How to see the procedure code ?
Hi all i have created a stored procedure .
How can i see the code of that procedure ?
I mean in which user_object is it stored ?
Srini
I did my stored function code several months ago, and accidently deleted it from my body of SQL/DDL files. That's why Nature gave us source control. Next time you may not be so lucky: the reason why you need to find the source might be because someone's dropped it from the database. Or they might have wrapped the code so the source is unreadable.
Of course, it maybe that rewriting a procedure results in a better, more elegant solution. I know I often feel that if only I had the time, I would love to rewrite large swathes of my current project. But, unlike the professor in Insignificance, few of us have the luxury. Obviously there are other benefits to source control other than not having to rewrite lost code (configuration management is the other main one). Whatever. A lot of people seem to like Subversion, perhaps because it's free.

How to see the complete code behind the tile?
Hi All,
I am working on MSA 4.0. I am able to see the code by double clicking on the methods in the tile but unable to view the complete code behind the tile. I want to see the complete code behind the tile. Can anyone help me with this?
Best regards
VasudhaHi Boyai,
Thanks for the reply. I am able to open the code. Two VBA windows for UI and BOL source code are opened.
1) I compiled the code.
2) I selected a particular tile. The methods , event handlers are displayed there. On double clicking one of the method i am able to view a particular code.
But i want to view the complete code behind that tile like in MSA 5.0 when we right click on the tile-> view code.
How can i view the complete code behind the tile in MSA 4.0?
Best Regards

How to see the ABAP Code behind SAP Exit Variables.
Hi Everyone.
I was wondering if anyone could help me with the steps to see the ABAP Code behind a SAP Exit Variable.
Sometime back I remember of going to Transaction SE37 - Function Module and give the Variable name,
Eg: 0F_ADAY, Hit F4 or something like that and was able to see the ABAP Code/Function Module/Exit written for that Variable.same
But today I tried to do the same thing to see the code for Variable 0P_FVAEX but I was NOT able to see it.
I think I am missing something.
Can someone help me recollect what I am missing.
Thank You for your time

How to see the native code?
Hi all,
I am very new to JNI. Actually i am doing a debugging task and has to understand the flow of the application.
I got a set of class files from which i decomplied the required class and got the java program. But that java file in turn calls a native method. It loads the .sl file in the static block.
I created the .h file from the class file and came to know that the native method is written in C++.
Is it possible to see what is written in that C++ native method? i posted the topic under JNI, but i didnot got any reply. Is it possible to see what is written in that C++
native method?You can decompile it...
By the way: if you have to decompile something it means that you don't have the sources, which means to me that in most cases, the code isn't yours. Which means in many cases, this decompiling might be illegal. -

How do I get to see the procedures that are running?
Good afternoon. How do I get to see the procedures that are running?
Thanks.
Daniel SousaI agree with Billy: never use undocumented procedures, they can change anytime.
The link you were referring to is probably this one: http://asktom.oracle.com/pls/asktom/f?p=100:11:0::::P11_QUESTION_ID:767025833873 and the post was not from Tom Kyte but from a reviewer.
The comment from Tom was:
sorry -- x$ tables are magical and I give no help in that area at all.
The same user that posted the query added in a following post:
Tom, I agree 101% - X$ are "magical", they CAN and WILL change anytime, without warning, and worse, NO READ-CONSISTENCY here - so, in a very busy db, chances are of X$ being "late", not refreshed, or alike.

How do I see the source code for 'NI Example Finder'?
At the LabView Express demo, the rep showed us how to view the source code for 'NI Example Finder' (started with Help, Find Examples...). Please refresh my memory.
--toddThere are a couple of VI's that shipped with LabView 7.0, but you can't see the diagrams.
C:\Program Files\National Instruments\LabVIEW 7.0\resource\system\HelpServer.llb\Run Example Finder__NATIONAL INSTRUMENTS.vi
Press Ctrl-E on this VI and it prompts you for a password.
This VI is run by C:\Program Files\National Instruments\LabVIEW 7.0\resource\system\HelpServer.llb\HelpServer__NATIONAL INSTRUMENTS.vi
There's also C:\Program Files\National Instruments\LabVIEW 7.0\help\_exfinder.llb\Example Finder Launcher.vi.
Tyring to open this VI starts the NI Example Finder. Note the taskbar icon which is different from the normal VI icon.
It seems like NI is trying to keep us out, even if it used LabView to develop the Example Finder. -
How do I see the source code in a Digital Edition doc?
First let me say that as an author, I'm a huGe fan of DRM and anything else that protects my ability to feed my family by allowing me to control who can sell my copyrighted works.
But.....I'm creating a book that I hope will eventually be accessed through Adobe Digital Editions and I would like to see what the books look like from the backside. Usually I go into Sigil to have a look at the coding of books whose layout I like.... but because of DRM I can't see the source code in any of the books in my Digital Library. So, is there a way to take a peek at the coding of a Digital Library book? I don't care about the content, only how the CSS and HTML are done.
Thanks
RSYou're welcome

How do i see the time code on my imported video
I am trying to see the time code on the video i imported as i do editing
You can see date and time the frame was shot by clicking VIEW/PLAYHEAD INFO and skimming over the clip.
If your camcorder shoots professional timecode, you would need Final Cut Pro to see that.

Multiple GWIAs : multiple domains too or not?
First off, let me confess that this is near the end for our GW system. The reason for creating GWIAs in this manner is to migrate our users' email to another system via IMAP. We have ~6000 users and > 500GB of messages to move. With that being said..
