How to set the dvt:schedulingGantt TimeScale width ?

Hi All
I'm using dvt:schedulingGantt with days as major timeScale and hours as minor timeScale. But the width of hours timeScale large than I want. Is there any attribute can set the width of timeScale ?

If you define a custom timescale:
class UnaHoraTimescale implements CustomTimeScale
private DateFormat format = new SimpleDateFormat("HH");
private Calendar calendar = Calendar.getInstance();
public String getScaleName()
return "Hora";
And you use it, the size adapt to you format.
I use that because, the hour by default use HH:MM and it is too big for me.
Maybe, it exists a better solution, but I don't know.

  • How to set the width of DataGridColumn dynamically?

    What I want to do is, load data from a text file and put into a DataGrid component, the fields of ech record in the text have fixed length, and are seperated by a space, like this:
    personal.txt
    50 Uvwxyz  Male    123456789
    60 Hijklmn  Male    67890123456789
    30 Abcdefg Male    123456789012345
    40 Opqrst   Female 987654321012345678
    the configuration file is column.xml:
    <dgcolumn>
         <personal>
              <len>20</len>
              <title>Name</title>
         </personal>
         <personal>
              <len>3</len>
              <title>Age</title>
         </personal>
         <personal>
              <len>6</len>
              <title>Sex</title>
         </personal>
         <personal>
              <len>20</len>
              <title>IdNumber</title>
         </personal>
    </dgcolumn>
    First I load the column.xml into an arrColumn, then read the personal.txt and seperate the record by the width( "len" in the xml file ), and put the seperated fields into another arrField, set the arrayFld as the dataProvider of a DataGrid, thus, the title can be showed as the headerText of the DataGrid and the data can be loaded correctly.
    private function handleComplete( event:Event ):void
         var arrField:Array = new Array();
         var arrFile:Array = loader.data.split(/\n/);
         for( var i:int = 0; i < arrColumn.length; i ++ )
              arrField[i] = convIcom( arrFile[i] );
         adgFile.dataProvider = arrField;
         trace( "The data has successfully loaded" );
    private function convIcom( strRecord:String ):Object
         var key:String = null;
         var dataField:String = null;
         var offset:int = 0;
         var obj:Object = new Object();
         if( strRecord.length > 0 )
              for( var i:int = 0; i < arrColumn.length; i ++ )
                   dataField = strRecord.substr( offset, arrColumn[i].len );
                   key = arrColumn[i].title;
                   obj[key] = dataField;
                   offset += arrColumn[i].len + 1;
         return obj;
    <mx:DataGrid x="10" y="100" width="400" id="dgFile" />
    The problem is, the width of the DataGridColumn is average, how to set the column width by the length of each field? I can calculate the rate of each field ( field / fields ), but I don't know how to change the property of the DataGridColumn.width.
    Thanks for helping.

    In the above post, I pasted an old version of personal.txt, so I paste it again:
    personal.txt
    Uvwxyz  50 Male   123456789
    Hijklmn 60 Male   67890123456789
    Opqrst  40 Female 987654321012345678
    Abcdefg 30 Male   123456789012345
    And I have another question, when the data is loaded into the DataGrid, the fields of each record are ordered in alphabetical order ( the "Age" column will appear firstly, then "IdNumber", "Name", "Sex" ), not as the order in column.xml, how to make it keep the sequence of the xml file?
    Thanks again.

  • How to set the BARCODE width and length for label printing..

    Hi All,
    How to set the Code 39 barcode label format in the sizxe of 0.20" * 1.4". By default while printing barcode size exceeds my current requirement. Please let me know to customize the size of barcode labels.
    Thanks.

    I don't know what you mean by "Code 39" because my Output Designer software doesn't offer that barcode (or do you mean "code 3 of 9?). In any case, are you trying to control the size of the text (which is what I think of when you refer to "label")? If you are, then just change the font & size. If you are wanting to modify the physical characteristics of the barcode itself (height & length for a certain number of characters) then you are probably out of luck. Or at least in for some trial & error.
    There are a series of "barcode.xxx" files in the 'config' folder where Output Designer was installed to. These are text files that contain the physical characteristics of the various barcodes for various printers. The parameters that you would be interested in is the height and width of the bars (black & white). For example, a barcode might be defined as .400 high with narrow bars 3 "dots" wide, wide bars 9 "dots" wide and white space the same or different. Presumably changing these values would affect the generated barcode. For example, in this example the wide bars are 3 times the width of the narrow bars so I would assume that relationship would have to remain. To make the resulting barcode shorter you would then use 2 for the narrow and 6 for the wide.
    You would have to make the change in the file(s) that would be used for your printer(s).
    There are four width values for each of the parameters. Most of the barcodes only use 2 but some have 4. I'm assuming that when there are 4, like in "4 8 12 16", that the barcode definition has 4 different widths of bars and/or spaces.
    There is no guarantee that the scanning hardware & software will "see" and interpret the resulting barcode correctly.

  • How to set the WIDTH and ALIGN of h:column in h:dataTable ??

    How to set the WIDTH and ALIGN of <h:column> in <h:dataTable>??
    Thanks a lot!

    Hi,thanks to your reply.
    Now I find a more convenient appraoch to set column's width and align respectively:
    <h:dataTable ...>
    <h:column>
    <f:facet name='header'>
    </f:facet>
    <h:outputText style="width:80px; text-align: right;" value='#{row.fieldA}'/>

    <h:column>
    <f:facet name='header'>

    <h:outputText style="width:120px; text-align: left;" value='#{row.fieldB}'/>

  • JTable Model   --  How to set the width of columns

    Hello,
    This project of mine is due in 2 days. :(
    I am using AbstractTableModel and I can't figure out how to set the columns' width inside my JTable?
    This following code does not work.
    int vColIndex = 1;
    TableColumn col = table.getColumnModel().getColumn(vColIndex);
    int width=399;
    col.setPreferredWidth(width);Please remember, that I'm using AbstractTableModel and not just simple JTables.
    Thanks in advance.

    The DataModel (AbstractTableModel or otherwise) has nothing to do with the table column size. The DataModel is used to store data.
    When you create a JTable using a DataModel then a TableColumn is created for each column in the DataModel using a default column size. The normal order of creation would be:
    TableModel model = new DefaultTableModel(...);
    JTable table = new JTable(model);
    Now that the table and table columns are created you can change the size of the columns:
    int vColIndex = 1;
    TableColumn col = table.getColumnModel().getColumn(vColIndex);
    int width=399;
    col.setPreferredWidth(width);
    So your code looks ok.
    However, if somewhere in you code you do:
    a) table.setModel(...)
    b) fireTableStructureChanged();
    then the table columns are recreated based on the current DataModel and the table column size would be reset to the default values.

  • HELP Friends!!! How to set the width of columns of JTABLE?

    Hi!
    How to set the width of a particular column in JTable?
    I tried using headerRenderers and though I'm able to set the color and font of the header (using getTableCellRendererComponent method)I can't change the size.
    Pls some one help me..it's very urgent.
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards,

    JTable.getColumnModel().getColumn(i).setWidth(width). There are also setPreferredWidth, setMaxWidth and setMinWidth methods.

  • Hi, I am using Indesign CS6, How to set the page size in Inches.

    Hi, I am using Indesign CS6, How to set the page size in Inches.

    All fields in InDesign can be entered in any measurement system. So, if you want to make an 8"x10" document and go to File>New Document and the window looks like this:
    …you can type either 8 in or 8" into the Width field like this:
    …and when you move to the next field, it will convert the eight inches into the equivalent number in the unit of measure that it is using at the moment, like this:
    … (203.2 milimeters is the same as 8 inches). You can also enter a different measurement unit into other fields once the file is created, such as the width or height of a frame, or the position of an object in the X and Y coordinates.
    If you would rather just work in inches instead of having to type the inches mark or abbreviation, go to InDesign>Preferences>General and select the Units & Increments tab. There you will see Ruler Units for Horizontal and Vertical at the top of the window. Set them to Inches and all of the fields will display in inches. If you do that to an open document, you will change the unit of measure for that document. If you do it while no documents are open, it will change the unit of measure for any new documents you create. To change the unit of measure for existing documents, you will have to open each and make the change.

    In /etc/default/grub you can use the name of your entry you wish to use as default
    GRUB_DEFAULT='Arch Linux, with Linux core repo kernel'
    You can tell grub to stop using submenus by doing:
    GRUB_DISABLE_SUBMENU=y
    Or you can just make a purely custom menuentry in /etc/grub.d/40_custom if you'd like:
    menuentry "Other Linux" {

  • SAPUI5: How to set the appearance of Table control?

    Hi there,

    Furthermore, how to set the width of the bord lines or even teh color of the lines?

    Hi,
    The demo link provided by Chandra uses Blue Crystal theme, hence it shows the vertical lines between the columns of the table. If you are using Gold Reflection theme, then to get the vertical lines, you need to play with CSS. Add the below snippet of CSS between <head></head> of your html file.
    <style>
    .sapUiTableTr>td {
                  border-right: 1px solid #cccccc !important;
    </style>

  • How to set the fix size jframe window

    when I run the jframe ,the jframe window size is very small
    1)how to set the fix size jframe window??
    2)how to set the jframe cannot change the window size??
    thx~~

    1. You can set the size by calling JFrame's method setSize. There are two versions of this method: (1) setSize(int width, int height) and (2) setSize(Dimension d). Note, that when you use this method to set the frame size, you don't have to call JFrame's pack method.
    2. JFrame has a method called setResizable(boolean resizable) which you can call with the argument false.
    Without any ill intent, these questions are regarding something that is very easily answered by looking at the documentation for the JFrame class. I suggest to anyone working with swing to at least look briefly through the base classes they're extending before giving up. In my experience it is always more gratifying to figure things out on my own than asking someone. But please don't take this the wrong way, I respect people who seek out help in order to further their knowledge, instead of just giving up.
