How to setup Xcelsius to read an XML file.
Hello, I'm new to Xcelsius 2008 and I have three XML files that I need to setup as data input sources and then build a chart. I tried to setup a data connection, but I'm probably doing something wrong. What is the best way to accomplish this task.
I often use XML Data Maps in Excel to connect the XML docs. In Excel 2007, click on the 'developer' tab in the ribbon (if you don't have it you can add it in the Excel Options page), then under the XML section click 'Source'.
You'll see a sidebar comeup, click on 'XML Maps...' on the bottom right hand corner of this pane. Click 'Add' on the next screen and open the XML file from where it is saved. Once you click OK a few times you'll be back to Excel and see you're schema diagramed. From there you can drag over the schema to your excel workbook, click refresh and you should see a table of your data.
Once that's set, just go to the connections in Xcelsius, add in Excel XML Data Maps as a connection and you're good to go.

How to login to a remote (FTP??) server and read an XML file?

I would like some information on how to login to a remote server using a Java program.
The server might be a ftp server, because the client will ftp a xml file to this server, and the java program needs to login to this server and read the xml file, then convert it into a general report with headings and data from the xml file.
How can I quickly find the API information to login to a server and read an xml file?
If anyone knows the packages off the top of their heads, that would save me some time surfing.
If anyone can provide me some links, code examples, or information I'd greatly be thankful.

How to read a xml file in ActionScript
In mxml we can find <mx:Model> to load a xml and using
it easily. But in ActionScript, there is no such a Class about this
function(only implemented in mxml), so how to load a xml file in a

How to read an xml file on the server?
Hi all,
we need to read an XML file which will be on the appplication server (visible using the transaction AL11).
We will use the transaction CG3Z in order to upload the file to the server.
When we try to open it using the instruction OPEN DATASET we have a dump. Which way must we use to open an xml file in this case?

Current this is my structure please give an idea how to read the mulitple sites as one record, probably i can increase the supplier site columns at table level so as to capture second site level information.

How Can I Attach and Link an XML file to a 3D Model in a PDF?
What I am trying to do is find out how to have a 3D model and a parts list linked to it within the PDF file. I would also like to be able to add to the parts list if at all possible once the pdf has been created. A template to create future PDF's with the 3D model and list might also be useful.
I am not entirely sure if this is all possible within a PDF file, but I have viewed a PDF (Adidas Trainer) example which has a Excel file attached to it which links to the 3D model. I have also had a look at partner products such as Lattice, Tetra4D, Anark, which can do animations and all sorts, but frankly it seems a bit overkill for what I am looking to do.

You could use the very same thing just instead of suppressing

I'm working on a <b>WAS620</b> and need to read an XML file from a customer, extract the fields needed and post these via IDOC ORDERS01. My problem is HOW to read the XML file? Can anyone give me the steps involved/links to examples etc - I have not processed XML files via ABAP before.
The file is posted to a shared folder and the ABAP I am about to develop will pick up this file.
The file is <b>NOT</b> in IDOC/XML format but the customers own format
