How to send an email with an attachment to the customers email address.

Question

Hi friends,
How to send an email with an attachment to the customers email address.
the attachment will be in doc format.
Having an Header
the data which i am sending must be in a TABLE format
with 5 columns.
and each column must have a column heading
Please guide me.
