How to set pre conditions to set the run mode to skip or normal?

Could you please let me know how can I set a precondition based on a local variable so when the variable is 1 I can skip a test or when it is zero I programatically set the run mode to normal.

I have a case where I use the Pre-Condition to skip some steps (subsequence call) for a specific test) if that test has run successfully already.
This is handled in a 'SequenceFilePostStep", thus the "RunState.Caller....".
The Precondition is set to 'False' so it won't run.
'Set the Precondition on the next step to "False 'Remove" (The remove is to indicate that it will be removed later so it's not saved in the sequence file.)

The "False 'Remove" needs to be removed later, or it will be saved in the file and remain. This is accomplished later with:
'Need to copy the contents to a Local variable, manipulate it to remove the "False 'Remove" string then re-assign back into the Precondtion

I am having this problem as well. I've tried dozens of times at this point. I can produce the apple icon but when I release and press play+select it just reverts back to the red x. The red x is the whole reason I'm trying to get this into disk mode. I need to reset it but I can't until it is in disk mode. I've tried the flat surface, one finger etc etc but disk mode still eludes me. Any other thoughts?

5. Release Home button.

U pls Check ur configuration. First u check the calculation procedure (F.A- Tax on sales & purchase-Basic setting-Check calculation procedure _ Define procedure) In the procedure field u check JM01 is activated or deactivated otherwise u created in condition Type.

Scenario 1:
Go to VK11 tcode and Enter your KAD1 COndition Type.
Now maintain the Condition Record for your Customer.
Scenario 2:
Go to VK11 tcode and Enter your KP00 COndition Type.
Now maintain the Condition Record for your Customer.
Note for Scnario 2: Please make sure for KP00, the field Plus/minus in Condition Type setting should be "A" i.e the Surcharge. It is because the same condition Type can be used for Discount as well as for Surcharge.
The condition Type setting for KP00 can be done by going to V/06 tcode

How to specify a different directory for the Run-Time Engine?

With LV 7.1 it's become even more difficult to create installation sets in third-party tools without having to include the full run-time engine separately.
If you use any of the advanced analysis VIs you have to install the run-time engine (no use in including files in the same directory as the built application) and if you do and you use the old serial VIs you get a problem because the application will load the run-time from the main run-time installation and then look for serpdrv in that directory, not in the application folder...
So - being forced to use the installer builder in the application builder and include the run-time engine in the installation kit I wonder whether it is possible to specify where the run-time should be installed?
By default it will go in a directory called National Instruments in the program files folder, however that is not ideal due to the fact that the users have no relation to the fact that our application needs something from NI...and may end up deleting the directory ("National Instruments? - what do I need that for...let me delete it...). We would like to be able to specify that the run-time is installed silently in a directory named with our company name instead.

When you create the stand alone, in options you can actually set the temp directory and default directory. You can change it there OR in goto options and check for libraries/directories. You can change it there too.

Spotify applies a limit of 3,333 tracks but everything is dependent on your phones on-board memory
as Spotify actually copies the tracks to it so you don't need internet connection.
My Galaxy S2 has 11 odd GB and I filled it with 1800 tracks (albeit some were 20 - 30 mins).
Also check if you use on-board memory for photos etc. 'cos Spotify will use a lot of it.
I have asked them to look at this and maybe give warnings about Spotify's memory usage rather
than the number of tracks.

I brought Plant into rows and created condition with characteristic assignment on Material only. This time the condition brought back only one material 000000000000009892 for Plant 6326 in the above example. I also got a warning message saying 'Applied condition does not return a unique result'
I am beginning to wonder whether it is even possible to achieve this at query level.

1) A print should go to the Printer ie:Option1 Print output
2) A PDF should go to the vendor ie:Option 5 External send

Pre condition functions export

I have another question.
I have tried to export pre conditions but have not succeed yet in exporting the Pre Condition functions.
The jcs_describe.describe doesn't work with the following types 'PRE_CONDITION', 'PRECONDITION', 'FUNCTION', etc.
Since it is possible to export the object on the RWE, with right-click / export, we guess that it is somehow possible with PL SQL functions.
Can someone give me some clues about that ?

Hi,
Preconditions are not described like chains, scripts etc. They are regular functions in the database, which can be described using standard database functions.
As an example (in the Redwood Shell):
set serveroutput on
spool [youroutputfile].sql
declare
c clob;
begin
c:= dbms_metadata.get_ddl ( 'FUNCTION', '[functionname]', '[functionowner]' );
dbms_output.put_line ( c );
end;
spool off
set serveroutput off
This will give you the definition of your precondition function in a file (of course you need to replace the texts between \[\] with proper values applying to your environment.
You can put this in a single script, let's call it desc_function.sql and pass the owner and functionname as parameters. From the Redwood Shell, the call would look like this:
@desc_function [owner] [functionname]
The file desc_function.sql would contain the following text:
set serveroutput on
spool &1._&2..sql
declare
c clob;
begin
c:= dbms_metadata.get_ddl ( 'FUNCTION', '&2', '&1' );
dbms_output.put_line ( c );
end;

set serveroutput off

Why do text variables using Running Header character style translate forced returns as a word space in the running head on the first page but close up the space on subsequent pages?

In an InDesign document that requires 3 different Chapter head paragraph styles (to cope with differrent length headings) I've set up the running heads on the master page with a text variable using the Running header (character style) option. The character style I've assigned to this is an empty character style that is applied to all 3 chapter head paragraph styles.
Some chapter heads require a forced line break, so that the line breaks are aethesically pleasing. On the first page the text variable translates this forced line break as a word space in the running head, but on subsequent pages it ignores the forced line break. This means that if you have a word space before the forced line break, on the first page you get a double word space and on subsequent pages the running head sets correctly with a single word space. But if you remove the word space before the forced line break in the chapter head text, the first running head sets correctly with forced line break interpreted as a single word space, but on subsequest pages the space is closed up.
This only seems to be a problem when the character style option is used for header text variables. If a paragraph style is used the forrced line break is interpreted as a a single word space in all instances, both on the foirst page and subsequent pages.
This would appear to be a bug in how text variables are applied when using the Running header (character style) option. I can't see any other reason why the text variable would beheave differently on the first page and on subsequent pages. There is only one master page, so it isn't a case of their being an error between a main master page and a chapter opener master page.
Does anyone have any solutionss, or know if this problem has been fixed in subsequent releases of InDesign (I'm using CS6 ID version 8.0)
