How to set Satuday/Sunday to NORM work?

Hi Gurus,
I am facing such problem,pls shed some light!
Orginal WS Rule:
2008/12/29_2008/12/30_2008/12/31_2009/01/01_2009/01/02_2009/01/03_2009/01/04
MON______TUE_______WEN_____THU_______FRI_______SAT_______SUN_____
NORM_____NORM_____NORM____NORM_____NORM____OFF_______OFF_____
But 2009/01/01 is public holiday for new year. So our work schedule rule should change like this:
2008/12/29_2008/12/30_2008/12/31_2009/01/01_2009/01/02_2009/01/03_2009/01/04
MON______TUE_______WEN_____THU_______FRI_______SAT_______SUN_____
NORM_____NORM_____NORM____OFF______OFF_______OFF_______NORM___
As we can see that, to gain a consecutive vacation, we exchange the work schedule between 2009/01/02(FRI) and 2009(SUN).
Question is how to change the DWS of 2009/01/04(SUN) to NORM?
PS: I have changed 2009/01/02 to OFF using "Define Special Days".But for 2009/01/04(SUN) this method won't work.  I have also tried "Define Rules for Variants"(DWS) but in vain. Because "Define Rules for Variants" only consider HC of current day and next day.

Hi,
For Sunday you have to manually create the Substitution  in the transaction code PA71 this you can perform at the ESG grouping and PSA grouping level ..
We need to create substitution only for one Sunday not for remaining Sundays .

    Here's a slightly different method, but it works..... (and, there is certainly no 'work around' for anyone to get data you don't want them to get!)

    <br />It uses the Action on Open (sorry, I don't know the 'official' name of this - I'll describe it below..) in the pdf to send the user to a server checking mechanism (in this case, a date checker - but you could do the same thing with lots of stuff...)
    <br />
    <br />Here's how I set it up and it works great!
    <br />
    <br />1. Start a new document that you can get a form field into (don't use LiveDesign for this - that's too fancy... - just make a document in Word that says ______ then print to pdf to get a nice simple pdf that you can edit directly in Acrobat)
    <br />
    <br />2. Do a 'Run Form Field Recognition' and Acrobat will find the blank as a field.
    <br />
    <br />3. Edit this field to have a "key" name (my example, I will use "today" which tells me this is the day that my document starts).
    <br />
    <br />4. Under the 'Options' tab, make a Default Value of today's date (this will be the 'test against' date - for my example I'm showing how to expire a document in 30 days from creation date, but you could use anything you like - it is simple to modify!)
    <br />
    <br />5. From the 'Format' tab, use the Select format category of Date. Use a date format you like (my example uses mm/dd/yyyy) Note that this MUST match the server side code described later).
    <br />
    <br />6. For a 'live' document, you may want to go to the General tab and make the field Hidden as well as other things to not see the 'false' page, but that is outside the scope of this example.

    <br />OK, now on to setting up the document to automatically send this info to your server for testing...

    <br />1. Go to the 'Pages' view (click on the icon at the top left)
    <br />2. right-click on the page, select Page Properties.
    <br />3. Under the 'Actions' tab, select "Page Open" and "Submit a form" from the drop down boxes.
    <br />4. Enter a URL to your web page (see below) that does the checking (like http://mytestdomain.com/Scripts/checkexpiredate.php so it is easy to remember)
    <br />5. Check the HTML radio button.
    <br />6. Check the 'Only these...' button and then 'Select fields'. Make sure your "key" field is checked as well as the 'Include Selected' button (sometimes, for me, these weren't - I don't know why, so check it!)

In my system, I use a program called fpdf [http://fpdf.org] to create the pdf from 'scratch', building it to show the reader what I want them to see - whether it is a "Sorry, this is expired" document, or the data that they came for if the time hasn't expired.)

    This command can be used into two different contexts:
    1- Redistribution into ISIS
    When you are redistributing routes into ISIS, you have the choice to set the metric-type as internal (between 0 and 64) or external (between 65 and 128)
    Internal metric are always prefer over external metric
    2- Set the MED to reflect IGP cost to the NH on eBGP updates
    You are receiving an iBGP update and before sending it to your eBGP peers, you want the MED for that prefix set to your IGP cost to the iBGP peer announcing this prefix.
    In this case the IGP can be anything.
    This command is not necessary if you are redistributing the route into BGP directly instead of receiving them from iBGP. In such case, the MED reflects by default the IGP cost of the redistributed prefix.

    If you don't have a Map Network Drive item in the toolbar in Windows Explorer in Vista, and right-clicking on My Computer doesn't give you a Map Network Drive item, then you have a problem with Windows and will need to take that up on a Windows-oriented site. Look at the screen shots to the right of section 4 to make sure you're looking in the right place.
    I sent three emails one week ago to the technical help with no response
    Doesn't give one much confidence in the company or their products, then. Perhaps you should look for a different product, one with better support. FileBrowser generally comes well recommended.

    As far as I remember this feature will be implemented on iOS 5.
    What you do is saving the page as HMTL to the local memory, so you are not able to open it by entering the web-adress.

    If the KB is paired with something, it needs to be deleted from that system before it can pair with something else. BT devices may only pair with one thing at a time.

  • How to set up Canon printer via Netgear print server ps121 on new macbook

    I have bought a new Macbook (OS10.4.8). The Apple store gives a good deal if you buy a Canon ip4300 with it but I am having problems figuring out how to set up the printer to work thru my Netgear print server on my Netgear network. Can anybody advise:
    1. I know my print server is on port 192.168.1.5, but what kind of settings do I use, IPP or LPT or something else?
    2. Why can I not find the driver for the ip4300, even though I have used the CD that came with the printer and run the install program and the printer DOES work when I plug it directly into the USB port. Why does the Macbook come with drivers already installed for only a few ancient BJ Canons and why won't it show me where the driver for the ip4300 is since it is obviously already on the machine?
    I know Netgear treats its customers with contempt (Linksys even worse). But I would expect a little more simplicity from Canon and Apple. I know I am an orangutan but it still seems incredibly difficult, as if they have hidden the printer driver on the computer and as if Apple does not want you to install networked printers. Please don't tell me to RTFM, I have read the Canon manual, it tells you how to network with Windows, does not even mention Mac. Any advice appreciated.

  • Two Apple Displays and Mac Pro - How To Set Up?

    Hello! My boyfriend surprised me yesterday with a second 23" Apple HD Display! Fed Ex delivered it and I had no idea it was coming! Before I take the plunge I need to know how to set it up so it works as with my current Mac Pro and 23" display so that they work together, as one big screen. I have the ATi X1900 graphics card with 512mg of RAM and two DVI ports and assume that will be sufficient to run both displays.
    Is it possible to use them as one large screen? If so, how do I set that up? If I just plug it in and restart, will the two screens work as one or as separate screens?

    I did the same thing last night, and if you haven't just plugged it in already, it's really as simple as that.
    I get a little video glitch on my main startup screen when I'm booting up, but otherwise it just works smoothly. Plug it in, and go.

    There is nothing wrong with asking questions.  There  are no dumb questions....answers, yes, but not questions. 
    If you set up your wi-fi router to establish a network, then both your printer and MacBook Pro will connect wirelessly.  *** I do not know what kind of router you possess, I don't want to suggest things that might not be relevant.

  • I bought my wife an iPad, iTV and iPhone and everything works great. But now I'm getting an iPhone and I'm not sure how to set it up. So far all our iTunes purchases have been under her account. So how do we share everything, but have different accounts?

    Things have just kind of escalated. We started with the ipad and she really liked it. Then we were given an itv and it worked so nicely with the ipad, that we decided to get her an iphone. We've been buying music, tv shows, movies, taking photos, looking at them on the tv using photostream. But now I'm getting an iphone and plan to by a macbook or mac mini some time soon, and I'm wondering how I can setup my own account but still have all this really nice seamless sharing across devices. If I buy an album on my phone, I'd like to be able to play it on the itv (which is setup with my wifes account). And so forth.
    I hope I've explained my concern and someone can point out how to set things up so that things remain as seamless and easy as they are now.

    I tried "E-mail Accounts" - Add an email account - but the password verification NEVER comes through. I've tried send password recoved but does not work (ive deleted it and tried 3 different Password recovery e-mails - gmail / local and another BC one too).. nothing is working.

    You can still switch to V2 view to find things. Something I am still doing when I do these irregular jobs, as they only happen when a site goes live and that will only be once a month for us. Twice some months.
    Although I just tried going to V2 and getting up the V3 view, but it didn't send me to the page I wanted.
    I notice that there is a new tab in V3 called Email accounts, where you can set up email accounts now. Try there.
    You will need to have the user set up first under Admin Users and User Roles first I expect.
    Also check workflows are set up properly once you have gone into Email Accounts and set up the email address.
    Or maybe just go back to V2 and do it all there. Click in top rh corner to get back to it.

    Thanks. I messed up with my husbands iphone because I was told the wrong thing. Now everytime I sync his phone it makes it look just like the other phone I had. Do you know how I can fix taht for his phone? Any settings I can turn off that will prevent all of my apps/contacts, etc from auto populating his phone?
