doubt if you can see them online.

  • PtData (Point Data Dictionary) how to see elevation values in Adobe Reader\Acrobat?

    PtData (Point Data Dictionary), Geospatial Features, Adobe Suppliment to the ISO 32000, extension level 3
    In 8.8.1 Geospatial Features chapter, Point Data Dictionary sub-chapter are written:
    Any 2D object (image XObject....) that contains a measure dictionary
    of subtype GEO can optionally include a PtData entry.
    The value of a PtData entry is a point data dictionary or an array
    of point data dictionaries of extended data associated with points in the 2D space.
    Table 8.111d list the entries of a point data dictionary.
    There are three predefined names:
    LAT, latitude in degress. The XPTS value is a number type.
    LON, longitude in degrees. The XPTS value is a number type.
    ALT, altitude in meters. The XPTS value is a number type.
    I have already generated a valid measure dictionary of subtype GEO.
    In Adobe Reader XI:
    Edit -> Analysis -> Geospatial Location tool
    it shows latitude\longitude for the selected point of flat PDF map.
    I.e. it works fine!
    However, I am interesting to show altitude (elevation) for the selected point.
    As I understand heights map could be specified by PtData dictionary.
    But I do not see any "elevation", or "height", or "altitude" parameter in Geospatial location tool.
    What do I wrong?
    I tried to find some working example of such 2D geo-registred PDF file in internet
    which also contains information about elevation (or altitude) in PtData dictionary,
    but unsuccessfully.
    I think that it could be very good if some flat PDF map will reports elevation for the specified point.
    Any advise is appreciated.

    Yes.  As I mentioned, I have tried a few things already.  Is there any way to get specific click by click instructions.  The difficulty is understanding what boxes to click on or off.  I've been in that menu, and tried a number of things but the rights in reader do not allow the user to add and save text.  DO you have a specific set of instructions to help solve this issue?
