I am new to this topic Ihave one doubt about jsp form action....
That is I am using input type is submit button

If I get that queryString in the sample.jsp page it respoce to the null only...... what is the problem to this code ..... please send ur perfect coding as soon as possible. I really waiting for ur replay..........

I think u can use the "request.getQueryString()" to get the query string instead of using "request.getParameter()".
From the query string value u can get the output.

In flow I have setted $outbound/transport/request-http/query-string too.
But I have to send request with url encoding.
How to encode query string and how can I check whether my request is going correctly or not, is there any variable in which complete url would be stored.

I want to pass multiple query string values using the same parameter in Query String (URL) Filter Web Part like mentioned below:

But it always return those items whose "Title" value is "Arup". It is not returned any items whose "Title" is "Ratan".

Hi DH, sorry for not being clear.
It works when I create the connection from that web part that you want to be connected with the Query String Filter Web part. So let's say you created a web part page. Then you could connect a parameterized Excel Workbook to an Excel Web Access Web Part
(or a Performance Point Dashboard etc.) and you insert it into your page and add
a Query String Filter Web Part . Then you can connect them by editing the Query String Filter Web Part but also by editing the Excel Web Access Web Part. And only when I created from the latter it worked
with multiple values for one parameter. If you have any more questions let me know. See you, Ingo

It has been fixed but the new problem is: After signout, if I move back to previous page and click some link using <- sign then I suppose to get the login page, but i am getting
ORA-44004: invalid qualified SQL name error message.

How to use Sockets to send/recieve Strings in XML form?

Hello there to everyone reading my Post !
I am entering a total new subject in my learning about Java Programming, where I will need to interact with a server, I was wondering If somebody could help me with a Question I have; here it is:
A server provided me a Socket, (and that is of course an IP address and a Port), And I am supposed to connect to that server using a Java program that connects to servers using a Socket class, then I am supposed to send a String representing a valid XML, and then the server replies me With another String representing a valid XML which I am supposed to store in a String type.
Is this exact write/read operation possible? If so, could someone please give me some code samples to solve this problem?
PD: The server Does this operation only: recieve/send Strings. as its called transactional switch.

How to send a String to a Servlet using a HTTP POST

How to send a receipt when using a web form for payment

I have a site on which people sign up for classes (events) through a web form. I have set this up using a custom form in which the Amount field is populated using javascript, depending on which class they select from a drop down.
Is there a way to send the client a receipt for the transaction? Would this be done within BC or would it be done within the payment gateway? (Authorize.net, in this case)

Hi - I have a similar problem. I found I can send a receipt using sendinvoice=true&amp in the form action, but it uses the default invoice layout and shows GST to be $0, when it should be 10% of the class(event) fee. I can't modify the invoice as it is setup just right for out products, which are purchased through shopping cart. Any ideas on ow to work around this? Any thoughts would be very appreciated.

Reports 6i Encrypting query string parameters using Web.Show_Document()

I am developing Forms 6i form which initiates a report on our reports server (using rwcgi60) using a call to Web.Show_Document(). However, we pass several parameters to the report from the form which we'd like to encrypt, otherwise they're likely to be abused.
For example, I might have something like:

I am aware of the following document which describes how to use a JavaBean implmentation and client cookie to hide sensitive information using a client side cookie - but this appears to be specific to hiding user logon information - can it be extended to cover any parameter on the query string?

...or will I have to provide my own solution - e.g. perhaps using the DBMS_OBFUSCATION encryption and decryption functions to pass an encrypted parameter string to the report, and have the report decrypt the string on the reports server....
I should probably point out that the parameter values are dynamic - not static, so adding an entry to cgicmd.dat isn't going to solve my problem.
Any ideas?

How to send an updated list using batch job

Hi All,
The program displays data on the screen, if the data looks ok, then there is an option to update.
When I run update, the program submits a batch job and the basic list gets updated, but my batch job is still sending the data on the screen. how can i send the updated list using batch job.

       there is an update button on the screen, when i press update button, my program submits in batch job, the above list becomes

but when i check the spool, it shows the o/p as         1           2 ..it is not sending the updated list.
