How to selectively disable Header & Footer/How do we retrieve the PageName in the custom navtype cla

I would like to disable the Header and Footer for the login page. In my Custom Navigation Type class, I went ahead and made the following changes to the isFeatureEnabled() function.
if(feature.Equals(NavFeatureEnum.TOPBAR))
returnfalse;
if (feature.Equals(NavFeatureEnum.HEADER))
return false;
But this essentially disables the header and footer for the entire Sub Portal. How can I retrieve the PAGE NAME in the Navigation Type class so that I can selectively disable the feature. This is what I would like to do
if (pageName.equals("LOGIN")) {
if (feature.Equals(NavFeatureEnum.HEADER))
return false;

Unfortunately, you there is no way to check for page name inside the IsFeatureEnabled method. What you could do, if you want to always disable the header and footer in all navigation schemes, is to change com.plumtree.portalpages.common.uiparts.PlumtreeDP to have it check for current page name. In the Display method, search for
displayHeader = GetPlugNavFeature(navType,NavFeatureEnum.HEADER);displayFooter = GetPlugNavFeature(navType,NavFeatureEnum.FOOTER);
and change it to:
if ( !LoginAS.STR_MVC_CLASS_NAME.equals(GetOwner().GetName()) ) { displayHeader = GetPlugNavFeature(navType, NavFeatureEnum.HEADER); displayFooter = GetPlugNavFeature(navType, NavFeatureEnum.FOOTER);} else { displayHeader = false; displayFooter = false;}
Just remember that we might make changes in PlumtreeDP in future updates. You would have to add this code in again if we do.

BC put their own header (with live links to dummy pages) and footer (two line of text on the bottom) in my Dreamweaver CS6 job at http://140001.worldsecuresystems.com/
Although I'm in the directory I can't seem to delete theses items,
the Main Template.dwt inside the default Templates folder.
I can't even delete the code inside it and leave it as an empty file.

I eneded up having to log in directly at Business Catalyst, not going through DW at all. There I entered a completely different mode, many more folders were visible. There it should also show you the template folder (the one you can't delete) belongs to your current DW project, which is why you can't delete it. You should see the other files that you can delete -- it's an entirely different experience going through Business Catalyst.
An extra caution, Adobe also added some new CSS global sheets to MY project that weren't in my original upload, so keep an eye out. I discovered this when I had to add code and I swore that page didn't belong to my job. Well, it did.

Toshiba 3TB DT01ACA300 hard drive. How can I disable head parking?

I bought a Toshiba 3TB DT01ACA300 hard drive. It occasionally makes a click, not like a drive failing click but it sounds a lot like a head parking click. I've heard that type of sound before in laptops that I have and it's tolerable. Coming from my desktop though it's infuriating. Is there any way I can disable the head parking? Does anyone here work for Toshiba? Does anyone else have this drive? Do you notice an occasional click?

Also I tried Toshiba's support page. I entered serial number and model number and it doesn't recognize either, so if there is any new firmware or tool for this drive I can't find it. I did find a Toshiba technical support form which I will use if I can't resolve my issue here in the forum.

How can I disable Notification Centre in IOS5 and go back to getting the big blue text message notifications?

I flicked the button in settings to set up Notification Centre, but now I want to disable Notification Centre as the text notification is nowhere near as good as the old 'big blue' text received box.

I've tried literally every option available in "Notifications" to get back the big blue box, but it seems that every option I choose nothing really changes.
The messages continue to come up with the small box, green Message icon, and the name and Text Message beneath.
Is there no other way, or some sort of trick, to get the blue box back?

The issue is that you have decided to use quoted column names. A pretty horrible idea (mostly for the reasons that you are now finding).
Re-create the view and get rid of the silly double quotes.

Use always -I option of the compiler to include all header file directories U wich to add. In this case no need to copy the files.

A relatively simple way to do this without VBA:
Select the body of the document (Ctrl+A).
On the Review tab of the ribbon, click Restrict Editing.
Tick the check box "Allow only this type of editing in the document".
Leave the dropdown set to the default "No changes (read only)".
Under Exceptions, tick the check box for Everyone.
Click "Yes, Start Enforcing Protection".
If you wish, enter a password (don't forget it - you'll need it if you ever want to unlock the document), then click OK.
Save, close and reopen the document. The header and footer won't be editable.

I am using Adobe X Standard, version 10.1.2 and everything I am reading tells me to go to tools>pages>Header & Footer>Add Header & Footer, but once I click on tools to the left, the only options I have are export and create pdf files and send files. There is no tools option in the tool bar on the top. File, edit, view, window & help are my only options. How can I add a header/footer to a document?!

I think you might be opening your Pdf document in Adobe Reader. If you try open your pdf document in Adobe Standard and check again as far as your option are concerned you should be able to do that.
