  • How to set the conversation id programmatically in a BPM process

    Hi all,
    I am using BPM/SOA 11g PS3.
    Is it possible to set the conversation id programmatically in a BPM process starting with a none start event?
    I know I can set it easily if I use a BPM process starting with a message start event.
    All I have to do is set it in the "wsa:MessageID" node in SOAP Header when I initiate the process instance.
    However, I have no idea how to set the conversation id programmatically in a BPM process starting with a none start event.
    I looked for if there is any appropriate method in the Java api for the process instance management, such as IInstanceManagementService and CompositeInstance, but no method seems to be appropriate.
    Does anyone know how to do this?

    Hi fifty,
    Did you get a solution to the above problem you have mentioned? I have a similar issue i am trying to fix.
    I have a webservice call in a process activity and if the call does not work i get a soap fault and the fuego.lang.ComponentExecutionException . My process requires that i catch the exception infact any kind of exceptions that occur on that call and perform another activity in the process.
    I have defined an exception handler at the activity level for java.lang.Exception and java.lang.RunTimeException.
    i don't see anything in the catalog which would handle the SOAP fault OR the componentexception.

  • HOW to set the value attribute of FORM INPUT data to a variable in a JSP

    eg. Registration.jsp
    The data is accessed from an hidden field called course
    for example, if I have "Java programming" in the field course, and I use
    an expression to access the value from the hidden field.
    **My problem is that the data gets truncated to "Java" , I need "Java Programming"to display. The code looks like this
    <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN">
    <INPUT TYPE="text" SIZE=12 NAME="course"
    VALUE=<%=getParameter("course") %>
    IS there ANY OTHER WAY to set the value of VALUE to a variable?

    Instead of value=<%=request.getParameter("course")%>
    Use double codes

  • How to set the LOV value programmatically?

    Hello,
    I have a LOV (select list with submit) the value (displayed and corresponding returned) of which I would like to set by selecting a row in a report.
    What is the event I use to catch the selection of the row in the report and what would be the sample code to set the LOV values?
    Thanks a lot!
    Gabor

    Perhaps a more detailed explanation of the issue helps:
    I am developing an online internet bookmarking application. It basically contains a folder tree and bookmarks within the folders.
    The folder tree is implemented by a table referencing itself (main columns are: ID, NAME, PARENT_ID).
    The LOV lists the NAMEs (actually, the full path of each folder as returned by a function) and returns the IDs.
    When the user selects a NAME, folders and bookmarks contained in that folder are listed in a report (non-recursively).
    The action of the user clicking a folder in the report should simulate the above as if they selected the name manually. This is where I need help!
    I hope this helps. Thanks!

  • In OAF, How to get the DFF Attributes bean in the PR of the controller

    Hi All,
    I am not able to get the holder of the Descriptive Flex Field bean attributes in the processrequest method of the controller. Any idea, how to get it?
    my Code Snippet:
    OADescriptiveFlexBean oadescriptiveflexbean = (OADescriptiveFlexBean)webBean.findIndexedChildRecursive("AdditionalAttributes");
    if(oadescriptiveflexbean != null)
    System.out.println("oadescriptiveflexbean is not null);
    OAWebBean bean1 = (OAWebBean) oadescriptiveflexbean.findIndexedChildRecursive("AdditionalAttributes1");
    System.out.println("bean1 "+bean1);
    It is going inside the IF condition. But, it displaying the bean1 value as null.
    Regards,
    Soorya

    Hi,
    You cannot reorder the dffbeans. In DFF setup definition itself, you have to maintain the sequence of the fields.
    DFF beans are listed under flow layout by default. Following note from OA Framework developer guide
    ++++
    Altering the Flexfield UI LayoutNote:
    This is not recommended by the OA Framework team and may cause problems with PPR.
    If you want to do something unusual with the descriptive flexfield UI layout (like insert a button after every segment or move the segments around), you need to follow these steps:
    Find the OADescriptiveFlexBean by attribute name and call the processFlex method on OADescriptiveFlexBean. After this, you will be creating the flexfield segment web beans based on metadata and the view object attribute.
    Call the getIndexedChild(int)method on the flexfield web bean to go through all the child of the flexfield and alter the layout as desired.

  • Update the DFF attribute in advanced table not working

    Hi,
    We used a custom value set and enabled the DFF in requisition edit lines page advanced table. We made attribute1 in the DFF as the work order number. When the user enters the work order number, then in PFR, we calculated the project# and task# and populated the fields in that row. When the user changes the task#, then we need to make the work order number null. Below is the logic we followed.
    We get the row reference and get the row.
    row.setAttribute("Attribute1", null);
    When we did the write diagnostics, it is displaying the attribute1 as null, but on the page it is displaying the value that is already existing.
    2nd approach we followed is:
    Get the handle to the flex using findChildRecursive.
    Get the lovInputBean handle from the flex using findChildRecursive
    setText(null);
    But this 2nd approach is making all the work order numbers in all rows to null.
    Can you please let me know how to set the DFF enabled attribute value in advanced table?
    Thanks,
    HC

    Hi,
    Can you try by casting row with PoRequisitionLinesVORowImpl.
    Something like below
    PoRequisitionLinesVOImpl xxReqLineVO = am.getPoRequisitionLinesVO();
    PoRequisitionLinesVORowImpl xxReqLineRow = null;
                for(xxReqLineRow = (PoRequisitionLinesVORowImpl)xxReqLineVO.first(); xxReqLineRow != null; xxReqLineRow = (PoRequisitionLinesVORowImpl)xxReqLineVO.next())
                    try
                        String xxdelToLocId = xxReqLineRow.getDeliverToLocationId().toString());
                        if(<your condition   >)
                            xxReqLineRow.setAttribute1("");
                        else
                            xxReqLineRow.setAttribute1("xx_YOUR_VALUE");
                    catch(Exception e)
                        throw OAException.wrapperException(e);
                xxReqLineVO.reset();
            }Thanks,

    I have tried this:

    In the webpart cs code:
    PeopleEditor sppcustom = new PeopleEditor();

    The code is executing fine without error, however the username is not shown in the peopleeditor.
    When the name is added, i am getting the error "No exact match was found. Click the item(s) that did not resolve for more options.".
    However the username is a valid one. i tried the validate code also and the username was validated.
    How to fix this?
    Thanks

    You can set the display name of the particular user
    sppcustom.CommaSeparatedAccounts = userFullname.Name;

    Arch is putting this kernel under a submenu - would this pose problems for setting it as the default?
    In /etc/default/grub you can use the name of your entry you wish to use as default
    GRUB_DEFAULT='Arch Linux, with Linux core repo kernel'
    You can tell grub to stop using submenus by doing:
    GRUB_DISABLE_SUBMENU=y
    Or you can just make a purely custom menuentry in /etc/grub.d/40_custom if you'd like:
    menuentry "Other Linux" {
    linux <KERNEL IMAGE HERE>
    initrd <INITRD IMAGE HERE>
    EDIT: /etc/grub/default -> /etc/default/grub
