How to send array of bytes to a servlet and store it in a file

Hi,
How to send array of bytes to a servlet and store it in a file.
I am new to Servlets. if possible for any one, please provide the code.
Thanks,
cmbl

Through HTTP this is only possible with a POST request of which the encoding type is set to multipart/form-data. You can use Apache Commons FileUpload to parse such a multipart form data request into useable elements. From the other side (the client) you can use a HTML <input type="file"> element or a Java class with Apache Commons PostMethod API.

how can i send multiple objects(ArrayLists and String) from servlet to applet and applet to servlet?

Use an HTTPUrlConnection from the Applet to the Servlet to send data to the server, or request information from the servlet. To actually transfer the objects you will have to use a serialized version of the objects, almost always by wrapping the streams generated via the UrlConnection in ObjectOutputStream and ObjectInputStreams.

    Hi,
In SharePoint 2013, we can take use of REST API or Client Object Model to access the SharePoint objects like Form Library.
    SharePoint 2013 REST API

    http://blogs.technet.com/b/fromthefield/archive/2013/09/05/working-with-sharepoint-list-data-odata-rest-and-javascript.aspx
    SharePoint 2013 Client Object Model

    http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/office/jj193041(v=office.15).aspx
With the retrieved file, we can then use XmlDocument object to parse it and get the values you want:

yes, you can send integer value like this. But I think you have to put quotes around <%= TAMID%> i.e.
    <input type="hidden" id="HTTP_CVHTAMID"
    name="HTTP_CVHTAMID" value= "<%= TAMID%>" >

I want to choose the eight bytes for the temperature data and convert it to a decimal number. I have seen the examples to convert a Hexa string to decimal but I do not know how to choose the specifics bytes that I need.
I have look for a driver but i didn´t find any. I am a beginner so please include especific topics for me to study in your answer.
    Thanks
    Carlos Fuentes Silva Queretaro Mexico

If the response always has the temperature starting with byte 15 and is always 8 bytes in length, you can use the String Subset function to get those bytes out of the string.  Then use Hex String to Number to convert to a decimal number.
Well someone already beat me to the solution:

  • How to send JMS Message with use title, content, and attach file

I use OpenJMS server such as Message server
and use Tomcat 4.0 as web server.
I want to use JMS to send Message that message have
title, content, and can attach file.

You probably wanna use SOAP. SOAP is based on XML, it has a soapheader (can have the title) the soapbody (has your actual message) and it can also have files attached.
    read more here
    http://www.w3.org/TR/SOAP/
The only thing you have to be carefull with is that when you want to put a SOAPMessage on a JMS queue, you have to serialize it

  • How to send a ton of data to Servlet

    Hi,
I have a servlet to which I want to feed a ton of data from a c++ client that I have built. I do this by doing a GET request over a socket and then recieve data back. The following is my request:
    GET /servlets/ConvertRequest?req=<a ton of data>
This however is coming back with the error saying that the URL is too large. How can I send all of this data to this servlet over this socket now? and have it return a processed version of it back. The data is a string form XML document. I would really appreciate any help I can get.
    Thank you,
    Jay.

The HTTP "GET" method has a specific limit on the length of the request. I can't recall the limit, but I'm sure it's specified in the RFC for HTTP.
What you really want to do is use the HTTP POST method.

  • How to send single person-records with HRMD_A Idoc and change Idoc header?

    Hello group,
we have different companies in our SAP system (BUKRS). Now when an infotype is changed the changepointers are activated and using program RBDMIDOC we can send Idocs of type HRMD_A to f.i. files. In order to have these files distributed to different parties depending on BUKRS of the person we would like to have HRMD_A to deliver single records, an Idoc for each person and the Idoc header fields for variant and function should be filled so that the partner profile would distribute the Idoc to the partie.
Is this possible? And if yes how?
    Regards, Léon Hoeneveld The Netherlands

Transaction PFAL lets me trigger the Idoc manually, but with a job for RBDMIDOC this is automatically.
I found fm RH_HRMD_BLOCK_SIZE in wich you can enhance the code to set the block size for an Idoc-type to 1.
But now I still have to change the Idoc header with an enhancement of user-exit.
HRALE00OUTBOUND_IDOC BADi does not have the functionallity.

  • How to send an idoc to a particular partner and port?

    Hi,
I need to post an idoc from R/3 system, using transaction BD10. After execution, it'll generate some idocs and will post them. but the problem, these idocs generated will not have the partner or port to which i intended to send them to. How will i ensure, the posted idoc will always have my XI system as target?
    Regards,

    I Think U didn't even seen the BD10 screen.
there u will have option for Logical sytem  which is mandatory and based the logical system entered IDOC wil be routed..
In  u r case there will be LS which points to XI system and whole Partner Profiles are defiend for that LS in WE20

  • How to send audio via RTP from captured device and media file together?

    Hi there,
I have this application which can send audio stream via RTP using AVTransmit.java.
In this application, there is this button which will play a short tune (via java.applet.AudioClip) when i clicked on it.
My question is, how can I transmit this short tune to the other side along with the current audio stream via RTP?
    Thank you!

    Hi there,
Thank you for the replies. I have tried creating another stream to send the media file. Although it's workable, the other side is unable to handle 2 incoming stream. The receving end does not hear a combined audio. Sometimes i hear the media file's audio, sometimes i hear the other.
Is it possible to merged the media file's audio into the existing rtp stream on the fly? Or piped the media file's audio to the capture datasource?
